I have a couple of questions. I got an e-mail about getting 5x my rewards from Oct. 1 to December 31st. I signed up online. When I got my statement last month, it was just the 1%. So I did it by the phone and then I called and talked to someone. HE said there was no way to check to see if I would get credit for October. Well, my last statement came and it is still just 1%. Do they wait until the end of the three months to make it 5 percent??? Also, We are taking a trip January 23rd. So I was going to get my card with the 20 or 25 (whatever the minimum was) and then put the balance of it while I was there. But will that mess up the 5x??? I feel like I better go ahead and order the card, so I can receive it before we leave.

it definitely takes longer than a month or two for the credit to be reflected on your statement. i don't see why adding rewards later (after you get the card) would mess up the 5X - the rewards will be added to your account and you can add however many you want to your rewards card.

Our 5X rewards can take up to 3 months to show up. We have never rec'd a 5X offer that did not list catagories and they always have a $$ amount you must exceed before you are eligible for extra rewards in the listed catagories.

There is a sticky on this offer in the budget section. The bonus 4% is posted afterwards. In past offers, I would receive the 4% say for Oct (actual month) on my November stmt. This offer I did not. I do not have categories this time as well. We had a threshold of $250 and the bonus is earned on those charges only. The regular disney are posted as usual. I hope that I recieve my bonus soon as well, we are going the beginning of Feb and I, too, charged quite a bit on the Disney Visa in order to get that bonus for the Feb trip. I thought I would have at least the Oct/Nov bonus by then, but now I'm not sure since one poster on that sticky said that Chase said it would be in a lump sum after the program ended. Who knows. Keep records of your charges though to make sure you get the correct bonus.

I signed up for this too. And when the extra points didn't show up I called - all bonus point will be reflected on your statement after the promotion is over. For me the promotion ends today (december 15th) so the bonus points should come through on my next statement! ** Should be a good one because I charged my oil bill through the gas station!!!** Woo Hoo.

Also remember there is a maximum you can earn - there was a 100 point bonus limit. I think this is on all these offers, but I could be wrong.

So get your card now - because there's no telling how long it will take to get it. Don't worry about them multiplying the points you already have - it's almost like the bonus points are banked and once the promotion period ends they will be pushed onto your account. But get the card and just have them added once they show up.

You can have points added almost immediately by just calling.

just so you know the promo timeframe is on ACTUAL month 1st through month end to earn the bonus, not your statement date. Also, our limit on the bonus portion is $200 this offer. All my offers in the past had the $100 limit on the bonus though.

Just wondering, has anyone received any of these offers or the 3 times lately? I haven't in a long while. I think since they have the pay for Disney Visa they may have stopped these offers. Thanks!
