Happy Halloween Everyone, no plans here Ian is on call, so could could get called to work at any time, the Halloween candles are lit, and we have a huge bowl of treats for the trick or treaters. I am hoping he gets no calls and we can watch X Factor and have an Indian takeaway. Have fun anyone having parties.

HAPPY BELATED HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!​

We had a party last night.... It's never a huge event but we have some family and friends over and basically have a night of dressing up, being silly and eating lots of yummy food! We have a big supply of wine and soft drinks too so that makes for a fun evening!

This year our Halloween menu was:

-Veggie Chilli
-Veggie Curry
-Chicken Curry
-Rice
-Naan Breads
-Green Salad
-Autumn Coleslaw (Recpie: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/12803/autumn-coleslaw)
-Cheese Platter
-Cured Meats Platter
-A Whole Roast Salmon (Won locally!)

-Graveyard Cake (Recipe here but its useless.... Seriously, we'll keep the pattern but never use the recipe again! http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/12859/haunted-graveyard-cake-)
-Trick or Treat Sweets

I was a Vampire this year, Robert was Iron Man, and Conor (My brother) was a Werewolf! We had some really good costumes this year! We had a fab Pinata to smash in the garden, and we also played on Singstar and the Eyetoy... Great Party!

Wow that is a fab bargain! He is great - although it would probably give me an horrid nightmare of being eaten alive by the humongous killer spider!

we had a party too but lots of people cancelled ahhhh so much work but we carried on.

we had a pumpkin carving competion, i picked 4 stencils then paired people off and they had 20 mins to carve, i thought there not too bad seeing as though they were under pressure and under the influence of alcohol.

Our Pinata was from M&S... He was absolutely brilliant... Took ages to whack him down!
