A Baptism, MNSSHP, & FD...sweating our way through 6 days at POP!! Completed!

This is my 2nd trip report and I hope it goes as well as the first! This was our 4th Disney trip in the last 2 years. I guess you can say we are slightly addicted to Disney.

Oh, I forgot... some of you don't know who 'we' are so let me introduce us. I'll start with our daughter Juliana. She is 3yrs old. She is a really good kid- she amazes us every day. She loves anything Disney especially the princesses and her favorite is Cinderella. Here is a picture of her first day of dance class.

Then there is my DW Melody. Melody always wanted me to go to Disney with her before we had kids. I always refused going and I think it was the best decision ever. When we went on our first trip in March of 2008, I enjoyed watching Juliana's eyes light up when she saw the castle for the first time or when she rode on It's A Small World. Melody is 33yrs old and we just celebrated our 5 year anniversary this past September.

I am a 31yr old Disney addict! I'm Tim. I do most of our trip planning- booking hotels, planes, & ADRs. I do all the research and present my findings to Melody, who in turn approves or denies my ideas! Here is a pic of us from a wedding this August.

The reason for our trip was Melody's cousin, who lives just outside of Orlando, asked her to be the godmother to their son while we were in Disney in March. Of course she was honored and said yes. We started planning this trip shortly after returning in March. We were looking at 2 different dates- October 3-8 or November 14-19. Obviously we decided on the October dates!

So this is the story of our trip!

It was 4:20am when the alarm went off. I rolled out of bed and woke up pretty quickly. The adrenaline started kicking in.. it was time to pack up the last few items!

At 4:45 we woke up Juliana and told her it was time to go. It took her a minute or two then she popped up and said time to goto Disney! We got her dressed and had her pull off the last Mickey head on our countdown chart.

Melody's brother and his wife dropped us off at the airport. We made it through security and stopped at the bathroom. Our flight was already boarding! We got settled in the plane and we were waiting to leave. Everyone was on the plane and we were just sitting there. After 10 minutes of sitting I went numb. I turned to Melody and it went something like this:
Me- "OH MY GOD!"
Melody- "What?"
Me- "OH MY GOD!"
Melody- "What? What's wrong"
Me- "I left our park tickets in my top drawer"
Melody- "You are joking. You are joking right?"
Me- "No I'm serious. I left them in the top drawer."

I bought tickets from Undercover Tourist in the summer before the ticket prices went up. I put the tickets in a safe place..... a place where I wouldn't lose them. Apparently this place was where I would leave them while I was on a plane headed to Disney!!!!!!! I have no idea how I did this. I felt soooo bad. I was even nauseous.

The door finally shut and we were taxiing to the runway. I kept telling Melody I was sorry and I felt horrible, and I would fix everything once we got to Orlando. I managed to snap a few pics on the plane.

We landed and I got on my phone to get the number to Undercover Tourist. I called them left a message. They aren't in the office on the weekend. UGH Hopefully they can help me on Monday. We got our luggage and headed over to get our rental car from Alamo. Time to take the drive over to POP.
