December 2009 ADR Cancelled thread - READ 1st Post BEFORE POSTING!

New policy for threads - Trade/Transfer/Wanted posts are no longer allowed. Since Disney no longer allows transferring of reservations to new names, we will no longer support trading of ADRs.

If you and another poster choose to call Disney at the same time to attempt to reclaim a cancellation that is fine and outside of the boards.

Only Cancellation Notice Posts will be allowed going forward. Wanted posts will be deleted without comment.

Thank you for understanding the reason for this change.

This is perfect! Just want to add that when giving a time that you're canceling an ADR, you should also let everyone know what time zone you're in.

I think they cleaned up the sticky thread a bit since it was so long and most of the old stuff was not longer valid anyway. But also because they kept reminding people of the rules of not requestiong a reservation, only allowed to state you are canceling and if someone wants to try to coordinate a pcik up from what you canceled, then so be it. Personally I think sometimes it was a honest mistake. People making an off handed comment about trying for a certain reservation and not getting it, not someone posting begging for you to offer them your reservation etc. But they have rules to follow I guess so they must!

Unfortunately we're using the resort transportation which doesn't start running till 8am, hopefully someone else can use it

December 2nd - Fantasmic Package @ Hollywood & Vine
4:10 PM - 2A

December 5th - Rainforest Cafe @ Animal Kingdom
6:45 PM - 2A

December 6th - Liberty Tree Tavern
8:15 PM - 2A & 1C

Depends on the day, if it's an EMH morning then the bus will start running at 7am. Otherwise you'd need to take a taxi. Just check to see what time the park is opening that morning and the first bus will come an hour before that.

I was just told on another thread that buses run an hour BEFORE the first scheduled priority seating. So if the seatings start at 8 a.m., buses start running at 7 a.m.

Well I've definitely never tried it so I can't say for sure, but that was the information we got from the people on the phone at Disney Dining this year and last year (about them running an hour before park opening). I double checked to make sure as we've avoided some early morning ressies because of this. If it's different then they should tell people

I had similar luck with the Rainforest Cafe in DTD, they had plenty of times available lol.
