Everything is included with the exception of Alcohol and snacks for the shows. But all 3 of your daily meals are included in cruise price, and you can eat as MUCH as you'd like!!!!!

Just want to add that if you go to Palo (adults only) there is an additional fee per couple (nominal) plus tip. I believe that Palo is a do not miss destination for couples.

There is no reason to spend an extra penny for food on a DCL cruise unless you choose to. All meals in the main dining rooms, the fast food outlets on deck 9, and the "snacks" outside the nightclubs in the evenings and late night are included as are the pirate and dessert buffets. Sodas are free in the dining rooms and the beverage station on deck 9. Juices, tea, coffee, etc. are free.

What you can CHOOSE to spend money on:
Palo (adult only) restaurant $15 per person for brunch or dinner, $5 per person for high tea
Alcoholic beverages, smoothies, specialty coffees (at Cove Cafe)
Popcorn, candy outside of theatres (you don't need to do this; you can get snacks from deck 9 and take them with you!) or from room service
Sodas served in cans from any bar or room service
bottled water (again, not needed...ship's water is good!)

You are allowed to bring your own sodas, alcohol, etc. on board with you. If you take a bottle of wine into the dining room you will be charged a "corking fee," but your room host will supply a corkscrew and glasses and you can open it and pour it in your room at no charge.

Just tipping, but no charge for room service unless you order a "packaged" item (soda, chips, candy) or alcohol. We ordered cake of the day, Cheese plates and Breakfast every day and just tipped the server.

These are the same items that are charged no matter where you buy them. It is customary to tip the person who delivers your room service a couple dollars at your discretion.

we put in a large order each night for juices, cheese platters, fruits, and snacks and paid in one tip. We stored the stuff for the next morning in case the kids were hungry before we were all ready to go for breakfast.

You can take as much as you can carry on.. Has to be able to fit through the scanner (carryon size). But no specific "limit". I've seen people on the Disboards say they've carried on a case. DH carried on 72 cans of beer in a rolling cooler last year (shared some of course)

I will say that we brought a bit more than 2 bottles on board!

We brought...7 bottles of wine, beer (18 or 24 - I forgot) and 3 other bottles of alcohol. When they scanned my rolling cooler before entering the cruise terminal, the guy gave me a hard time and asked me if I was afraid they would run out of alcohol on the boat!

We did drink the wine (1 bottle each night between 3 adults) and did pretty good with a lot of the other beverages. We gave away a bit to some friends who were on their way to WDW at the end of the cruise.

I seriously enjoy just a cheap (under $10) bottle of wine so we saved a lot of $$ by doing this.

We never brought our bottles out of the room. We mixed or poured in our stateroom and carried it out. I had brought with really nice (and large) wine glasses as well as mugs for the mixed drinks.

No charge from Room service, Milk (which comes in small single serving cartons) was free. I can't remember if they had whole milk or just 1 or 2%. We generally got Skim.

We brought our WDW mugs for our drinks (we had just been at WDW) and I personally know many people who used other mugs to hold their mixed drinks (made from alcohol brought on board).

As for the wine glasses...we did not use them by the pools. We used them in the evening. I went to Pier 1 and found the largest, nicest looking wine glasses they had on clearance (I think they cost me $4 each). Right before dinner we would fill our glasses (1 bottle for the 3 glasses) and we would carry them with us as we walked about the ship and we also brought them into dinner. Our servers began to know that we would come to dinner with wine each night!

We figured we saved lots of $$$ by bringing our own booze with us this cruise. Last cruise we did not bring anything and we really did not drink anything either because I just can't bring myself to pay that much money for alcohol. I loved having the glass of wine each night this time!

No charge for milk from room service (please remember to tip your server) and you can also get milk from the deck 9 self-serve drink station.

We didn't bring our own wine glasses. We just went to a bar and asked for empty wine glasses. I haven't asked for others types of glasses, but I'm sure you can get them.
