3/17 Update Day 13 of our 14 day! DISUnplugged PODCAST CRUISE and a rainy week at WDW

This is quite possibly the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I have tears in my eyes! What a WONDERFUL memory! I love the idea too of taking him in there and holding his hand to help him draw....love it.

Awww! Thanks Brook! I really was scared about taking him in.....I really thought he would disrupt the class! So glad I did it though, he really didn't make much of a peep, and a great free souvenir!

I made the trip report again!!! I swas urprised to turn to my left and see you!!! :cool1:

It was a fun show which surprised me a little bit. I was expecting it to be really lame. We were sitting up really close and could see the wigs on the judges so next time I want to sit a little further back. :lmao:

I wish, you could make my TR everyday! How are you!?! How is your dad feeling?
Wow, I didn't even notice the wigs, but yeah, the show was a lot of fun!

I don't know how I missed your last post....

waiting for more...

Hey Natalie! Sorry, I tend to try to post one chapter a week, but last week I know I didn't get around to it! Maybe there will be a twofer this week. It is hard to keep up with FB, my Designs, work full time (where I do not have access to the boards or FB) and taking care of Aaron! I am having a small surgery (gum graft) on Thursday so maybe I can get some extra time to put some more up Thursday night!

Aaron and I head out to the buses. We are waiting in the Poly line and Aaron is getting a bit antsy. It is hot in the sun and the TTC bus is pulling up! So we hop over to that line and go to the TTC. I am not sure exactly where this bus will drop us off at the TTC but at least we will be on an air conditioned bus!

Aaron really hams it up for a "grandma" sitting across from us. We chat and soon we are at the TTC! I call Jason to find out where they are and they are sitting back by the beach overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. It was a short walk over to the Poly! Glad I took the first bus!

We walk through the great ceremonial house and I see that one of the activities in the lobby is just getting over so I ask a cm if I could get a lay.

We meet Dada and Nana at the beach! Aaron was deathly afraid of sand the summer he was one, now we can't get him out of it! He immediately runs to the beach.
100_3660.jpg

And I strike up a conversation with someone that is leaving on the Wonder tomorrow! I don't even know how the conversation started, or who started it. All I remember was she was talking to me forever, while Aaron played at my feet with the sand! She of course was a newbie for cruising and asked me a million and one questions, halfway through, I was really wishing Jason would come over and SAVE ME! But he didn't! I guess, I looked like I was having too much fun talking to her and Dada and Nana were enjoying watching Aaron play in the sand. When she finally was done talking to me I took some pictures of Aaron!
(I can't wait until the day I no longer have a point and shoot camera!)

100_3661.jpg

100_3662.jpg

We really love these next two pics: (see the castle?)
100_3663.jpg

100_3665.jpg

100_3667.jpg

Time to take the Monorail over to the Contemporary for our 6:20 ADR at Chef Mickey's!
100_3669.jpg

We head in and check in a wee bit early. There was a bit of a wait. I believe we got seated close to 7.
(I think there is something about Aaron that makes me forget to take food porn pictures :)...or maybe I don't take pictures of food that I have already taken a picture of? This is our 2nd time eating at Chef Mickey's.)

Pluto is the 1st one to our table:
Aaron is scared!
100_3671.jpg

Goofy is next:
100_3673.jpg

Goofy decides to imitate Aaron:
100_3674.jpg

(I love this picture and how Aaron's eyes just pop out from between his arms!)

Donald Duck:
100_3675.jpg

He musta heard it through the grapevine:
100_3676.jpg

(I think Donald does a much better impression of Aaron)

Ut Oh! It is the Dreaded Minnie Mouse!!!! When we first took Aaron here he cried (Check earlier in my PTR to see the picture)
100_3677.jpg

Nana is a good buffer, she is still blocking Minnie from me right?
100_3678.jpg

100_3680.jpg

Finally time for the BIG CHEESE!
100_3683.jpg

(WOW! Aaron is not Shy!)

Mickey motioned about liking Aaron's shirt! And Aaron was enamored!
100_3685.jpg

(He couldn't take his eyes off of Mickey!)

Jason and I were going to go to MK and add Park hopping to our tickets tonight...but we felt that the 100 dollars xtra was not worth it. It started raining a little and we just really wanted to spend time with Aaron we missed him like crazy!
So we all head back to Pop!
Waiting in line for the bus, these ducks aren't afraid!
100_3687.jpg

Someone was pooped! I don't think he had a nap today!
100_3688.jpg

100_3690.jpg

He was drooling!
100_3694.jpg

What are these things...I mean I think they are for luggage, but por que?
100_3692.jpg

We got surprises when we got back to our rooms!

Aaron is so adorable on the beach! The pics of him with the castle in the background are definitely postcard material

I think it was so great that you met Jamie on this trip - I've never been blessed with the opportunity (yet) but she truly is a sweetheart and it was very special of her to take you and Jason under her wings, so to speak, to make you feel comfortable on the cruise. She definitely is a celebrity! But now you and Jason are celebrities in your own right so I would love to meet you too sometime in the future - I'm sure you would make me feel comfortable (as I'm pretty shy and tend to stay in the back when there's a crowd.)

Uggg! Sounds like your life is crazier then mine!!! Good luck with surgery... sounds like fun! :flower3:

I loooove those sleeping pictures. His cheeks all squishy on Daddy's shoulder, and the legs curled up so the butt sticks out - and the drooling down his back!!! So adorable! :lovestruc Even the drool, because it's a sweet little baby's and funny!!!

The beach pictures are great too! Glad to see Aaron was lovin' Mickey! He seems pretty curious about Donald there too. :goodvibes

Awww! Thanks! I really like Aaron's beach pictures too! The sad thing is...this pictures were taken with a good ole point and shoot 4.0 MP camera! I can't imagine what they would look like when I get that camera of my dreams!

It is funny, cause Jaime and I actually met before...we both live very close to Chicago and we met at a DIS meet at the Doorway to Dreams store at the Woodfield Mall back in May of 2008! A whole year before we actually met! Yes, she definitely welcomed us right in! It was great!!! She said she knew we were cool because at the Meet in May of 2008 we were wearing shirts from Epcot's 25th Anniversary! Wow! Jason and I are celebrities:eek:! I kinda like it! I think Brandie called us or at least me a Rock Star, I kinda liked it :).

Ooohh! I would love to meet you too! And I would definitely make you very comfortable! I am pretty shy at first, but I still always give hugs! And I would bring you out to the front for that HUG! Everybody needs a hug, right Tonya?!?

It is pretty crazy..oh and we are going to Arizona on Friday for Jason's brothers wedding, but I doubt crazier than yours! My mouth is healing quite well! I am sorry you didn't get that job, but glad you got the job at the Disney Store YAY!!

Hi Brook! Yes, I love the sleeping pictures too! I couldn't stop taking pictures of him all tuckered out! I am glad he was loving Mickey too, as he is named after the mouse! Aaron Mickey :). Wow! I didn't even notice that about Donald Duck! I went back and looked at the pictures and you were right!

We went to Aaron's 1st concert yesterday and saw the Imagination Movers! It was such a great show! Aaron had a ball and as soon as it was over he looked up at me and said, "Fun Fun!" Then he turned to the stage and waved and said, "Bye, Movers!"

Pre-Trip Plans: Today we will be going to Magic Kingdom with Aaron and Nana! What will we be doing here? AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!! I am a little saddened that TTA will be down as we got some really cute pictures of Aaron on the TTA in September and would have liked to get more to compare how much he has grown. We will be getting his picture next to Pooh's house.

We will be eating lunch at the Colombia Harbor house so Jason can get his Disney Chicken Nuggets!!

We will take the boat over to Fort Wilderness around 5pm so we will be there for our dinner reservations at Trails End Buffet. We ate here on our last trip and LOVED IT!!! It is soooo good and such a good value!

After dinner we will go to Chip and Dales Sing-a-long like we did last time! It was a good time and hope Nana likes it!

Jason and I wake up and head over to the MK! We get there right as the train is pulling away and the gates are open for the beginning of the day!
Wow! We look tired! (And this is the only Photopass picture we took today! We really didn't utilize Photopass as much as we should have this trip)
Image57.jpg

We like to head to the back of the park. Since, many head to Fantasyland and since Aaron and Nana aren't with us yet, we head to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to maybe get a Fastpass. But of course there is literally no wait, so we get on the coaster and when the ride is done, there is still hardly anyone waiting to board, so they ask us if we just want to stay on and go again, of course! I think we may have went around for a 3rd time, but I don't remember now. We hop off of Big Thunder and head over to Splash to get a Fastpass for later, but the Fastpass return time is 10:00 AM, and it is 9:20 or so by now. So we decide to just ride it now! We never get that wet anyway.
Next we head over to the Haunted Mansion since Nana and Aaron haven't called us yet. On the way over to the HM we see Donald dressed as Davy Crockett. I tell Jason to get his picture taken with him! He declines. He later tells me that he can pose so that I can just photoshop Donald Duck into the pictures! Oh yeah, that sounds like fun! We run with it!
Here is our 1st pose on the way to HM
100_3697.jpg

donaldandjason2.jpg

Then before we ride Haunted Mansion.
100_3699.jpg

JasonandDonaldcopy.jpg

Nana calls us as we are about to board our Doombuggy and they meet us by where else? it's a small world! We board a boat for our adventure with the dolls of the world! Once....twice....three times! Ok running total is now up to 10! We head over and ride Pooh! On our way we snap this pic!
100_3700.jpg

(I don't know why more people take the picture from this side of the sword...it makes for such a pretty picture. I mean the carousel is pretty too, but um....how can you compete with the castle :).

And it is time for some lunch! Well, we already ate at CHH on Thursday so we opt for Pinocchio's Village Haus. I can't remember if I like the pizza or not, but I think this would be a fun place to Aaron to eat considering how much he likes it's a small world! We are waiting outside of the restaurant a little before 11am and a castmember informs us that they aren't ready yet. We finally realize it is open and the castmember standing outside the door and who is still standing at the door never informed us! Luckily, there was still a booth next to the window over looking it's a small world!
100_3704.jpg

100_3703.jpg

(wow, Jason looks extremely tired! Don't you always have to take a vacation from your vacation!)
100_3705.jpg

I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED TO TAKE A FOOD PIC! I really do think it has to do with the fact that I already have pictures of the other food that I forgot to take pictures of...not a matter or forgetting just a matter of duplicating, if that makes any sense. Who really needs two pictures of chicken strips? Oh yeah! That's right, maybe you do need two pictures of chicken strips! One picture would be of actual chicken strips, and the next picture would be of chicken nuggets! LOL!
Without further ado the food porn!
100_3701.jpg

(Are those Disney Chicken Nuggets I spy in the top right corner, but of course!)

Aaron and I actually really LOVED the pizza, and we are from Chicago!! GASP!! I can't wait to have some more! Does this make me crazy?

Donald wants some yogurt!
100_3706copy.jpg

Ooohh! I would love to meet you too! And I would definitely make you very comfortable! I am pretty shy at first, but I still always give hugs! And I would bring you out to the front for that HUG! Everybody needs a hug, right Tonya?!?

Indeed!!! Just ask Tracy Whipple ;)

Indeed!!! Just ask Tracy Whipple ;)

Hi Tonya!

:lmao: Great idea!!

LOL! And it all came from the fact that Jason didn't want to get his picture taken with frontier Donald! :lmao:

You are a saint!!!!

I kinda like iasw too! My Grandma and Grandpa had to put up with me going on it 20 times in a row when I was two too! :rotfl:

My first thought when I saw this was, "Did they move the Sword in the Stone?" :rotfl: Then I realized, duhhhh....GOOD IDEA! It just never even occurred to me. It looks WAY cool, like he is the prince of the castle!

I know I love it from this side!!

This one might be my favorite! :lmao:

Just wait, there are more to come!popcorn::

So, of course we stopped at iasw for three more times through! Dada and Nana stopped off to ride Haunted Mansion while Aaron and I moseyed on into Frontierland. We were heading to Tom Sawyer's Island!

Jason and I think Aaron will love the island as Aaron really is into playing fort/tent and being in caves. We take the raft over to the island and Aaron is kinda unsure of the raft. Once we get on the island we head right to a cave and when we were half way thru a realize that Aaron isn't really liking this a whole lot! Oh well we made it out, and then we go see the fort! He really enjoyed this area and had a blast running around! Unfortunately, both cameras were with Dada so I had to wait until Dada and Nana met us on the island. By the time they caught up with us we had been around the entire island and found our way to the top where the playground is or in Aaron's eyes Heaven :cloud9:! I am uploading a video to Youtube of this as we speak. Here it is!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CzMw_H2dV0

Pretty waterfall.
100_3707.jpg

I like this picture!
100_3708.jpg

Still have yet to go on the Riverboat! I swear the next time I go, I am going on this!
100_3709.jpg

Aaron loved the barrel bridge he was squealing with delight, and he actually did fairly well on it keeping his balance!
100_3710.jpg

100_3711.jpg

100_3712.jpg

Walking down the steps.
100_3713.jpg

I really like this picture of the castle, if only I had a better camera so the castle wasn't so washed out!
100_3714.jpg

100_3715.jpg

Riding the raft back to the mainland.
100_3716.jpg

We head over and ride Pirates of the Caribbean. Aaron actually seems to like this ride and is not afraid of it. At least that is what he portrays. I remember this ride from when I was small and I did not like it one bit. The whole skeleton steering the boat with the wind and the two ships battling made me rather frightened!

Time for a snack!
Dada and Nana of course get Dole Whip floats, but I have to get my Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich! I really hope that Nestle will still be giving us their cookies, even though the coffee contract is coming to a close :scared:

Dada didn't worn me a have chocolate on my chin! :sad2:
100_3717.jpg

Enjoying our tasty snack!
100_3718.jpg

It is pretty warm out and Aaron is pretty worn out so we decide to go see Country Bears! :dance3::yay::dance3: Now I know a lot of people don't care for this but I love old Disney! And who can't love this lil bear!
100_3719.jpg

(she makes me smile every time!)

Aaron is pretty wiped out so we head to our favorite place in MK to nap, the Exposition Town hall.
expo10.jpg

We sit and watch old cartoons for a while, but Aaron can't get comfy so I decide to lay on a park bench with him and soon enough he falls asleep, and so do Mama's legs!
100_3721.jpg

100_3722.jpg

Once Aaron wakes up it is almost time to take the boat over for our ADR at Trails End Buffet! :woohoo: This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of WDW!
Gotta take one more pic before heading out of the park.

It is ok! I don't know how many updates I will do, but maybe I will get done with the trip report by the end of December if I give it the ol college try! In a way I don't want to be done! Hope you enjoyed reading my DCL part again, if you did ;).

And we are off to Trails End Buffet and Fort Wilderness!

When we arrive we want to go check out the petting zoo.
100_3729.jpg

Unfortunately it was closed because there was a race or something that went on at Fort Wilderness that day. So we moseyed on over to Trails End.
100_3728.jpg

Aaron really loved running in the open field!
100_3730.jpg

100_3731.jpg

100_3732.jpg

We check in and get seated immediatley! Bring on the food!!
100_3735.jpg

And I cleaned my plate! I love me some comfort food!!

Aaron was enjoying coloring! He loves to color!
100_3734.jpg

But in the midst of coloring he discovered a new game.
100_3737.jpg

He is trying so hard to get the crayon tip in the end of the straw.
100_3738.jpg

HE DID IT!!!
100_3740.jpg

He was very proud of himself!
100_3741.jpg

A very Yummy meal was had at the Trails End and now we have the rest of the night to decide on what to do! We were going to go to the Sing-a-long campfire but we decided we would go back to Pop and just relax and swim in the pool! Aaron really enjoyed the pool the one night we got to do it on our trip in Sept of 08. First we decide to play on the playground here before heading back.

Gotta get on the bugspray! They were out in full force!
100_3742.jpg

Aaron loving the slide!
100_3744.jpg

Dada tickles! Upside down!
100_3746.jpg

100_3747.jpg

So...it is starting to rain! Oh no, guess we won't be going to the pool when we get back to Pop. We decide that we will use our free 30 minutes of arcade time instead. Unfortunately, you couldn't use the free time to play ticketed games, but I guess that makes sense.

Aaron did not like this ride!
100_3749.jpg

Air Hockey time! He really enjoyed this though!
100_3751.jpg

And of course he liked driving the car!
100_3752.jpg

Back in the foodcourt for a quick late night snack.

Aaron watching some tv!
100_3755.jpg

He must have been deprived!
100_3757.jpg

Old school Donald will finish off that Popsicle!
100_3760copy.jpg

Tomorrow Nana and Aaron leave to go home :(. They will be going back to the MK and Jason and I are headed to the AK. Will it be Animal Kingdom Hot?

I somehow missed your reply to me from a while back - this is ADORABLE! Love it!! I wish the Movers were coming around here, but last time I checked their schedule they weren't. And we get the PRINCESS Disney on Ice. :headache: But, I'm still tempted for Disney on Ice, Henry wouldn't care! Not sure if we'll be able to swing it, but it's tempting!! :goodvibes

100_3710.jpg

Dada didn't worn me a have chocolate on my chin! :sad2:
100_3717.jpg

100_3721.jpg

Love the pics on the island! We haven't taken Henry over there yet, I think he'd probably have similar reactions. Perhaps something we will get to do in 23 days! :goodvibes

I chucked at the chocolate on the chin - not because you have chocolate on your chin, but because Joe would do the exact same thing - he wouldn't tell me, because he wouldn't NOTICE. :sad2: Men!

Great shot of you two on the bench. It's crazy what we do for our babies, isn't it? :lovestruc

Thanks for the review on Trails End! From the few reviews I have read, they have always been positive. I've gotta keep it on the short list for future trips.

LOVE the pic of Aaron running across the field. Nothing beats that for little kids.

And the pic of him with the straw and crayon just cracks me up!!! Adorable!!! I can very much see Henry doing the exact same thing.

Running through a field, doing a crayon trick AND driving a car? I bet he was in heaven!!!

I like Nana's shirt, very cute. :goodvibes

The Donald shot is great! How did you get Aaron to look too??? :rotfl2:

Funny story about Nana's shirt:
This was the first shirt I ever sort of designed online, before I came acorss the wonderful world of Photoshop and the creative design threads here on the DIS. I made the shirt through some shirt making place like Vistaprint ( I don't remember which one now) They have all the clip-art that you can choose from. Well anyways, Jason and I like to go to the salvation army or goodwill alot. One time when we were at one of the stores we found a bunch of different sizes of the same shirt that said World's Greatest Fishing Grandpa. Jason said we should get these and all wear them to Great America :rotfl:. I told him no, but later on when I was making these shirts you can design the back too for no extra cost so here is the back.
100_3728.jpg

It might be hard to see but it says World's Greatest Then the fish in the middle and the bottom says Fishing Grandpa's! Yeah we are weird! The funny thing is I made these shirts for our trip in Sept of 08 and I made so many shirts after I found out about Iron-ons and the creative design forum that we didn't even wear those shirts! :rotfl: But Nana still wears hers proudly! :thumbsup2

Awww! That stinks that the Movers aren't going to MN. Maybe they don't like the cold! :confused3 You don't get the Celebrations On Ice either? You poor thing!

Love the pics on the island! We haven't taken Henry over there yet, I think he'd probably have similar reactions. Perhaps something we will get to do in 23 days! :goodvibes

Oh yes! Definitely try to make it over there with him!

I chucked at the chocolate on the chin - not because you have chocolate on your chin, but because Joe would do the exact same thing - he wouldn't tell me, because he wouldn't NOTICE. :sad2: Men!

Yeah, he didn't notice! :rotfl2:

Great shot of you two on the bench. It's crazy what we do for our babies, isn't it? :lovestruc

Yes it is! But I love every minute of it! I don't think he is going to want to sleep on me when he is 18 :sad1:

Thanks for the review on Trails End! From the few reviews I have read, they have always been positive. I've gotta keep it on the short list for future trips.
You definitely have to get over there! The price is very reasonable! :scared1: And it is really good food! It is honestly one of my favorite restaurants on Disney property!! Especially for a buffet. I think the only buffet that might beat it is Boma, but the food is so vastly different that you really can't compare. But if you are on the Dining pLan you should pay for this one out of pocket it is that cheap! :thumbsup2

LOVE the pic of Aaron running across the field. Nothing beats that for little kids.

Yep, definitley in heaven! How can he not be he is in Disney! :yay::yay::dance3::banana::banana:

The Donald shot is great! How did you get Aaron to look too??? :rotfl2:
I think Aaron looked because he was eyeing the Popsicle! He wanted more! :lmao:

Our last Pre-Trip Planned Day:
Jason and I will be going to Animal Kingdom today....but Aaron and Nana leave Hope they had fun and we will see them again in 3 days.

So must dos:

Finding Nemo Musical, WE LOVE IT!!
Pocahontas and her forest friends!! I LOVE IT! Oh wait...its gone! At least I have it on HD video, with a really good Pocahontas!!
Expedition Everest of course!
NOT the river rapids ride, don't want our feet to be cut off, I just listened to that podcast recently
I wanna try to go to Rafikis Planet Watch this time, because we didnt get to go on our last trip in September.
And maybe finally see Devine!! I have yet to ever see her, and maybe Flights of Wonder, the last time we tried to see this show, it started raining halfway through and never did see the whole thing.

We will be eating an 11:00 lunch at Tusker House this is a new restaurant for us, we were going to do Yak and Yeti but after Pete giving it a really bad review we decided against it!

We will be eating at Boma tonight for dinner, I think this has to be Jasons all time favorite restaurant. I think every time we have gone to Disney since we started enjoying the restaurants we have had to eat here every time. We were going to go to Jiko, since Aaron won't be with us, and we probably won't take him into Jiko til he is around 8 at the earliest? But we decided against Jiko, since we don't want to have to take the bus from AK back to Pop to change out of park clothes and then go to Jiko. We just wanted to be dressed up for Jiko!!

We head over to Animal Kingdom, without Aaron or Nana. :sad1: They head over to the MK and this is the only day Jason and I have scheduled for the Animal Kingdom, plus Aaron and Nana have to leave around 4 to catch magical express.

We get to Animal Kingdom and are there for Rope Drop! Why is AK the only place we are ever at Rope Drop for? Well, Ok we have been at HS rope drop once, and Epcot and MK's we have just missed twice.

One tired Mama!

We head over and grab FP for EE but we realize that the line is super short, so after we grab the FP we head into the line. We actually ended up getting to sit front row! The track end really lets you see far when you are in the front row! After our ride we head over to Nemo, but the 1st show isn't until 10 so we head over and do Dinosaur.
100_3765.jpg

I don't know why, but this ride really freaks me out! I love it! I guess I love the thrill of being scared!
100_3764.jpg

We see Finding Nemo at 10! Great show per usual and as usual gets Jason verklempt! I think this must have been our 4th time seeing the show.
100_3763.jpg

We head over to our ADR for Tusker House and the Heavens open up and everyone runs to the cover that is next to the check in podium! Took us forever to get seated, but at least we weren't out in the torrential downpour!

Jason takes a picture and pretends like he doesn't know me.
100_3766.jpg

Strangers in the night...:rolleyes1

We have never ate at Tusker House before and we were pleasantly surprised! This restaurant is definitely on par with Boma! :thumbsup2 (oh and see those lovely things hidden on my plate? They have Corn Dog Nuggets! That is for you Brook!! They are at the kid station though so hopefully they will still have them in the future.)

This girl can Eat! I had two or three plates this size! I don't remember how many, but I know it was at least two!
100_3767.jpg

And me desserts!
100_3768.jpg

I went up and got about 6 more of those cookies they were to die for!...Oh and the bread pudding wasn't too shabby either!

After our meal we call Nana to see how her and Aaron our doing. She said they have just been in a constant loop for it's a small world, but they are going on it one more time and then they are heading back to Pop. Making it Aaron's 19th time of going on it's a small world this trip! I hope he enjoys the other rides more when we go back in October! :rotfl2:

I am not really sure what order we did things as this trip was forever ago now! 7 months ago to the day actually! But I do know the rain let up just enough so we finally saw a full show of Flights of Wonder! Excellent! I love how the birds just fly right above you, but yet don't hit you!

Jason loves Coke so I told him to rub his belly.
100_3771.jpg

We went on the Safari and the highlight of this particular Safari ride was seeing a Black Rhino run at full speed! That was spectacular. I can't believe I don't have any pictures, I wonder if I have a video?

We never did see Devine....hoping that I spot her in the bushes.

We headed over to Rafiki's planet watch, but it was kind of a let down. We went into the rainforest listening rooms, but they weren't as cool as the 1st time we heard them. Maybe we were just tired from our trip, but we rushed through Rafiki's and then we headed over to ride EE one more time.

We stopped at a Photopass Photographer and got these shots taken

Then the photographer said to pretend that we are a Yeti:

(I think Jason heard pretend that you are riding EE :rotfl2: I look really weird in the picture now, Thanks!)

We ride once more and head back to Pop if we make it we might surprise Aaron and Nana before they get on ME back to the airport!
We see them in the Pop Gift Shop! Nana bought Aaron a Tigger hat:

Aaron was obsessed this trip with doing the buckles on his stroller:

My baby is leaving but at least I get to see him again in 3 days! :cheer2:

Waiting for ME and playing with the blocks.

Aaron and Nana are gone. Dada and Mama aren't going to their Boma ADR because they would have to pay for it out of pocket, but we do have an extra counter service now and we haven't gone to DTD yet! Also we had a HUGE lunch at Tusker House and the food at Tusker House is a lot like Boma.

So we hop on a bus to Downtown Disney and check out the stores. Tren-D is new to us this trip so we spend some time looking in here. We also spend a lot of time in the Art of Disney store. We love looking at all the treasures :). And of course looking at Pins! I love that store there! We were looking at pins to see if there were any that we or I would like to buy and we came across a Phineas and Ferb pin, we decided we would hold off on buying it and literally 3 minutes later I traded a pin with a CM that had the Phineas and Ferb pin! :thumbsup2 I buy lots of Disney pins on Ebay for around 1.80 a pin and trade the ones I don't care for with the CM's. I just really trade for fun and seeing all the different pins that are out there! While we were in the pin store I was eyeing some bags to keep my growing collection of pins. And Jason had a Birthday Fun Card burning a hole in his pocket so he used some of his gift card and bought me:

Now I have a place to keep my 200+ pins!

We are getting hungry! We want to go to Wolfgang Puck Express so we go to stand in line. The line is out the door! Eek! The couple in front of us was quarreling and got out of line! Hooray! I couldn't decide on what I wanted to eat, but I knew I wanted Creme Brulee!

Jason ordered the Italian Sausage and Roasted Red Pepper Pizza
with spinach and garlic-basil pesto sauce, fresh thyme and chili flakes - $13.95
100_3780.jpg

I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Melt
spicy all-natural chicken, onions, sauteed read and yellow peppers and oven-roasted tomatoes tossed with tortilla sauce, topped with mozzarella, rolled in a warm, all-natural garlic focaccia bread. - $10.95
100_3779.jpg

And for dessert we both ordered the:
Creme Brulee - $3.95

Yum these were HUGE!

My meal was just ok, if we were to go back I would definitely get something else. Jason really liked his pizza though and it really is a great value for a CS credit!

I honestly don't remember what we did the rest of the night. I remember walking through the Westside and through ex PI just to take it all in. Maybe we actually rested up because tomorrow morning we check into Boardwalk Villas! :woohoo:

Corn dog nuggets! :faint: Were they as good as Casey's? I have heard many great things about Tusker House, we have to try it next trip!

The EE/Yeti pic cracks me up! :lmao:

Henry is quite into working the buckles on his stroller or any grocery cart - I don't mind, buckle yourself in baby! ::yes:: Now you can't get out!!! He he he! :rolleyes1 ;)

Henry was sitting on my lap earlier when I read this update, he really likes Aaron's hat! I do too! :goodvibes

And Jason had a Birthday Fun Card burning a hole in his pocket so he used some of his gift card and bought me:

Very sweet about the pin case!!! He used his birthday card on you! :lovestruc

Love WPE's creme brulee....yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Back in January when we stayed at SSR I ate there TWICE and neither time they had any! :sad2: I had to make up for that in September. And perhaps again in a few days...!

I have gotten one of those wrap things and while they look good, and sound good, I was less than impressed with mine too. However, the MuShu Chicken pocket or the chicken salad - YUM! Very, very, very good! Crud, I so want WPE right now!!!!!!
