Hello Everyone!

My DBF BJ, and I just spent a great week at WDW and we ate at some great places with the DDP.

Who: Myself, Kate princess: I am a long time Disney lover since I have visited WDW every year since I was a little kid. I have been there over 20 times! and my DBF BJ :wizard: who sadly had only been to Disney once :scared1: in 2000! Not so much into Disney but I planned to convert him on this trip :rotfl:

When: Jan 25 to Feb 1st 2010

Where: Walt Disney World! We stayed at Pop Century!

Why: Well, I started the Disney College program on Feb 1st:yay: I am working merchandise at Disney's Hollywood Studios :cheer2: (You can read my blog, check the link in my signature!) So at the end of our trip BJ helped me move into my apartment. Also BJ has joined the Air Force and will be leaving for BMT on March 23rd, after that he will be in tech school in Texas, so it will be a long time until we get to spend time together again:sad: So this trip was a way for us to spend some time together before starting our long distance relationship.

You'll notice that in some of the pictures we are wearing First Visit buttons, even though it is not either of our first visits. (He only went once when he was 10) However it is OUR FIRST VISIT TOGETHER and they don't make a button for that or one that says "I joined the military" or "Disney College Program" :rolleyes1

So I tried my best to take decent pictures, I am not a professional photographer by any means! Also sometimes you will see there is a bite taken out of something because I forgot to take a picture first

Here is a list of what I will be reviewing

So BJ and I took my card down on the Autotrain, because I would be staying for the College Program, and he would be flying back.

When we first boarded we got free snacks, crackers, cheese, carrots, celery and dip. There was also free wine tasting but we are not old enough to drink

At dinner we had salad and rolls. I had Chicken Marsala, and BJ had Salmon. We both had cheesecake for dessert.

The chicken was good, the rice was really bad, BJ didn't really care for the salmon, the cheescake wasn't that good either. It was sort of fluffy not heavy like it should have been.
After dinner they were showing 'The Proposal' in the lounge car, so we watched that and ate free cookies and hot chocolate.
The next morning the had a free continental breakfast. There was bagels and muffins, as well as cereal and fruit.

We arrived in Sanford and waited for them to unload my car!

Then it was on to Disney!

We checked into the hotel around 11:00 am and we were starving! So we headed over to Downtown Disney to eat at:

We were eating at Hollywood & Vine later, so we decided to just order the Supersaurus Sampler. We paid extra to add ribs and fried shrimp.

Brachiosaurus Bruschetta, very good
disney2010088.jpg

T-Rexadillas and Onion Rings, the onion rings were perfect, not greasy at all, and the T-rexadillas were delicious! They are not too spicy, which is perfect for me!
disney2010087.jpg

Spinach and pepper jack queso with tortilla chips and a side of ribs. The queso was the best part of the sampler, not very spicy (which again is good for me :) ) The ribs were not that good. I thought they were very tough and so did BJ.

Side of fried shrimp, this was the worst part of the dish! I took one bite and wouldn't eat anymore! They were fried but not crispy, and the shrimp tasted like rubber. Not worth paying the $6.99 to add it IMHO.

We both ordered water to drink, since we were paying for this OOP. Orginally I was supposed to have a gift card from Mypoints but it didn't come in time for the trip:mad:. The restaurant was very noisy, and every 20 minutes there was a meteor shower in the next room, we were sitting in the ice cave room. The theme was very cool, and overall we were glad we ate there!
