Wanted to wait post them until I received the photopass CD.

Our 8th Anniversary in WDW

Highlights (in no particular order):
Flying business class with BA which was awesome, thanks to Wayne for posting the offer a few months ago.
Celebrating our anniversary in WDW
Look on DH's face when he saw the cake I ordered for him
MNSSHP, we had a blast. Went all dressed up which made it so much more fun (people even wanted to take their picture with us!)
Toy Story Mania (over and over again)
Having a bbq by our quiet pool with some Disboard friends
The food, all the food, free DDP was heaven for us
Seeing lots of CM we met on previous trips who still recognised us and had plenty of fun with
Character breakfasts, it's great to feel like a little kid again

I desperately want to go back next year. But we're in 2 minds about it as we'd like to save up to buy a house out there so it would be sensible not to go splash out again. But then again... it's DISNEY!!!

Really great pics, thanks! I love the look of the cake you ordered, it's fantastic!! Would you recommend SSR?

We liked the SSR. It was a lovely resort, nice and airy feel about it. We had a studio, which was perfect for the 2 of us. It's nice to have a balcony and the room was lovely and bright (although DH and I didn't agree on the airco settings, I freezing, he was too warm... but that's always the case with us). Never had any noise from neighbours (we did have a corner room though).
We were really close to a bus stop and a quiet pool (never went to the main pool) so that was good too. Busses were fine, except for one day when the bus to the MK didn't show up for more than half an hour (looked like the first bus never left which meant we missed the opening show). Although we did usually take the car.
Only possible negative: the hallways. It's not like in a proper deluxe like the Wilderness Lodge Villas where it's a nice quiet carpetted hallway. The hallways are all open and don't look very nice or "inviting". Not that's anything really wrong with them (they are clean and everything), it's just not very appealling.
Would we stay there again: YES! Especially with the discounts that we got.

Glad you had a great trip.
If your Biz class flights were anything like ours with Delta you will have enjoyed them a lot. Just need a lottery win to do it every trip.

Been following your pics on Facebook but just looked at them all agin now you added more. Some really good pics.

Sounds like you enjoyed DDP as much as us.

Just one question how long did your photopass take? I ordered ours last Thursday evening and it still says processing. I am sure I have read people recieving in a few days.

I ordered the CD on Monday and got a confirmation email straight away. Then got an email from Fedex on Tuesday. Arrived this morning.
Maybe you should email them?

DDP was fab for us. We did it last year for my birthday too (but paid for it then). I like to organise everything anyway, so it's perfect for us. There was only one meal I didn't enjoy (fried shrimp basket at Columbia harbour house). We had one set of CS left over. So on our last day we had lunch at Wolfgang Puck Express (love that place!) and gave the 2 extra CS credits to a cute couple so they'd have a free meal.

Thanks for the review! :thumbsup2 I can understand how some people might not like the exterior hallways but we're not too bothered. As long as the room is nice and the grounds are pleasant, we're happy!

Sounds like you had a fab holiday. :goodvibes

Just sent them a message, might be because there are over 3,000 pics on there:goodvibes

3000 pics! Yikes! Have fun sorting through those! What the hell did you do? Kidnap a photograher for the whole time?
We less than 10 times that on ours.
Yes, maybe I can understand the delay now... Show off ;)

We started with about 350 pics then spent a month adding borders every night. Ended up with 3,025.

Everything looks fabulous, from the Business Class seats on BA to the food and, most of all, the wonderful Halloween costumes. I thought we did well the year we dressed up, but those are incredible.

I adore the cake. Where did you order it from?

Thanks Deb! :cutie:

The cake came from the Boardwalk bakery. I ordered it through our resort and it was delivered there.
It was a 10inch chocolate cake with dark chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries covered with fondant (I chose the colours to fit the wedding colours we had). It was even more delicious then it looked. It wasn't cheap at $80, but well worth it when I saw DH's reaction and how good it tasted :thumbsup2

Love the photos - and your halloween costumes were just superb!

Lots of very happy memories there:love:

Been following all your photos etc on facebook.

Thanks again for having the bbq, was a lovely evening and a brand new use for the little fountain by the quiet pool bbq! :thumbsup2
