Awesome! Pretty neat to see a couple of my designs out in the wild. They printed nice. Thanks for posting.

LOVE LOVE LOVE The Survivor One!!! We are true fans of the show, since the very first episode, would LOVE to have one of those, do you remember whose design it is??

Sure do, it is mine lol. I made a few 2 years ago (survivor, LGM, and a few I had to throw away because they had dates lol), then we had to cancel...grrr...now they finally made it on board after being stuck to my closet door for 2 years lol. I remember saving a template with everything except the family name, I'll look it up for you and post asap.

Found it. Here you go. Just need to add your family name. Enjoy. ;)
(ps, the red parts are meant to be cut off, so it looks like the page is rolling up)

Does anyone know (HiddenMickeys or anyone else) what size the Mickey Ears and Hat have to be in order to properly frame the stateroom number plate?

Thanks!

They need to fit a 7.5" diameter circle. You can cut one from paper to make sure they are going to fit. HTH! :)

How do we get the CC and DVC magnets?

Also, does everyone feel it is safe to put our kids's names on the outside of our room? And what about message boards where we write where we're going??? Or am I just being overly paranoid? My oldest will be old enough in Disney's eyes to walk around the boat by herself, but in my eyes I'm still a tad scared of that. :confused3

These are all so cool. Ours was very boring (only the DVC magnet) I will do more this time.

What we did with our kids (17 and 14) was just lay down the law:
1. Neither of them goes ANYWHERE without the other. Period. If one wanted to leave the teen club, they both had to leave.

2. When going to the room (together) if they saw ANYONE in the hallways walking toward them, they were to stand their ground and NOT open the stateroom door until the person/people, had passed and were a good distance away. This prevents some bad guy from "bum rushing" the door as soon as they unlock it.

3. If they wanted to hang out in the room, fine, together. It didnt matter if Captain Henry, The pope, or Mikey mouse knocked on the door, they were NOT to open it (unless the room was flooding lol) until Momma and/or I walked through the door.

4. They also were not to go anywhere with anyone unless it was a crewmember (not just a new friend) from the teen club, even if they called them by name.

The vast majority of the time, we were all together, so it didn't really matter. And they didnt want to go to the teen club all that much, only a couple times.

I think your diligence is a good thing. Just because it is Disney, and just because it is a ship where nobody can "get away" doesnt mean bad things still couldn't happen.

That being said. Make sure your kids know the rules, that they understand what "could" happen, and to make sure they stay aware of it. If you are worried about a child going with someone that calls their name, then no, I would leave the names off the door. Otherwise, you should be fine. ;)

I love these doors! I have a question about the mickey heads for over the room numbers. I printed out the fire helmet mickey head in 2 parts. Do I laminate them already together or laminate them separately and place them together once on board?

I know that might sound really dumb but I just want them to fit over the door number when I get there?

TIA,
kelly

Thanks HiddenMickeys. I appreciate your advice! :goodvibes

I'm kinda sad cause one of my girls will be in the Lab while the older one will be in the new tween section The Edge. I like them sticking together, although I'm sure my oldest will be excited to get away from her sister for a bit. :lmao:

I loved your fish extender. Did you make that?

lol, nope. Ebay. We read the no sew directions, went to the craft store and had items in the cart, and realized we could buy it for about $10 more. Soooo, we left the store with nothing, and jumped back on Ebay. Best decision we made. Especially since it's not a one time use sort of thing. ;)

Here's one shot of our door from the Oct 24 Magic cruise :) We changed them up during the cruise, but I forgot to take pics until the last night!

LMAO at Yoda and the Mickey bar!:rotfl2:

Can't take credit for that one. It should be in the cruise magnet graphics thread. The creator, If I remember correctly, made it up to actually put on a shirt for her son. Sorry I don't remember her name, but yes, as soon as my brother and I saw it, we had to have it for our doors. Especially since, even on a very short 3 night, by night 3 when we called room service the gentleman answering the phone greeted me with "And how many mickey bars would we like this evening Mr. Parker?" I just about died laughing. :lmao::rotfl2: (ps, we did order other food besides the bars lol)

I did up the yoda and Mickey bar one. I was thrilled to see the photo of your door with it on it! Yes, I made it for a shirt for DS16 for Disney World. We were in DHS the day he wore that, and we had a few people around the Star Tours ride stop us and ask where we bought the shirt (because they WANTED ONE). One lady was quite surprised when I told her I made it. She then asked how one does something like that. I then told her all about the DIS boards and Magnet and T-shirt graphics, and told her where to go to find that exact graphic.
