Another question this time - tea

I don't drink coffee. I drink tea. Then it gets complicated - I drink herbal tea, particularly peppermint. I'm thinking getting hot water will be no problem, but I should bring my own tea, right?

Drinking regular caffeinated tea 2 days in a row will give me a headache if I don't have it on day 3. Yes, my head is that sensitive.

Thanks!

You can choose to bring your own tea if you wish. However, the ship has quite a collection of various types of teas available at the beverage station on deck 9 and in the dining rooms. It was Twinnings on deck 9, a different brand in the dining room. They had peppermint, camomille, etc. as well as caffeinated teas like earl gray and English breakfast.

Sorry to hijack, but where is the best place to get really hot water? I have my own special instant coffee that I'm addicted to and don't want to have to bring my hot pot to boil water? And I need HOT water!! Where is the best place to find that onboard?

Thanks! I have the packing space but not bringing it is great!

I am a self-confessed tea-snob.

I am not really happy with the selection of Twinnings teas at Deck 9 -- the tealovers.com alternatives in the dining rooms is better.

But, I still bring my own tea bags. If you have a particular favorite, I would suggest doing the same (how much space does a box of tea bags take?)

there are a couple of hot water spigots at the Deck 9 drink station.

Leave the hot pot home, it is not allowed. Like irons and bottle warmers, these are considered fire hazards. The hot water on deck should work for you. If not, you can ask in the dining rooms or at the buffet.
