Which Moderate?

which moderate resort would you stay at?
we've already stayed at CBR & CSR, but loved them both and would gladly stay again.
my family is me (girl, 16), my sister (19), my mom, and my dad. it will be july-august when we're there.
so would you say at CBR, CSR, POR, or POFQ?
[we have no interest in staying at the campgrounds]

We have stayed at all of them and our favorites are CBR and POR. So I would say to go to CBR again or if you want to try something new then go with POR! Both are great and have a lot to offer. Great pools, great food courts, and friendly CM's. There is a link to my review of each of them in my signature (with lots of pics!) if you want to take a look!

Coronado, because the pool there is my favorite! We've stayed there probably close to 10 times, twice just in October and November this year!

The only mod we havent' stayed at is CBR, so I can't comment on going back there again - but why not try something new? POFQ and POR are both wonderful, we've stayed at both and its hard to say which I like better. I guess I like the atmosphere a little better at POR (Alligator Bayou, not the Mansions), but I think transportation is better for POFQ, and the resort is smaller, so very quick walks to the pool and food court. Have fun!

I'd go to POR. We had a great location in the mansion section-Magnolia Terrace. It was next to the quiet pool, bus stop and the bridge over to main pool and main buildings beyond.
IMO the theming at this resort is fantastic. And it offers some extras like the boat to DTD, Carriage Rides, and evening entertainment in River Roost Lounge.
Bob Jackson puts on a great show for all ages.
We also like the food court here, and the resort is pretty centrally located.

I like FQ because of the size of the resort. I personally like how everything is so close, then you have the DTD boat and carriage rides along with sharing amenities at POR. Food court is great and then you just share buses with POR, occasionally don't if crowded time. Never had a bad stay there

Personally, we always pick the CSR -- it is just our home (eight stays now). We've not tried the others and it is highly unlikely that we would. If we had to pick one because CSR were not available, we always thought it would be the POFQ. But after visiting it and walking around the POFQ in September, we decided that it would not appeal to us as much as we thought it would; we found the pool very small and very busy and the hot tub way too small and add in the fact that there are no quiet pools, and it went off our radar screen. The one we would pick now if CSR were not available would be POR. We love POR's food court (although we don't care for their table service restaurant), the grounds are beautiful, they do have quiet pools, etc.

My daughter and I just returned from POR and we loved it. The landscape was beautiful. The pools were great. Easy boat ride to Downtown Disney.

Wherever you stay, you will have a great time.

POR is a beautiful resort and for us, the boat to DTD is a huge plus. Ending each day with a ride along the river back to our resort is a perfect way to relax after a very busy day!

Another vote for POR! We stayed two weeks ago and loved it, would definitely recommend. Walked through POFQ and were very unimpressed.

We have stayed at the CBR four years in a row but considered changing to another moderate. However, I didn't want to leave something that I knew we really really liked. So, we just keep going back to the CBR.

I've stayed at POR, POFQ and CB. I loved them all and would stay at any of them again. If I had to pick a favorite I would say POR. It is just so beautiful and peaceful at the resort. The mansion buildings are just gorgeous and the landscaping is beautiful. I also love the foodcourt there the best. Which theme do you like best out of the 4?

Definitely go with one of the Port Orleans resorts!!! They are both gorgeous - can't go wrong with either. POFQ is much smaller so every room is close to all the amenities. POR has absolutely gorgeous grounds. Both have the boat ride to DTD. They both have fun entertainment. I love them both!!! Good luck choosing and have a great trip!

Feel the same exact way. I have stayed at POFQ in the past (back when it was just Port Orleans) and loved it. We are staying there for our Sept. trip (kids and DH first time there) and are very excited. The other moderate that I really enjoy is POR, I just love the atmosphere and grounds to that resort. We are possibly going to be doing a trip in March and are trying to figure out which mod to choose from, since we are already staying at POFQ at the end of Sept, we want to try something new....I think I am leaning towards CBR because the pool and the Nemo rooms look awesome.
