I've booked a suite for the end of this month. The price was incredible but did I make the right choice? Anyone ever use this resort before? Any opinions and/or stories you would like to share...I'm all ears.

Never stayed there, but it looks great. Easy to get to the parks, shopping or I-drive. Where did you find your rate? I am looking at a 1 bedroom. Right next to Lake Buena Vista outlet mall.

you made the right choice,..the place is beautiful..Whatever your pleasure, is it has! they say, “Unpack Once and See It All”. whether you want to visit the theme parks, do some power shopping, hit a few golf balls, keep up with your workout, watch the fireworks from your balcony, or simply relax and rejuvenate, it’s all here in this resort residence..i know you will enjoy it!...

I searched every possible hotel website imaginable. I found the best rate on Orbitz, and then used a 10% off promotional code (WELCOME10) when I booked. Got a three-bedroom suite for less than $700 for the week.

I actually got the best rate by calling the resort directly. The lowest price I found online was $136 a night for the three bedroom which I got for $113 a night by calling....

We leave for Florida tomorrow and will be staying at this resort for 6 nights...

I promise a full report (with pictures) when we get back!

That's not bad at all.

We stayed here. The furnishings in our unit were very plain and basic..on the cheap side. Our unit overlooked a pile of dirt...nice and was a very loooooooooooong way from the pool. The unit itself was very nice and it had the biggest baddest bathtub EVAH!:rotfl2: Close to everything...shopping...dining etc! :goodvibes

Did you try requesting a room with a different view?

We're booked at this resort for our May/June vacation and I had a couple questions.
1. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how big the in-room safe is? Similar to Disney's? Big enough for a laptop? Bigger?
2. When I booked online, I saw nothing about additional fees, but read a review somewhere (I forget which site) hinting at resort fees. Did anyone experience this or was your bill exactly what you booked???
3. Do you know if they will accept traveler's checks at this resort? I would love to avoid putting everything from the trip on a credit card.

I can only answer your second question, and YES, there are resort fees. When I booked through Orbitz, it stated on my bill that the resort fee was $47.50 and that was to be paid at the resort.

Hope that answers your question.

The rate I get directly from the site is much much lower than the one I get from Orbitz. :confused3

The safe is bigger than the ones found at Disney resorts, from my understanding of the size of theirs. I have never seen any Disney resorts safes, but I have seen the ones at LBVRVS, and they can fit more than just a laptop in it.

The resort fees are included in the "taxes and fees" section shown when you book your reservation (if you book directly with them), included in your final total. Last time I stayed here I encountered no other fees other than what my final quote was. I don't know if that has changed since then, but I don't think it has. I'm going to book 2 weeks there for May/ June shortly!

Maybe so! Last time I was there the pirate pool wasn't finished, so I'm looking forward to that.

I just booked two nights on Priceline for $72 per night for Nov. 2010. It will make getting off the ship ( Magic) a little easier :goodvibes

When you booked with Priceline, what star category did you bid? Do you have a one or two bedroom unit? Any info will be helpful!

I stayed in the 3 star category and above. I'm not sure if we have a 1BR or two. It's just DH and I.

We stayed there two years ago and loved, loved, loved it. We have recommended it to everyone we know going to visit there. In fact, some friends of ours who own a resort where we live stayed there back in Oct. and they loved it, too.

We are going back to WDW in April, and I am shocked that my husband booked an onsite resort. After staying at LBV, I thought I would never be able to get him to stay onsite.

We had a four bedroom/four bath deal because my mother and brother were staying with us. We were able to get a killer deal because they were still under construction, and I think we used the Orlando Magic card, too.

I believe you will not be disappointed.

Looking at the picture this looks like the same location that my family stayed in June 2002. Would anyone know what it was named at that time? I remember they had a fantastic buffet that would make anyone happy. Transportation also was flawless. Would the shuttle have dropoff to just the parks or the resorts like Coronado?
