That WAS the perfect day - Palo, Martini Tasting, a picture perfect Disney theatrical production of Disney Dreams (be sure to bring tissues!) and another visit to Palo! ........ and I was one happy bunny!!

Okay, Nic (and Karin). I just said to Mark that Nic and I were ditching him and Todd and going on this cruise next year. He just looked at me and rolled his eyes and then said and I QUOTE: "You can't. You and Nic would never survive as there is NO Starbucks on the cruise ship and in the port of calls. And you two would NEVER survive without your Starbucks." That was his way of saying, after seeing the desserts that I showed him from the post, that no way in he** was I going without him.

Actually there is a Starbucks in Nassau. We could see it from our stateroom-balkony

No I didnt...I am not getting all the emails from the threads I subscribe too and it is driving me mad!

I think Mark knows that we love our Starbucks but we can also substitute that with booze in our coffee and be just as happy

We seem to have a lot in common - a love for WDW, eggs benedict and really good tea!

Thank you so much for your magical Pixie Dust! I am really happy with my ADRs even though I already made changes to them the very next day But nothing serious, just changed the times for some of the ADRs.
Oh, and Tom's supervisor agreed to his holiday request, so now we are good to go! Only 106 more days to wait!!!

Any news on Mark's pain? I hope this is all checked soon and there is real good help for him. Hope your son's car trouble is over soon too! I am keeping my fingers crossed that the insurance will compensate you and that he can get a decent new car!

Well, I guess I need to explain, why I have been absent these last few days.

First off, I got in on the mad rush on Oct. 27, to make ADRs for my upcoming trip. Took me all day and several phone calls to complete them.

Then there was loads of work for school. I had to come up with two big written exams for my pupils and that takes a lot of time - I WANT THEM ALL TO PASS!!!

And finally, as you can see from my ticker, Tom and I are off to Disneyland Paris for the weekend.
We are going to their Halloween Party on Saturday evening/night (9pm until 1am), like we have done for the last few years.
So today I packed our bags and tomorrow at 3pm (10am EST) we will be on a plane to Frankfurt and on to Paris. I am NOT sure if we will have internet, but IF we do I will log on and let you all know what's going on!

Since we had a rather measly dining experience last time we decided to go mostly CS, but I will post photos of what we had!

Okay, so finally here is one more installment before we are off to Disney again!

Still Day 12, Aug 26

We started to pack up our things and decided to take a few photos of the fishextender gifts we had received!

In the afternoon, Tom and I had signed up for a gift exchange with our group but when we got there we found out that they had been delayed and it now overlapped with our Martini tasting. We left our gifts with the rest of the group and went to the Martini tasting.

When we arrived there were already a few people there and some small tables were all set for the tasting. There were 5 glasses placed on every mat!

From left to right there were - Classic Martini, French Kiss, Washington Apple, Citron Martine and 53 Coco Cadillac - actually I remember that I liked three of them very much, but I can't remember which ones! Guess, we'll have to do it again, wanna come along, Nicki and Kathy?

Here's Tom BEFORE we tasted. They even invited people to try and shake their own Martini!

After the tasting I threw most of our things into the suitcases, got changed for dinner and off we went to Palo again!

Up next - another dinner at Palo (sorry, will have to wait until Monday - I am now off to celebrate Halloween with MICKEY!!!!!!!!)
