There WILL be a TR of some sort!:worship::yay::woohoo:

Ahhhhhhhh...........................

That's right! :woohoo:

I can't have carbonation anymore at all after my surgery....one really good drink that I like are the Sobe Lifewaters. I get the 0 calories one, they are very good. Come in a lot of different flavors, still refreshing like water but a nice flavor. Water does get boring!

I can't wait to see your cabana picture! :thumbsup2

Hey, thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to have to check those out, do you get them at a drug store or the grocery store, or what? :goodvibes

All caught up again! I am getting more and more excited about your trip so I can just imagine how you must be feeling right about now!

SUPER excited!

I don't blame you about not having told DS yet -- I waited an awfully long time before telling Connor about the October trip and he was ten. :lmao: I just knew he would be upset -- be thankful your DS is still young enough that you can sneak off to Disney without him being any the wiser. ;)

I told him tonight, but I'll save that story for tomorrow. It is in a word...priceless.

Did you try the new iced tea they have at the drink stations on your last trip? I loved, loved, loved it. I could drink that all day with no problem. :thumbsup2

Jackie, do they have that everywhere? I loved the White Citrus Tea. If they had that, I would be a VERY happy lady.

:goodvibes I'm excited, too!

Mentally ready! Nice! Not packed yet??!! :scared1:

You'll make it, don't worry. At least you have your toiletries!! :lmao:

I'm not sure you really need to even tell your son! I like your plan of telling him you're going away for a few days and leave it at that. If he were 10 or 11 maybe, as they do need to know that they aren't included in everything, but when he's still so little, the lesson would be lost on him. (not that you're tyring to teach him a lesson, but I think you kwim)

I think I saw a little sign with your name on it- a placard that says "reserved for TK".

;)

I bet you they do -- they had it at CBR where I stayed, and they had it at Pop where you were, so I bet that is now standard at all the resorts. :goodvibes

Good to know! :thumbsup2

Let's not even talk about the fact that my husband, lovely though he is, STILL has not retrieved my suitcase from our storage unit!!!! :confused3 I asked him to do this on the weekend, and it still hasn't happened. Hopefully he'll remember tonight.

And I know what you're all thinking. Why not go get it yourself? Because I know that viewing our storage unit would cause undue stress. He's got a system for all our junk. A system I have no desire to see.

I did tell him last night, and it was too funny. That update will come later today. :thumbsup2

Ha, a placard with my name. :yay:

OK, I was thinking that, but now I understand your reluctance. My DHs "organizing" systems give me constipation too.

I"m curious how telling DS went! Hope it was positive!

First of all I'm so glad to hear that you will be doing a TR! I so enjoy your TRs and your PTRs you just have a great way with words!!!

I'm so enjoyed just sitting in the lobby of the GF and having the tea there I can't imagine staying there...I can't wait to see all your pictures!!! The cabana one sounds like a lot of fun!!

I really wish you all the relaxation and fun you can take on this trip!!! Sometimes you just have to get away to recharge and refocus!!!!

Life has been a little crazy for a few days but no worries I have not abandoned ship! Sounds like the condo thing worked out for the best, so glad to hear you are feeling stress-free, clothing situation sounds good and I can't wait to hear what you told DS and what he said. Phew - got that all out! Here's my your trip is almost here dance!:dance3::cheer2::yay::cool1:

Yes, I'm not the type to insist that things be done for me...well, that should be pretty obvious LOL...but at this point in the pregnancy with the stress I had over the condo, I have NO desire to see our storage unit. It would probably kill me.

And you're right, sometimes we do need to recharge those batteries. I'm really looking forward to that.

You did get a lot out there. Thanks for your kind words, and almost here dance! :thumbsup2

Okay, my excitement level has increased exponentially today. I'm feeling better, more well rested, DS and I are having a good day, and the three of us got to hear the baby's heartbeat at my doctor's visit this morning.

If that's not an affirmation of life, I don't know what is.

I also stopped by the realtor's office and got my check back for what would have been a deposit on the condo. Can you say, cha-ching? Money back in my pocket is always a good thing!

I have $70 in reward dollars and I'm trying to decide how much cash to bring. I'm seriously debating asking (read begging) my DH if I can borrow his DS (Nintendo, not our son LOL) for the tirp. It would be so awesome to Tetris and MarioKart my way through the flights. Definitely take my mind off of it. :goodvibes

DH is supposed to be bringing the suitcase from our storage unit tonight, and that's when packing will commence, thus beginning the great debate.

Roll.

Or Fold? :lmao:

I'll have to see how everything fits better. Normally, I'm a "roll" kind of gal, but it may not work with some of my flowy tops.

Last night, I bit the bullet and told DS.

His non-reaction was pricless.

TK - "Do you remember when Mama and Auntie Tink went away for a few days?"

DS - "Uh huh."

TK - "Well, this weekend, Mama and Mimi are going away for a few days."

DS - "Ok."

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Now, today, he asked me why he couldn't come, and I just said because he was going to get to do lots of fun boy stuff with Papa, like play video games and watch movies, etc. He was appeasead. So we'll see how the actually leaving goes on Saturday, although I don't anticipate too much trouble.

That's pretty much where we're at right now, folks. I checked the weather and we're looking at low 70s across the board, which could be nice if it stays that way. Rain has worked its way in and out of the forecast so many times, I'm ignoring it. What will be will be.

The zen philosophy of my trip. :thumbsup2

Awww..how amazing that all three of you could go and hear the baby's heartbeat!! That is so exciting TK!!!

YAY for DS response! I'm sure him and Daddy will have some great and fun "guy" time!!!!

Glad DH is getting out the suitcase for you tonight!!! Packing means the trip is right there...or at least for me who waits until the last minute. So any tye-dye going on this trip????

Oh and Money in the pocket...always a good thing!! Oh and do you have an AP?? I can't remember at this time...but ask everywhere you shop...when I was last there they were giving the AP discount at a lot of the stores IN the parks! I got 20% at the Emporium to the Confectionary...so don't hesitate to ask!! They were even giving deals at dining places...so just ask!!! (of course if you don't have the AP ignore my ramble LOL)

What a great family experience to hear the little peanut's heartbeat!!! :goodvibes

Some of that extra money could buy you a new D&B purse as a consolation. ;)

Glad DS was so good with the idea of you going away this weekend. :woohoo:

It was really amazing.

I know the boys will have plenty of fun without me. Probably some things I don't even want to know about. :lmao:

I do have one 3/4 sleeve maternity tie dye that I made, so we'll see if it's cool enough for it. :goodvibes

I don't, but my mom does, so we'll have to ask, thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2

When I asked about it they said they were giving the discount through February something...so should still be in effect while you're there!!!

I would have to say one of the neatest things about having a second child is being able to share it with the child who is already here. Having him be part of the process brings a newness to this that I absolutely love.

Oh, you HAD to bring that up, huh? :lmao:

Glad DS was so good with the idea of you going away this weekend. :woohoo:

Me, too! Phew.

Cool!

Now if only I could book bounceback, I'd be all set. :rotfl2:

Glad to hear the discussion of you going away went smooth with your DS!

As far as rolling versus packing...I discovered a new method that I actually REALLY like. The bundle method. It seems to save room and causes fewer wrinkles! I learned about it on http://www.onebag.com/pack.html, about halfway down it describes the bundle method.

Huh! That's interesting, I've never heard of that before.

Now I have a third method to try! :lmao:

I buy the Life Waters anywhere, grocery, gas stations, Walmart, Target. They even had them at Disney this time around.

How exciting that you were able to hear the heartbeat! :lovestruc

I'm sure DS will be just fine when you leave. He seemed to handle May pretty well!

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check it out the next time I go to the grocery store. I'm planning to go soon (before the trip).
