just called to ask about adding the gift card promo to our ressies for the end of april- took all of 5 minutes to add it on! we have two rooms at POR for 3 adults, 1 2yo, so we have $1000 in gift cards coming our way!

i seriously did not expect it to be that easy!! now i can just continue to count down the days!!!

I did the same thing. I booked our 2010 vacation back in August with no pins or special offers. I called Disney yesterday and told them I wanted to modify my existing reservation to include the new offer. It took the castmember about 5 minutes. While I am still paying the same for the vacation package, I'll have a $500 gift card waiting on me when I arrive at the CBR!

k fill me in on this offer. i booked in october witha 40% off pin. now they're giving out gift cards....i presume if you use a pin you cant receive it?

I did the same thing today. It was very easy! I only had 4 nights booked because we are also doing the 3 night cruise so I added on another night to my reservation had to pay approximately $300 more but in return got another day at Disney and $200 extra spending money!! Wooo Hoooo! Gotta love it!

Lucky You! I called on Monday morning as soon as i saw it on Mousesavers, and the CM I ended up with took 40 (YES I SAID 40) minutes to add the code to my reservation. I had to tell her it was on the website. She didn't seem to even know about it. Oh well, I am happy to get some kind of discount anyway!

I have a Feb. reservation through Disney Travel Co. for 5 nights at CBR and 1 day passes (we have AP). I asked if they code apply the new promotion with the gc and they said no, you need to have booked 5 days of passes. Is that correct??? Thanks :)

To get the gift card, you have to pay full price for the room. You can run the numbers to see if it would be a better deal for you.

I just tried it online, your pass had to match the number of days booked, it would not allow me to change it.

Hi,
Helping my brother plan his first family vacation in April. For this promo, do you need to get a package with passes? They already have passes so if this is the case, they are better off with a room only.
Thx:goodvibes

Yes, the GC promo requires at least a 5 night stay, with at least 5 day passes--you can go longer and get passes for extra days but not for less.
