Two Grannies in Search of th Hot Italian!!April/May PTR

Well where do I begin ,let's see !!Many of you know me Rosie the computor whiz
I fell in love with Disney on my first trip in 2007 !!! Since then I have made 2 yes 2 SOLO trips and another Family trip!!! I am still working on that TR

I mention my TR as it is from that the TITLE of this PTR came about . It has caused a few laughs and that's what Rosie likes to do!!!
So without further ado I will fill you in on how this all came about !!
I received a PM from another Disser "Minnie & Nana" and from that and many others we chatted and decided to make it a trip together !! I have asked Christine to co author this but she doesn't have to !! Sure she wil add her comments !

So :-
The Who ..... Rosie and Christine
The When .....April 29th thru May 6th
The Where ....POFQ with River view !!!
The Package ...Resort, Ticket, and DDP

After much chatting these are the dates and Resort we choose and I am EXCITED as I have only stayed at POP!!!!!!
The to dos :-
Book .... Christine handled that superbly
Deposit .... Each paid this week Yahooey it's OFFICIAL
The Plans ... they are shaping up!!

In our may chats and pm's we have found how much we have in common!! Neither like the thrill rides , both love browsing the shops , we seem tolike manyof the same rides this is gonna be fun!!! Stay tuned as we finalize some plans this month!!!

The title came from my TR when I was reporting on our lunch at Pizzafari !!!!I said the others had Pizza and I had a HOT ITALIAN Well the gang picked up on that and went with it and who am I to not carry it on !!! So the HOT ITALIAN is sandwich not a Mamma Mia Man !!!!

Hey, Rosie!! You forgot to tell me about the PTR!!!!

I think we should tell the coolest thing we have in common - we are the same age!! Okay, so you are the senior, but only by a few measly months. We are Spring Seniors!

Rosie is the outgoing one (how's that for an understatement??) and I am pretty shy....this is going to be interesting! And...Rosie is pretty small, while I am Pooh size - What a team

Because we are grannies (well, I am officially a Nana of just a yr ) and will not be traveling with munchkins, we will be free to change our minds in the morning about a park, or midday if we want - just go with the flow. No worries about being the wall holder for those who want to do the thrill rides....

BUT, think I've convinced my friend to walk through TOT to see the cool waiting areas, then we'll hop on the chicken elevator asap.

Less than a week to make our ADR's.

Well now my partner in crime is on board she can let you know how the plans are shaping as they shape !!!

So far we have booked POFQ for 7nights and are hoping for the 4/3 deal!!

We also have for now 1 day tickets which allowed us to purchase the ddp!!! We are looking at the best dealfor tickets and the room of course !! We do hav a great room price now thanks to Christine having a code ! Ouroptions are LEGION !! and we are just sitting back and waiting to see what is best!! Chistin is a awesome planner and discount hunter !! My timeis soooo limited so I am relying on her for sooo much !!! Glad you joine our PTR Christine !!1

Rosie is pulling your leg - she is a GREAT planner!!!

Our trip isn't until April 29 and we've already been busy planning, planning, planning - what we will do after we get all our ADR's?? Ohh, I am sure we'll figure that our just fine!! More planning!

Yeah Rosie tells me "I have on a blue Disney sweatshirt" & my DH response was "Yeah that narrows it down" But we found her no problem saving our bench at the 5th Dimension concert.

Yes Rosie once the hours come out we will need to decide when & where to meet. If it will be a meal I can make the ADR.

So happy to heard about you new trip

You and Minnie Nana will have a MAGICAL time together
I remember talking her on about the time her grandchild was about to be born.

The POFQ will be a great place to stay, It the moderate that I would like to stay at if I ever can afford a mod.

Would you be elibigle for the 1 day free if you volunteer?

If your looking for a differnt place to eat and have not eaten at the Garden Grill. I would recomend it, We had a lot of fun with the characters and the server was awesome. and the food is family style. I will do this on my next trip.

I am bummed that the hours are not up yet!!! I checked when I got up this morning..no hours

Hi Everyone I have changes in my plans !! Christine has been forced to change her plans so we are now up in the air about 2010 !! As soon as I or we figure it out I will let ya all now !!! But for now the 2 Grannies are on hold !!!!
