I think we'll be there at the same time! We arrive Dec 11 for 3 nights.

We'll be there also then Dec 12-16 a short trip for my B-day! Just booked and can't wait. This is our first time also without reserving a car which is going to be interesting. My DH and I haven't been there since it was Dixie Landings. Can anyone suggest a good building to request or room? We do have standard rooms reserved. Thanks all! Any other suggestions of things to do there, etc., let us know. Only myself and DH, looking for a nice romantic trip. Oh and we'll be in the AB section which myself and DH really love. I am so psyched!

Just found out that Pop Warner will be at Riverside in December when we are there! Oh no.

What is Pop Warner? We are also going Dec, the 12-16th??? Are they there then and are they noisy kids? We're hoping for a nice adult vacation, just the two of us.

Thanks.. i know we will have a blast, and with the marathon and the wedding going on that week, we will be busy reguardless... And, it's Disney, so i know it will be great..

But, i think maybe that palm tree and lighter/brighter colors in the first pic was why i liked it better.. LOL Reminded me more of a "rustic" beach club.. LMAO

Yeah I totally agree, the first pic looked so nice and that blue and red bedspread, uggggh. But that's ok, I'm still psyched! The grounds are gorgeous there, incredible. Does anyone know if any of the rooms in AB don't have those blue/red bedspreads, are all the rooms the same color? Thanks all!

Perhaps they have a party of 5?? AB has the trundle to accomodate 5....I dont care where they put me, its just me...lol
I think I would like Mansions better though....

I too want to be placed in AB, and if we are not placed there on our first night, I would think the possibility of being switched over there the next day would be pretty good. We are a party of 4, so they may put us in MB that first night. But on my ressie, I requested ANY room in AB, so maybe I will luck up.

Every room in the AB section has those bedspreads. Once you are there, it actually works

Wow, thanks everyone for all the GORGEOUS pictures. We are staying at POR in May and now I am even more excited! I didn't think that was possible. Can't wait!

When you check in, ask. Ask for buildings 14, 15, 18 or we loved it in building 28 as well. Can't hurt to ask and make nice with the CM

thanks to this thread we have decided to not spend the excess money at a deluxe and stay here at the POR - we are hoping to get a room in AB so we will place the request - we wanted to stay at the CR in a tower room but none were available so we were going to go with GF with a park view but decided we are not going to be spending much time at MK so it seemed stupid to spend the extra money - my DD is 16 so even if the wait for the bus is long its not like she is a small child i think we will be just fine - now just to wait for September to get here - not that i am wishing time away - this will also be my DD's first time staying on property, her 6th trip to the world but never had the opportunity to stay on site - i cant wait

We are considering switching from CSR to here because I heard the christmas decorations are really nice and traditional here. Also how are the buses during DEC? We will be there 12/15 to 12/20. We'll be there with you the 16th-20th. We requested AB, but now I am reconsidering MB, for the elevators. Anyway I am not going to do online check-in, so when we check-in I may can get them to play switch a roo if we do not like where we are put. I don't know if I really want a second floor room in AB now.
