Question about Beach Club

How long does it take to walk from the Beach Club to the Boardwalk Inn and how long would it take to walk to Epcot from the Beach Club.

I am starting to plan for my next Disney trip and I can't decide between Beach Club, Yacht Club and Boardwalk Inn. All these choices are confusing.:confused3

Ok, sometimes I'm bad on time estimates, but Beach Club to BW is maybe 10-15 min? And Beach Club to EPCOT shouldn't be more than 10 -- if you wind up on the EPCOT end of the Beach Club it'll be even faster.

I have not stayed at the BW, but the Beach Clbu is completely one of my favorites. The decor is so lovely and it is closer to EPCOT than the YC - which I always liked.

I vote Beach Club! :)

bc to epcot about 5 minutes.

bc to bwi somewhere between 5 and maybe 10 minutes (10 would be the max for super slow walkers)

all the epoct resorts are very nice, hope you enjoy your trip.:)

No question that the Beach Club is the most convenient of the 3 Epcot resorts you mentioned. The 5 minute walk to Epcot's International Gateway cannot be beat whether it is to go into the park for the day or just walk over to the bakery in France. Yummy. :thumbsup2

The Beach Club for sure.

Minimal walking time to International Gateway, Boardwalk and of course the Yacht Club. The decor is relaxed and fun and the convenience of Cape May and Beaches and Cream being in the same resort is great.

Also it is sooooooo much shorter of a walk to have your mugs refilled at the Marketplace from the Beach then they Yacht.

We found the Yacht Club a bit stuffy (and I personally stayed there twice in a 6 month period this year) compared to the more relaxed feel of the Beach Club.

I don't find too many people singing the praises of the BWI. That is another resort that we have considered and I just don't hear much about it.

For me the decision is easy. We love the BC, but for others I think the decision between BC and BWI comes down to one thing, Stormalong Bay. If you are going to pay the exact same amount of money for almost the exact same location then to me it's a total no brainer to stay at the resort with the better pool area. I mean there is no comparing the BC/YC pool and the BWI pool. It's not even close.

I view the BC/YC and BWI as one massive resort in which you can enjoy all of the amenities (dining, entertainent, transportation, the ESPN Club etc.) except for one, Stormalong Bay. That one amenity that isn't shared is more then enough to make my decision for me.

We have stayed two times at the BWI and absolutely love the resort. You are questioning how close the Epcot resorts are to the Epcot International Gateway. There is no question that the BC is the right next door. However you can easily walk to Epcot from any of the Epcot resorts. The BWI is the the on the other end of the lake, but it is still at most a ten minute walk. The BWI is closer to the Studios.

BC wins by far. Stormalong bay, as a pp mentioned, and it's easily the closest to Epcot.

I have stayed at each of BC, YC and BW on multiple occasions.

With respect to proximity to resorts, there is no question that BC is the closest to the IG entrance to Epcot, but it is only a couple hundred yards closer than either YC or BW, so that hardly makes a difference in the big picture. In addition, YC and BC are each closer to their respective boat docks for the boat to DHS than BC is to the boat dock (for that matter, BW is significantly closer to DHS than either BC or YC if one wants to walk to DHS).

All three resorts are very nice. The YC lobby is much quieter than the BC lobby (so if that makes the YC "stuffy" and the BC "kid friendly", give me stuffy every time). I recently stayed at BW with a friend who had never stayed at BW before, but had previously stayed at all the other WDW deluxe resorts. He felt that BW was nicer than any other deluxe resort except GF.

In the end, they are all great resorts and you can't go wrong with any of them.
