Ack! June filling up?

I cannot find the rooms I am looking for in June. Are they really that full, and why? I've never had this problem. WL only has courtyard and up, CR only has the more expensive rooms also. So what am I missing? I am looking more around the middle of June.

Are you looking at the general rooms, or under a code or a discount? If you're looking with a discount, it could be that the rooms available with the discount are full, not all the rooms in that category. If you are looking at "rack" rates and they are full, then they may really be filling up for that time. Although, with the economy the way it is, I'd be surprised. Although, since you're looking at the lower cost rooms, I could understand that they would fill up first...

Also, can you change your dates around a bit? Sometimes that helps.

I wouldn't wait too long, though. You can always adjust your ressie if something pops up. As you know, summer is one of the busiest times and with the economy slightly recovering, I think those that put off a trip over the past year or so and saved up will be going in 2010

Even in October CR is only showing availability for theme park view and above...no wing rooms or bay lake view rooms!! Seems so early to be booked up!

The CR is a convention hotel, so quite often they will hold large blocks of rooms for the conventions booked there. As it gets closer to the actual event, the rooms that are not spoken for will be released to the public. So keep trying -- I hope you get what you want!

Actually I have already booked the theme park view, and now that I've done it, I'm not sure I can stand to change the ressie anyway! I have already gotten used to the thought of watching Wishes on the balcony!!

I am not one to book early. The only time I have has been last yr w/ the 7 for 5 offer and I booked it in Nov. for June. I have never had a problem getting what I want. It may not be my first choice of dates or the exact room type, but usually w/ in reason and nothing that irritated me. I was a bit irritated/frustrated. I just wasn't expecting that this far out. The good thing is we have all summer. Our 1st choice would be to be there for our 10 yr anniv (we were married at the Poly). Just wondering if I missed something big.
