on our last day of our cruise we are trying to make arrangements for transportation to go to BLT, we have decided to schedule a pick up from a car service, being our first disney cruise, we are not sure what time to schedule the pick up for. Does anyone have any info on this matter? We were kind of hoping to enjoy breakfast before we get off the boat, will we have time, do they rush you off the boat? Thanks!

figure on being off the ship no later than 9am (we've always been off well before then).

if you use a car service that is familar with DCL and other cruise lines at Port Canaveral, they should be able to work with you on planning a good pickup time.

Your breakfast seating time on the last morning is based on your dinner from the night before; the latest breakfast seating time is 8:15. If you do not like your seating time, you can eat at the buffet at Topsider's, where serving ends promptly at 8:30.

Everyone is asked to be off the ship by 9:00. If you are not on your way off by then, CMs will start to politely encourage you.

What time you want to be off depends on your desires for the day. I'd probably book the car for 9 and plan on staying on the ship as long as possible. If you're eager to get to WDW, you can book the car earlier.

In addition to what PPs said, even though (if you are renting) their site says to call to arrange a pick-up like Budget's did, you don't need to. Check to make sure, but Budget's site said to call and you didn't need to per them when I did call. They have shuttles running constantly. So you can get off at your relative leisure. :goodvibes

The drivers for private cars understand that the pickup time is an estimate. They stand outside the exit gates to wait for you holding their little signs. I've never seen a driver leave before either their party shows up or they make sure the terminal is cleared.

That is good to know. We have FL tours booked for our trip back to the airport and i'm a little worried that we have the return time too early (it was the lastest they would give us for after the cruise).
