1st Trip (of many!) as Mr. & Mrs.--the TR-- UPDATE 9/9: Life Update--We're Moving!!

Do you see the Hidden Mickey?? Madison has pointed it out to my DH and I each time we've gone on this ride!

Anyways...what a wonderful start to the morning. There is nothing like a ride on TSMM to get your DHS day going! I love the empty pics while you were waiting at the turnstiles. We're always rope drop people, but we've never been at the front of those lines. :sad1: I will be someday though. Just you wait! :rotfl: DHS isn't my favorite park, but I do love all of it's little details. I love old Hollywood!

Yes, you have. Thanks! :) YAY! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Oh goodness--you are going to LOVE AKV! Are you staying at Jambo House or Kidani Village? Haha! Yep. You got it! :rotfl:

We're staying at Kidani I can't waittttt only 20 more days! :woohoo:

I'm impressed at how early you guys made it to DHS! Isn't the TSM queue just the best? It's so fun in there it almost makes me wanna wait on the regular line for a little while LOL

That "old time" looking picture is amazing! :thumbsup2

Wow, gotta love empty parks!

I love that shot too!

Aren't they the greatest?! Thanks! :)

AMAZING shots of DHS empty!! I love that sepia one too.

I'm so excited for TSM! I have been practicing hard on our Wii version so I know how to score us some bonus points!!

I love the pic of Michael's "game face"! :lmao:

Thank you! It was fun being up there so we could take them. :goodvibes Woo-Hoo!! I know you'll just love it (and blow my score out of the water!) :woohoo: Yeah, he's a goof!

AWESOME update :thumbsup2 Haha I was laughing so hard at your DH carefully scanning his finger to get in..you two are so funny!!

SO cool you were one of the firsts in line for TS!! I am looking forward to finally riding it in January  I learned the hard way to go right to it after the park opens. I am hoping to be as early as you two were!

The pic with the balloons is priceless. It totally looks real! I am sooo curious to see where you ate like a "Piggy" hehe. Great job---cant wait to read the rest!!

Thanks! Yeah, we entertain ourselves :rotfl: You will LOVE it!! It's so great. We were VERY happy that we chose to get up a little earlier every morning so we could be some of the first people there. It just doesn't get any better than being up next to the rope at rope drop :thumbsup2 Thanks! Did you know you can just ask all of the photopass people if they have any "magic shots"? Some of them are really neat! Haha--I did EAT like a Piggy, but he was actually talking about my attitude when he said that

Sounds like a great start to the day. Empty parks are the best. It's so worth getting up early for. Toy Story Mania is such a fun ride. When I was there I waited hours for that. But it's so worth it. Can't wait to hear more about your day!

It was a perfect start!! Oh, I know. We're completely convinced that rope drops are the only way to go. :thumbsup2 Oh wow! I don't think we'd wait hours for anything...but it was INCREDIBLE!

HS has become my favorite too! I love the theming and even tho I've been there three times, I still haven't experienced everything. Can't wait to go back next year! You guys are having so much fun

Woo-Hoo! I'm glad you love HS too! :) I know--there's just SO much to experience. But I love that about Disney...you can go time after time after time and never see everything. Yes, we were! :goodvibes

Hey, I found your trip report, you two are an absolutely adorable couple! Also, Hollywood Studios is my favorite park too, it's looks like you had so much fun. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to read more!

Hi! Thank you so much for reading! :goodvibes Aw, thanks. YAY! Isn't it just so great?! We love everything there! Thank you--I'll have more sometime this week. :thumbsup2

Thanks for reading! :)

Oh wow! I didn't see it, but I do now! Thanks! I'll have to show Michael. I know--it was an incredible start to the day!! :goodvibes Thank you. You need to get there really early one of these days. It's worth it. If you were going to choose one park to get there really early for, I'd make it DHS or AK. They have the best pre-shows that are next to a rope (MK is AWESOME but everyone just crowds in anyway). I wish life was still like that...

YAY!!! That is so exciting that you only have 20 days left!! :dance3: You will love it. We visited Kidani Village one day and I'll post our pics from there. It's really pretty--but you need to visit Jambo House too because it's completely different. Well, we're used to waking up at 6:30 every morning, so it was sleeping in to wake up at 7. :thumbsup2 We loved being there early every day! YES--it's so creative. Yeah, then my pics wouldn't be so blurry ;)

Wow, Staci--your night at Magic Kingdom was great! I loved your castle pics. I think the fall decorations around are so pretty!

Ahh--I wish we could be 'rope drop' people! All that empty park in front of you...

Isn't TSM the greatest? I love it, too!

Can't wait for more!

Staci!! We are like twins...DHS is my favorite park (and I'm hoping your favorite ride is the same as my favorite ride!) and I also NEVER set alarms at 0's or 5's! Last week it was set at 5:38 and then I decided that was too early and now its at 5:43!! (yeah...5 minutes later! :rotfl:) I have never met anyone else who does that!!

Also, I was going way more for accuracy too than shooting. Actually I was a spaz who kept going between both. And I must say, even though you technically lost, I don't recall ever seeing anyone with accuracy that high!!

I can't wait to see more!! Man, you just made me wish I could go on TSM RIGHT NOW!! I had a dream about it the other night...true story.

It was an incredible night!! The perfect ending to our first day in the parks! :goodvibes Haha--yeah, rope drop isn't for everyone, but we LOVE it!!! Oh my goodness, YES IT IS!! :thumbsup2 I'll hopefully have more later this week!

Hey Kimmy! Haha! That's awesome. I love having a Disney Twin! :woohoo: I'm telling you--you need to just move to Oklahoma! Hm....you'll just have to wait and see what my favorite is ;) Are you SERIOUS?!?! YAY! I'm not the only crazy about the alarm times! :yay: I think ours is at 6:27 or 6:33 right now. But I might be wrong. We change it to a later time on Sundays and then just pick a random time during the week. :upsidedow During our second ride, I was pretty much a spaz too. But I'll tell more about that next time. Yay--I didn't even pay attention to the fact that my accuracy was high. I wish I could go on TSM right now too! Haha :rotfl: That is too funny!

Woohoo! I made a cameo this day! :rotfl: It was great to meet you guys! I wish we could have chatted longer.

Your accuracy is amazing!! Good job aiming! I just sort of fire as fast as I can lol. Joe always beat my score but I always beat his accuracy. I love TSM!!!

I love having a Disney twin too!! I bet my luck would be that as soon as I was ready and gung-ho to move to Oklahoma, you'd move back to Texas or soemthing! :scared1: Hopefully one day it'll work out!!

I'm so glad that you have random times too!! It just better that way! I also NEVER do 0's or 5's on my microwave when I'm heating something up!! :rotfl: And I usually do numbers I like, which also have reasons like color. For example, 13 since I was born on the 13th or 19 because that's how old I am now. My straighter also has numerical settings and its the same thing!!

Can't wait to hear about your being a spaz your 2nd TSM ride!! :rotfl: I wish I had gone twice!! I'm so grateful I ended up going the time I did though!! I seriously want to get a Wii for Christmas for the sole purpose of getting TSM for it!!

Yaaaaay, Hollywood Studios! I think I have a feeling what your favorite ride is... at least I know what I want it to be! ;):goodvibes

The opening show is really cute at DHS and aren't the Streetmosphere CM's just hilarious?! I love it!

Oh man, Toy Story! I'm so excited to do this ride on this upcoming trip and seeing your pictures and reading about how excited you were just pumps me up!

Great start to the day!!! (I love Hollywood Studios as well)

And you were definitely aiming too much on TSM. Your accuracy was WAY too high. LOL

Good start to your DHS day! I always thought most disney fans hated that park, but it's my fave too. Toy Story, Aerosmith rollercoaster (;)), plus it has a bunch of things from my favorite disney movies: little mermaid, beauty and the beast etc. and also stuff for DH to feel manly about: Indy, stunt show etc.

Great pics again and by the way, your hair looks nice down!

Yep you did! I still can't believe that we ran into each other! Me too...But I'm glad we can at least "catch up" over our TRs :thumbsup2 Thanks! I wasn't trying to aim so well--I'm just WAY too much of a perfectionist! :rotfl: It's the greatest "game ride"!!

That's probably true...you might need to wait about a year or so and then try to move where we are! :upsidedow I agree--the random times are SOO much better! I think it helps my mind not be able to figure out when my snooze will go off (because I'm not going to think that much that early in the morning). I don't usually do that on the microwave because 1-6 minutes are autoprogrammed in... I do the same thing!! My favorite number is 621, and I try to do things in variations of it. And it's from my favorite street address growing up. And if I see the clock when it says 6:21, then I get really excited. I know--I'm really weird! We wanted to ride more than we did, but we didn't get to. Haha--that would be sooo fun! If you get it, you'll have to tell me how it is!

I guess you'll just have to wait and see if you're right ;) I know--the Streetmosphere CMs and the opening show just add to the old hollywood feel! SO great. :thumbsup2 Toy Story Mania is INCREDIBLE! You will absolutely love it. I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like it.

Great start to the day!!! (I love Hollywood Studios as well)

And you were definitely aiming too much on TSM. Your accuracy was WAY too high. LOL

Thanks! Haha--Yeah, I'm too much of a perfectionist :rotfl:

Sounds like your DHS day is off to a great start! I can't wait to hear about your lunch!

It was so great! Oh, goodness. Lunch was great! :thumbsup2

Thhanks! I know--it's most people's least favorite park. I know that most of my family only spends half a day there--we could have spent 5 days there! :upsidedow Hm...good guess! ;) You'll have to wait and see. Yes--it has so much for everyone! I love the rides and the shows. And Michael loves all of it too--it's a perfect "big people" park! :thumbsup2

The start to your Hollywood Studios day looks AMAZING!! And I agree that Midway Mania is such an awesome interactive ride. Oh, and I am super "jealous" that you got to do the photopass with the celebration balloons. Everyone we asked said they didn't have it :sad1:

Can't wait to ready more.

Awww, great updates! I loved the sepia toned pic of DHS empty and your black and white shot of the castle at night. I think I have the same camera as you do and didn't realize I had all of those settings until I read your earlier posts. oops. Looks like your day at DHS was off to a fantastic start!

Waiting a year will give me time to and stuff!! :thumbsup2

I'm the worst with snooze. Sometimes I just turn off my alarm completely instead of pressing snooze (accidentally or on purpose? hmm...who knows?) but Landon always wakes up at the same time and he doesn't have a snooze button! :confused3 So luckily I'm never late!!

That's so funny about 621!! I'm the same way...except I usually look at the time and see birthdays...like 4:13 for me and 11:06 for Landon. None of my addresses have had times though, otherwise I'd get excited too! :upsidedow

Who wouldn't want to ride it more? It makes me wish I was rich enough to be able to pay to cut to the front of any line and then ride it as many times as I want in a row, like a celebrity!! I would probably ride TSM a million times...if I ever got off ToT!! :rotfl: Actually, here's how it would probably go: RnRC, RnRC, ToT, ToT, ToT, ToT, TSM, TSM, TSM, ToT, ToT, ToT, ToT, RnRC, RnRC, ToT, ToT, ToT, ToT, food break, ToT, ToT, ToT, Star Tours, GMR, TSM, TSM, TSM, ToT, ToT, ToT, ToT, ToT, RnRC, RnRC...you get the idea. :rotfl:

I think right now I'm just dreaming big on the TSM Wii game, but I'll let you know for sure!

Hey Staci!
Love the start to your DHS day! I so wish we could have gotten there that early (poor J is just not a morning person). But at least we got to ride TSM twice like you guys did!
Can't wait to read more! And to hear about lunch, of course (where else would a pregnant woman's mind be? )

It was SO great! We loved being there so early and just relaxing in line and then booking it to ride the greatest "interactive attraction" ever!!! :thumbsup2 Haha--I just wrote that and then I glanced up and saw that we used almost the exact same words! Great minds think alike... ;) Aw. I'm sorry you didn't get to do the balloon pictures. They were so fun. I love all of the magic pictures.

Thanks! I love this little camera. It's (in my opinion) the best little point and shoot ever! But I do need to tell you that I edited those two pics in Photoshop after I took the pics. One of them (the sepia) is an action (I think it was western and some others) that I downloaded on thepioneerwoman photography blog, and the other is just one I turned to grayscale. I love Photoshop. :goodvibes It was a great start!!

I'll keep you posted! :thumbsup2 And speaking of that, remind me to PM you about my conversation with Michael last night. :) Haha--I've definitely done that so many times. Michael usually sleeps through all my snoozes and then I have to wake him up in the morning. I didn't know your birthday was April 13! Mine is April 9! :thumbsup2 I love having an April bday! Your DHS day cracks me up. I think I'd get pretty tired of them if I just did those 3 over and over. You have to throw in a good show or 3! ;) And I really laughed when I read about you wanting to pay to cut! :rotfl: I don't know if people would let you cut at Disney World even if you paid them!

Hey Staci!

Can't wait to read more! And to hear about lunch, of course (where else would a pregnant woman's mind be? )

Hi Amanda! Thanks! It was so good getting there early and just relaxing and hanging out until opening. Thankfully, Michael and I are pretty similar in wanting to just get there and start our day early... Woo-Hoo for riding it twice! :woohoo: I just love that ride. Haha--I'll have lunch in the next installment (hopefully!)

I'll remind you! :goodvibes
One time, I seriously knew this person who set alarms on both their normal alarm clock AND cell phone and had to set it about a half hour before they got up because they hit snooze so many times on both. It was like an alarm symphony!!

Aw I didn't know your birthday was then either!! The 9th was actually my due date!! April birthdays are really the best!!

Oh and I've read threads about it...people who have seen celebs in line and they are able to go to the front and ride however many times in a row they wanted. Someone commented on one once that anyone can buy that privilege, its just really expensive and usually only celebs have that kind of money to do that! So I'd actually be paying Disney and not the people in front of me in line!! And, of course, if I had that much money to spend, I'd have enough to stay in Disney for a rather long time and would also have a day for shows. Actually, I'd probably split them a little better between the days...that probably would get boring!! But I would ride them A LOT!! :rotfl:

What great updates Staci!!!! You guys had so much fun!!!! YOu know me and my love of DHS so I was so happy you guys had such a great day in that park!!!! YAY!!!
