Let's get some more activity here. What are your top 5 attractions overall at Tokyo Disney Resort?

Mine are:

1. Journey to the Center of the Earth
2. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull
3. Pooh's Hunny Hunt
4. Tower of Terror
5. Fortress Explorations (to me it's an attraction!)

I'll admit this was not an easy task!!

That's a tough one to narrow down, but let me try...

Journey To The Center Of The Earth
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (my husband is a huge 20k fan, and even though the ride isn't amazing, he's just happy there IS a ride!)
Pooh's Hunny Hunt
Tower of Terror
Dreamlights Parade (only because it brings back very happy memories of the Main St. Electrical Parade!)

I'll give an honorable mention to 20K Leagues under the Sea...

I enjoyed the attraction, but this is one ride where realism clashes with convenience...meaning I love the look of the ride and its layout, however it also doesn't allow you to see everything on the ride...I was seated on the far right side...so unless you sit in the middle, you don't see as much.

Having said that, I like that there's some interactive things in there...and it really is cool :thumbsup2

I agree that you must sit in the middle for the best view on this ride.

We sat on one of the sides for our first ride and were disappointed. Then, we committed our one big "no-no" at TDR for the next ride and REQUESTED the middle seat. The cast members (three of them) had to discuss it, we had gotten them all flustered with our request! They ended up giving us a sub to ourselves and let us sit where we wanted.

I must admit we felt a little bad for our faux pas, but then again, it was a slow rainy weekday and there were only two people behind us in line. It was literally a walk-on and we ended up riding it three times in a row, sitting in different seats so we could see everything.

Also, we lucked out on Journey...I think we rode it at least 5 times and we were in the front seat 3 of those times...which is the best view IMO. (And we didn't ask, it was just luck!)

1. Hightower Tower of Terror
2. Journey into the Center of the Earth. (It is silly but my favorite part is where you are in the elevator down and it gets super hot in there! Really makes you feel like you are going into the center of the Earth!)
3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull
4. The Little Mermaid Show
5. Splash Mountain. (Because that is where DH asked me to marry him!)

I have tons of others but those ones are always a must since when we go. I have to translate for Mermaid but DH it loves it just the same.

5. Splash Mountain. (Because that is where DH asked me to marry him!)

Aww :)

About 20K Leagues, yes althogh I've never been told, I was guessing they "don't take requests" there on where to sit since it slows things down and that can be a bad thing for such a popular park...I'm glad they made an exception though.

I love the elevator, too! The heat, the dings and other sound effects...we got it on video because we loved it so much!

We didn't get to see the Little Mermaid Show (refurb)...it's tops on our list for the next time...

Your DH proposed at Splash Mountain at TDL? Oh, that's so cool!!!!

My DH proposed at the France pavilion at EPCOT. We were about a week from our trip to Europe and it would have been super cool if he proposed at DLP, but he was scared to carry the ring through airport security...he thought with his luck, he'd get searched and have to propose to me right there! Heh! EPCOT is great, though, because we get to stop by "our spot" fairly often.

Yes it was awesome! He asked me like 2 seconds into the ride. It was great! We had a fan club behind us when he popped the questions. These Japanese girls kept cheering for it it was sooo funny and memorable! I loved it! We were both serving in Japan at the time and he knew I liked it there so we I said we are going to TDL he just got back from Alaska got a ring there with out telling me and decided that asking at TDL would be a great thing! It was and we've been married for 3 happy years.

Wow that's sooo cool! I love the France Pavillion it's a happening place. We always eat dinner or lunch there! I think it's cause I wanna be a chef when I grow up. :P

I want to get married at DisneySea's wedding pavilion, once I find the one I'm going to marry...(oh, and if they agree to the wedding being there... lol)

I just looked at the pictures of the weddings at the Miracosta...is that what you're talking about? It's gorgeous!!!!! I wonder if they do vow renewals? :)

I will tell DH just that!

Ohh Chris WHEN you do get married that would be the prefect place! That would be a great wedding and oh so pretty!!! I wish we could have afforded to stay at Miracosta...but we got too good of a deal on on a hotel in Hiroo....

Wow I can just imagine right now~~!!

For enough money I'm sure they would....oh wait, I'm not talking about the Disney Company here, but OLC :rotfl2:

But, yes, that is right now my dream wedding place :)

Maybe in a few years

Mine:

1) Journey to the Center of the Earth
2) Indiana Jones Adventure
3) Storm Rider
4) ToT
5) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Like so many others

1) Journey to the Center of the Earth
2) Indiana Jones Adventure
3)Star Wars
4) Storm Riders
5) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

1 - Pooh's Hunny Hunt
2 - Journey to the Centre of the Earth (that creature is amazing)
3 - Pooh's Hunny Hunt
4 - Legend of Mythica
5 - Little Mermaid Show

Honourable mentions
- Disneysea Transit Steamer Line
- 20,000 leagues. Great ride.

I found TOT and Indiana quite disappointing given WDW and DL Anaheim have better versions.
TOT is the same every time and while the theming is more "spectacular" it is such a hodge podge of things it just looks silly.
Indy is EXACTLY the same track as at Disneyland anaheim except there are skulls chucked in every so often.
