tuesday begging out of field trip not up to the bus ride and I'm still a little miffed at the teacher (long story not going there), so today.....
am routine
email teacher to beg off
deliver lumber?????
laundry
cover letter (these are getting old)
take a nap (up late hacking forgot to take cough syrup and the humid air at the pool got to my lungs)
figure out dinner were all home tonight.
move sugar wood kills me but great exercise (3 more pounds till my first 20 are gone)
boys from bus
think about crop on 24th and what I need to bring trying to go light. I usually pack the entire contents of the room well not quite but close. My goal is 1 trip from truck to building. that means some careful/creative packing.:rolleyes

Uncle was doing better as of tonight they had him up and walking around the unit. bloodpressure was stable today which is a great sign. He doesn't want to eat and they have tried all his favorites so this will be a battle. They still have him on a ton of pain meds so hopefully that will get reduced and still keep him comfortable he says the top of his head feels like it's flying off. Nurses say it's like a migrane x4

would love to get away for a day but this time of year DH is on snowmobile trails every weekend of oct then he takes nov off for hunting with the boys. I get my 1 all day crop on the 24th cause it is moose weekend (god I sound like a hick) so they all go north and I get to play.

Day got rearranged I'm doing field trip duty oh god help me over an hour on the bus and I have to be happy. so not that this am not enough sleep but cold is subsiding finally. So husband will be moving mill wood and sawing lumber all day by himself not ideal but dad still can't do that lifting. Note to self remind dad to check on tom especially if he's felling trees.
okay gotta go make a lunch and quick phone calls

Mornin'...been very busy with a birthday last week, a sweet 16 at the end of the month, cleaning, winterizing vehicles, house, getting winter stuff washed and in either baskets by the door or hats/gloves into bookbags.... busy, busy, busy..

Today:

get myself ready for school (volunteering)

DH was very upset about the whole bus thing. Don't get me wrong, he's still in the dog house, but he feels badly about it too. She was fine, didn't even cry, which surprised me, but she was anxious.

I'm not working today, so I'll be home this afternoon, no worries about someone being home for the bus

Volunteering at the school was fun- I spent an hour in each of the third grade classrooms- in the first one I met with 2 reading groups to go over question strategies, vocabulary, and realism vs fantasy; in the second one I meet with the top reading group to go over character and setting; and in the third I met with all 3 groups and went over sequence. I will be going in on Tuesdays and Thursday each week at least through FCAT (except when I am away).

I really enjoyed in but I still feel as though I don't have time to teach fulltime- this gives me time with students but a lot more flexability.

I think by next week I will try and have lunch at least 1 time a week with children from the church- I have to check their lunch times before I can do that.

Good Morning all!

Busy as usual I see. Not so much here - DD9 spiked a fever yesterday after school. So she is home.

Everyone is up and fed. Still in pjs though -

Guess I have to reschedule the hair appt I made
Not sure how I am going to exchange the printer cartridge to get that flyer done before meeting tonight
Really, really, really want to go look at a horse this afternoon. Why, oh why, do kids have to be sick. Woe is me Mommy moment.

And what ever happened to the side pain? Did I miss the other Dr. appt? Any relief/answers yet??

I wanna scrap with y'all!! There is a late night scrap at LSS this Friday. Guessing I am not going to make it. Maybe I will go look at my stuff!

That's fun, Rebecca. I used to volunteer in PrincessM's classroom every week in Kindergarten. I miss it (but I enjoy my free time too )

Struck out on a lot of my errands. No more rhinestones at Walmart, forgot my ACM coupon and I don't think the magnetic closures are going to work on the onesie anyhow, forgot q-tips at Target. Think I'll take a nap.

so bubba was ok this morning. no rash. so that's good. he still has to go to the dr's today for 2 more bum shots! but at least they are working.

TRM- i so still have my side pain. it's driving me to drink some days. i have a dr's appt in a couple of weeks, so we will see what he has to say. he's a neurologist. thanks for asking!

rebecca-sound like fun! i'd love to be volunteer in the class. i just sent the paper work in to do it a lunch time. and recess time.

no luck huh Jennifer. i think a nap is in order! what about the the ones you used for dit's cj? will that work??

Glad to hear Bubba did okay with no rash from the shots. Poor kid having to get more!

Yeah, well, I go to my car today after work...dead. Call DS17, he says he is on his way...call security, they jump it, I'm going...call DS17, go back home...Drive to first stop sign..car dies again...Call DS17, come up again...Call security again for a jump...tried 3 different jumper units, wouldn't jump...Do car to car from DS17's, get it going long enough to get in a spot in a lot...park...turn off the car, unload into DS17's car....wait, I left the window down...Jump it again to get the window up...DS17 drives us home... Yeesh... no walk today...glass of wine, ibuprofen and a bath is more like it!!

DH goes to work tonight, so it's his problem now

Joyah- Poor DUnc! But I do love reading about your days...my DH is a hunter too, so this time of year is all about that for him too...

I did sleep last night, from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am. I am good to go for a couple of days now. Is it possible Rebecca the volunteering job might pan out to a part time position?

Your poor Uncle. I hope he feels better soon. How did Dh do with wood? I get nervous when my DH does wood on his own or goes up on the roof with no one around.

Go shopping with MomE. Three stores and I didn't buy a thing.
The two of us had lunch with DH.
Stop at pharmacy to pick up prescription for DD, after waiting six minutes at the Drive up window before someone would come to the window, found out it was not ready but another prescription that I had cancelled two times before was.
Watched DVRd episode of Castle.
Go back to pharmacy. Prescription was ready and yes so isn't the cancelled one. I was less than kind trying to explain for the fourth time, the prescription needs to be cancelled.
Make dinner for DD, DH and I were still full from our late lunch.
