Country Inn and Suites Cape Canaveral - Priceline

Has anyone been successful with the night of Feb. 6th? I haven't had any luck.....

I tried, but no luck. They are completely booked.

They did say that all the priceline rooms are booked as the kids suites.

The shuttle is scheduled to launch @ 4AM on the 7th so thats probably why there are no rooms left.

Thanks OP for the post! I was able to book the Country Inn & Suites for our 1/16 stay. That saved me over $70 on my original booking!

@*disgal*: The parking is free with your purchased stay (i.e. one, or two purchased nights). Since you are leaving your car in their lot (for and extended period of time) you have to leave the make/model detail w/the hotel so your vehicle won't be towed away. This is the $20 charge~a HUGE BARGAIN since the parking charges at the port are $15/day? We have stayed here before our last cruise and can't wait to go back. The mineral pool is WONDERFUL!

I just called to check on my Priceline reservation and we are also in a kid suite. My DD8 will be so excited!:goodvibes

I called the hotel today to make sure we've got the correct number of beds (priceline reservation says two adults, but we will also have our two children with us). We too have one of the kids suites!!!

Does anyone by chance have a photo of the kids suite? I've searched online, and the only one I can find is a single bed in the kids area, no bunkbed type photos. Would love to see one.

I booked our room today for our April 9th stay before the Eastbound Transatlantic. Got it for $63 ($49 + tax)!!!:thumbsup2

Hey, thanks! I will probably give it a go, once we get the cruise paid off in a couple weeks:)

I did one night for $49 on 2/20 - a pre cruise hotel! Thanks! Now we have 3 kids...so I *Pray* get a Kids Suite...if not, I"ll be Pricelining another room...although the youngest is a Pack and Play kid - not a bed.

Congratulations!! Just call the hotel directly and ask them to check to see what type of room you're in. They asked for my name and check in date...didn't even bring up Priceline. We were assigned a kid suite for our pre-cruise night of Jan 20th.

When I called the hotel to see what type of room we got, they didn't ask for my name or date after I told them I booked it through Priceline. She said all Priceline rooms are Kid Suites :cool1:

That's exactly it! When we travel to KSC for work we typically stay there or the Residence Inn next door as they are the closest to the AF gate.

THANK YOU THANK YOU for this tip! Got a room for Saturday April 3rd at $62.11, includes tax. Wow, what a great deal! With the $20 for parking/shuttle, we saved almost half the listed pricing! Yahoo! :yay:

Can someone tell me what the kidsuite consists of?

Apparently, a Queen (or is it a double) bed, and a little alcove off the room for the kids in which there is either a bunk bed or a single bed (depending on what you need), and their own little tv. I found a photo of the single bed in the alcove, on line, but was hoping to see the bunk bed set up (can't find a photo anywhere).

I have a kids suite for Jan. 29th booked through Priceline (from this thread info!). When I called the hotel to ask about bed assignments, the clerk told me that it has a room with one queen bed and then another room with bunk beds and a twin size bed. The suite also comes with a dining area of table and chairs and, I think, a frig. I had originally booked a one room suite so this works out much better for my family of 4 + Gma that is traveling with us.

We stayed here before our last cruise in Feb. 2008 and can't wait to come back! :thumbsup2

I'm echoing the previous posters but I just did Priceline for March 19 and got the same room I had booked earlier for $49 plus taxes instead of the $149 I had originally booked. We wanted this hotel so color me excited to have $100more to blow on excursions!

I am so happy and thanks to all of you for sharing another great tip!
