How exciting is it to happen upon a surprise trip for a DIS friend??!! Super exciting! I've had such fun catching up with you. So sorry about all of the stress with the condo. I loved the stories about your grandfather. How lovely that your friend brought you a memento he had picked out!

I am postively delighted that you ad your mom get to head to the world and stay in your dream hotel. In just a week! I hope you and your mom have a great time!!!

Thanks Christine! This trip was totally unexpected, but really easy to plan, which is awesome. I am still in awe over getting the Grand Flo for 45% off. That's the highest discount I've ever seen on this resort, with the exception of my cast member discount way back when.

I'm just glad that the condo stress is over! Phew!!! I hope I sleep like a baby tonight.

That is yet another thing they don't sell out here. They have marshmellow creme but to me it didn't taste the same. I couldn't let my dd grow up with out having a fluffernutter sandwich.

Your last update made me feel all teary too. I am glad that you heard back about the condo. I am glad you will be able to sleep and that you are at peace with the decision. I think wiggle room is nice. My dh and I are thinking of selling so we can have wiggle room. We did have some but then some things happened beyond our control and we don't have it anymore. I miss it. Also have to do a little one week dance as your ticker says 7 days.

In the almost two years we have been chatting through the DIS, I don't think I have ever heard you say one bad thing about your apartment. I think that is where you are meant to be for the time being.

It's impossible not to think of these things when you go to Disney, because as much as home is part of your history, Disney is part of it too.

It is a part of you in a way that nothing else is. It is your happy place. You've had good and bad times there, but you always go back to it. You always want one more piece of that magic.

Oh, how very true! Very, very true!

It may sound selfish, or weird, but my trips to Disney are my life raft. My vacation there once a year is what we save for, it's what we look forward to, what we plan in great detail. We love them, we cherish them, we wait for them.

We are like that, too! Disney is truly my life raft at times!

I am glad you will be able to sleep tonight and that you are okay on the condo going to the other buyer.

I consumed more bean burritos with extra sour cream than should be allowed by one human while pregnant. There was one within walking distance to my apt. and I was there every day for months.

I think I like that you are to stay put- your stress level was making me nervous for you!

Oh lord. That would be SO bad for me.

My stress level has recently plummeted...basically, it's non-existent.

Last night, I took a quick gander through my tolietries, and it pretty much looks as though I have everything.

I still need to make a quick trip to Walmart (we're running out of our regular shampoo and conditioner here LOL) and get some snacks for the plane/room. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to buy. Indecision while pregnant and the options of Walmart are not a good thing, so I'll even be interested to see what I come home with!

When I get home from work today, I'll be having a little maternity fashion show. I need to try on some of my maternity tees and see if I look ridiculous in them (they're pretty big) or if they'll be okay for me to wear. Once I get an idea in my head of which outfits I'll be packing, I'll start to pack the tops and whatever else I can just to get a head start. I want to be packed well before Friday night, and I just need to remember to ask DH to go to our storage unit and get my suitcases so I can see which one will work. I'll also finalize which bag I'm taking on the plane, after I see what I'm really bringing.

I don't think much. Possibly a couple of paperbacks, deck of cards, snacks...what else do I really need? Something to think about

Because I'm working on Saturday, I'll need to have everything completely ready to go before then, because I do not plan to go home in between work and our flight.

I need to decide which camera we're bringing. I'm more comfortable with mine, but Mom's is a lot smaller and thinner to fit in a purse and carry. Maybe we should just go with hers.

Now, without further ado, it's time for our daily weather check. Let's see where we're at 6 days out...

Wow. You got a little question crazy, eh?

I'm thinking we'll probably take my mom's camera, because my memory card is full and I don't know that I can dump it and store the photos before we leave.

I do like to look for Hidden Mickey's, but I don't have any of the books. That could be something cool to do with mom this time, but it will really depend on my energy level.

I usually do bring a notebook for trip report notes, and I know you'll all be dying for me to do a TR, but I don't know if I'll do a full one. I may just do food reviews, I am not sure. Again, energy level.
