Looking for a hotel in mid February-after President's weekend is done- for 4 nights, 5 people. My preference is a kids suite with bunks, free transportation to Disney, a really nice pool area with preferably waterslide, free breakfast or reduced food costs. We also won't have a car so need restaurants in walking distance or a decent food court- not too expensive and lots of choices. Really don't want to pay over $150 per night and that's pushing it.

Is there anything out there with decent reviews that would fit this criteria or are my expectations too high?

Thanks for helping me out. I just can't find the right one yet.

Hawthorn Suites will meet most of your requirements. The price is right. They have a basic pool and hot tub, free breakfast and transportation to Disney. We stayed there last December and it fine.

I'd also look into Seralago, but check reviews first.

We're staying that week at the Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa. We got a 2 bedroom with full kitchen for under $120 a night. No free breakfast but you can definitely stock up on some things in your room. There is a restaurant on site and there is a shopping mall next door which I think has a food court & some other restaurants. The pool area looks great & it has a pirate ship with waterslide. The reviews on T Are really good. I think it has a shuttle but not sure as we are renting a car.

Thanks, I have actually been looking at the LBV resort and spa. I will check it out further.

Check out Blue Heron Resort, their units have bunk beds and several restaurants close by:

"Starbuck's is located on property

Numerous restaurants are located around us.
Bennigans is located just across the street
Dunkin Donuts and CiCi’s Pizza are located within 50 steps right next to the resort.

Within walking Distance:
Longhorn Steakhouse
Landry’s Seafood
Golden Corral
Bahama Breeze
Wendy’s Hamburgers
Chick-fil-A"

Keep in mind that most of the hotel shuttles don't run like the WDW busses do. It was my experience that they ran a couple of time in the morning and a couple of times in the afternoon/early evening. Also, the hotel we stayed at shared a shuttle with several other area hotels so there were stops for other hotels pick-up and drop-off. We found it to be very inconvenient. After the first day we ended up renting a car.

I just booked a three-bedroom suite at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. Two rooms have king beds and the third room has twin beds. Breakfast is not included but the suite offers a full kitchen, so just stock up on groceries. Shuttle service is free and if I'm not mistaken the outlet mall is right across the street. There is also a private balcony, which I'm told you can see Magic Kingdom's fireworks' display from.

I've never stayed at this resort before but I read plenty of reviews and 95% of them were positive.

I found the best deal on this resort through Orbitz, along with a 10% off promotional code (WELCOME10). The booking was less than $700 for the week.

Hope this helps.
