Best color to order for Baby Jogger City Mini

Okay, I think I have decided to order this stroller after MUCH going back and forth between it and the Peg Pliko. I need a long rest
Anyway, I'm not sure what color to order. What are most of the ones you find at Disney? It looks like the rentals are orange from the picture of the rental company. I know they have it in red, black, green and beige. Does anyone feel one color is better than the others for wear? I would rather not have one that is the same color as most at Disney- that way I can find mine easier. Thanks again for the help. I am ready to put this stroller issue to rest!

I don't have the BJCM but I have a stroller similar in color to the green and it shows dirt easily.

If you live in a sunny climate (or tend to visit one a lot), I'd avoid black as it just soaks up the heat.

Orlando Stroller Rentals does have the orange ones and Magic Strollers has the green, at least the one we rented from Magic was green.

Beige is boring to me and I'm not a fan of orange so I personally would go with the green as I like earth tones or the red. I'd lean toward the red as we have a red double now (Jane Powertwin) and it is definitely easy to spot in a crowd and I feel "safer" walking down the sidewalk/streets at home as I know people can easily see it so there's less chance of being run over. Not that the cars drive on the sidewalks in our area... I'm just saying.

I have a preference for red but red was not available in my area. My stroller is orange (which is still one of my favorite colors). I used it at Disney in July. While there are a lot of BJCM rentals that are orange, I had no problem picking mine out of the crowd.

There have been numerous threads on how to make your stroller stand out - balloon, bright handkerchief/scarf tied to the handle, etc. For our Maclaren last January, I had our name embroidered in red (on a gray canopy) to help it stand out.

I love our City Mini, btw.

I have the Beige. It was my last choice because I was worried about how dirty it would get, but it was the only color I could get a deal on. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed at how well the color has stood up to the dirt. Plus, being so lightly colored keeps it a little cooler than the black.

I have always liked the look of red strollers. That said, both strollers that I have purchased have been black b/c I think they wear a little better. This was when I was basically using the stroller for several hours, per day, though.

Okay, so I checked the diapers.com web site and called the rep. They will only do one or the other- 10% off or price match. I am still happier with this site, than albeebaby, because they have a 365 day return policy and they pay for return shipping. With albeebaby (where I was looking) they charge restocking fees and Im not sure if I would have to pay for return shipping or not. Anyway, thanks for the heads up about diapers.com. Since I cant actually put my dd in one locally to try it out, it is nice that I can return the stroller if it doesnt fit our needs.

Yeah for deciding on the BJCM!! DH picked the green. It is nice and I don't see alot of that color. Though the only draw back is that it does show dirt a little easier. Wish I went w/ the red but oh well DH liked the green.

Good for u to call back and be able to get both codes to work.

You will like it. If you need a rain cover-- I use the baby trend jogging stroller cover. It works fairly well. Stores in the back pouch. BRU was less than $20 for it. DS2 is not keen on the stroller cover being on.

So which color did you go with? We have the BJCM double in green and it is my favorite colored stroller. We have red and black and navy ones, but the green is the best! Yay for the great deal!

Just FYI (too late now) Babies R Us only sells the orange.

I went with the green. Diapers.com was sold out of the red, which is the color I was going to order. They only had black, orange and green. I knew I didnt want black and if I were a huge TN fan I may have ordered the orange, but went with the green and hoping it wont show too much dirt
It should arrive on Tuesday and I will post back

We bought ours 2 years ago before you could rent them for Disney and chose the orange. It was DH's favorite color and out of the way too many strollers we already own, we hadn't had an orange one yet. LOL

I also bought one in blue for my brother's new baby and am soooo jealous that I didn't get that one for myself! It is an electric blue and really pretty. I like the orange but I wish the color was more vivid like the blue is and that there wasn't so much gray on it. Plus there are way too many orange ones at Disney now!

I know that the blue and the red ones had black accents instead of gray ones and less of it. The red seems very pretty and bright too although I know the 2010 red is a different shade so maybe darker?
