Bay Lake Tower room question

I was thinking about booking a two bedroom unit in BLT on our next trip, and have a question about the rooms. All the floorplans that I've seen are of rooms on the outer crescent of the building; the living room/kitchen starts out narrower at the entrance to the room and gets wider as you walk towards the windows/balconies. Are the rooms on the inner crescent the opposite? Does the living/kitchen area get narrower as you walk towards the windows? It's not really a make-it-or-break it thing, it just occurred to me earlier in the day.

Hmmm. I'm sitting in the LR of a 2br STD view inner ring room right now. I didn't bring a measuring tape, but the room seems rectangular to me (doesn't fan outward or inward). There are some differences in the floor plan. The inner ring rooms have a laundry room. I haven't stayed in a outer ring room yet, but I believe they have a larger island in the kitchen ?

Thanks for the reply, it was exactly what I was looking for (no need to break out the measuring tape!). I know it was a weird question, but it was something that I don't ever recall being asked by anyone. I heard that the outer rooms do indeed have a larger island, with the overhang and two stools. Thanks again!

You are right: All of the BLT rooms on the outer part of the crescent are narrower at the entrance and widen a bit as you move toward the windows. All of these rooms have even room numbers. The rooms that are on the inside AND middle part of the crescent have the same curvature in reverse. These have room numbers ending in xx17, xx21, xx23, xx25, xx27, and xx29. However, there are some BLT rooms that have "normal" rectangular shapes. The inside rooms on BLT's north and south wings have rectangular shapes. These have room numbers ending in xx05, xx09, xx11, xx35, xx37, and xx41.

My son's room was on the outer crescent and it was as you described. He didn't care for it at all. Our room was on the inner crescent, and it was rectangular in shape.

I stayed in a 1 brm that narrowed at the kitchen....never even thought about it till now. Loved the stools at the island. DH and I always eat breakfast in and it was great sitting at the island.

Haha, yes it's Pingu, I it too. I just happened to see him on TV once while flipping through the channels and it caught my attention, I thought it was one of the cutest shows ever!
