That must have been a hoot with the StepFamily and the "uninvolved father" comment. Cause it is so obviously not the case - LOL!

Brent should challenge them to a WDW cake bake-off next time you are in the Parks!

I seriously can't believe that the rain keeps making an appearance every day on your trip. I too would have been a little frustrated by it all but thank goodness the character visits with Peter Pan and Wendy went off as planned.

Can't wait for more!

We didn't have to wait too terribly long before they called our name to be seated. We entered the Crystal Palace and is was just GORGEOUS!! And we had the best table--it had the best view of the castle!!

We were seated next to a couple that was celebrating their 1 year anniversary. It turned out to be a great setup. We took pics for them and they took pics for us!!

Once we were seated we ordered our drinks and our waitress told us that we had time to get our food before the characters started coming around. This was one of the bests buffets we ate at all week! There was so much to choose from and the food was soooo good!

The characters were great, too!! The first one to come to our table was Piglet!

And then came Pooh (Claire REALLY started interacting with the characters at this point)!!

My girls were having sooo much fun interacting with the characters!

Then Tigger was trying to make his way over to our table but this little boy was running behind him trying to tackle him to the ground!! It was really quite crazy--the boy was relentless and his parents were nowhere to be found! Finally a flustered Tigger had to grab a CM and tell them to get the boy OFF of him!! The CM took care of it and found the boy's parents. And Tigger was finally able to greet my girls.

I don't know if Claire had finally warmed up to character interactions or if she just LOVED these characters in particular--but it was soooo much fun to watch her during this meal!!

And look at this smile--priceless!!

Then it was time for the parade around the restaurant! Eeyore gathered the kids!

And Tigger brought up the rear!

We were taking our time eating and as we were sitting there the characters made their way back around for a 2nd visit!! So we decided to get some family pictures!

And Claire enjoyed some dessert!

Becky, I am laughing outloud about your Tigger story!!! I could totally picture the whole thing!!! My word where was that childs parents!!? too funny..... You got the BEST pics at CP and love your location with the view of the castle!! Claires pic with the dessert all over her face is priceless, love it!!

We finished up and were ready to leave and I took these pics of the topiaries!

Since it wasn't raining at this point we decided to get some pictures in front of the castle!

At this point we decided to let the girls choose their favorite ride to ride one last time. Ally chose Peter Pan's Flight so we made our way back to Fantasyland. The line was really long so we decided to use 3 of the Fastpasses that we were given earlier that day. As we rode I just soaked it all in one last time. Then we headed across the way to Claire's favorite ride--It's A Small World. It was a walk-on so we got a boat immediately. Again, I just tried to soak it all in--at this point I had no idea when we'd be returning to Disney World. I was hooked but I wasn't sure how Brent felt. Claire was so very happy everytime we got on this ride--I just loved to see the joy on her face. So as we rode I became very emotional. I had tears just streaming down my face as we rode this ride one last time. I tried to turn my head so I wouldn't upset the girls. They didn't notice but Brent did. He put his arm on mine as if to say, "It's ok. I understand." I was a mess and I hated knowing that it was our last night at Disney World. Uggh! But I was going to make the best of our last night there!! That was for sure!

We still had a little while before Wishes so we decided to do the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. I was a little apprehensive about this show at first--I was afraid it would be really corny. I am so glad that we tried it!! The show was so much fun and had us laughing the entire time!! My favorite part was how they chose people out of the audience to stick the camera on and make them part of the show--genius!! One little girl that they chose crawled under her seat to hide--it was so funny!! We will definitely do that show again!!

As we exited the show we decided to go ahead and choose a location to watch Wishes. We chose the walkway that goes from Tomorrowland to the street in front of the castle--right where Tinkerbell would fly over our heads!!

As Wishes ended we slowly made our way out of the park. I took these pics along the way (things were slow going at this point).

Main Street (see all of those people)!!

Ally was starting to fall asleep so we tried to keep her awake as long as possible (there is nowhere for her to lay down in a Sit-N-Stand stroller and she is soooo heavy to carry). We made it out of the entrance and decided to try and take the boat back to the Poly since we hadn't had a chance to do that all week. Well, it seemed like we were standing in line forever and it just wasn't moving. The monorail line seemed pretty long but it was moving. So we decided to get out of line and get in the line for the monorail. This line actually ended up going pretty fast but as we waited Ally fell asleep. Brent picked her up and carried her onto the monorail as I pushed Claire in the stroller. It was a very quick ride back to the Poly and we were back in our rooms before we knew it! This is what was waiting for us!!

The girls were asleep so we just stuck them in bed. Brent and I started getting everything packed up to go home the next afternoon. Then we hopped in bed so we could get up early and spend as much time in the park as possible before it was time to catch the ME back to the airport.

So which park did we spend half the day in? And what did we do? Stay tuned for the last day!!

Aww Becky, I have had moments like that at WDW, too, where I tear up and can't control my emotions. It's a Mommy thing for sure!! Such wonderful family time is spent there, so much planning, so many memories and happy moments where Mommy and Daddy don't have to work, pay bills, clean the house, they just get to play with their babies....does it get any better than that? So sad this is your last night.....

It WAS hilarious!! We were laughing until Tigger asked for help--I think he was afraid of that kid and what he might do to him!!

I'm glad you can relate Kristen!! I think a lot of the mommies on here understand that range of emotions that you go through while at WDW! It really doesn't get any better than that! It truly is the happiest place on earth!

Hi Becky! Wow! You have been busy posting a lot of updates, and they all were wonderful. I am impressed with how much you got done at the MK, even with all of the rain.

I have to say that I totally understand your emtions on IASW. I was tearing up while reading about it, since I remember how much Dylan loved that ride too. The look of wonder on their faces is priceless.

You got some great pictures at CP too. I can't believe the Tigger story! Where were the parents??? What a view you had out that window of the castle.

Your Halloween pictures were too cute. I love the pic of you and Ally in her classroom. I just posted some pictures of Dylan in his costume on my TR. It's so cool that your church does the Trunk & Treat thing. My parent's church does that too and it is such a good alternative for some people. Ok, sorry for the long post...you just gave me a lot to comment on!

Thanks!! Claire took a long nap yesterday and Brent took Ally for some daddy/daughter time so I had a lot of quiet time to update!! I will have to go look at your Halloween pics!! Our church normally does Trunk-A-Treat at night so we've never been able to go trick-or-treating. It was nice to be able to do both this year!!

thank you for all the wonderful updates and beautiful pictures

I am so glad you took the time to meet and greet all those characters and the rain did not overaly spoil all your fun! I just love the characters and especially when the kids are little it is so great to experience that wonderful magic!

Your pictures brought me back down memory lane of some of our favorite character experiences too...w/ many of those same fun guys too. And I really think your Wendy was the same one we saw in 2005. She is so pretty!

it is great how much fun Claire had too w/ Pooh and Friends. We loved that buffet too. Glad you could take your time and get some wonderful family shots too!

I love the family shots in front of the castle at night all up in pink...

sounds like you had a wonderful full day at MK! We rode the boat home once from MK too to the Poly...yes it was a long slow line, but it was a nice ride. it was probably best to take the sleeping girls on the monorail though as you get push a stroller on those small boats.

I understnad those last day tears...and it probably wans't just that it was the last night but all the wonderful memories you had made so far that week were just pouring out

Looking forward to hearing about the last park choice and what you did!
