Do I really have to call at 3am?

Hi I am a newbie to the boards, we stayed at POP with free dining last year, and are taking advantage of the 5-2 at POP this year, and are paying for DP.

I want LeCellier ( Just like everyone else in the world :rotfl:) and am anxious for October 6th to roll around so I can make my ADRs. I read on this board ( or somewhere else I forget ) that people were able to make ADRs online as early as 3am. Is that true? If it is I will be setting my alarm clock for 2:45am, and look like this :surfweb: at work in the morning!

Not sure, "officially" you are able to start making ressies online at 6am EST. However some disers are reporting being able to log on at 3am and getting in, so I guess it depends on whether it happens or not.
In your title it says "call", to call in your adrs you have to wait until 7am. I am sure by then Le Ceiller will be booked as people doing it online will have the jump on you. You never know of course, but your chances are slimmer waiting to call it in.
Good luck on getting what you want. I would recommend having backups ready just incase you can't get something you want. Have fun, I did scheduling them online. I know alot of people have had tons of problems, but on my day it went so smooth I couldn't believe it and I got a couple hard ones.....Le Cellier and Chef Mickey!!

To have a chance at Le Cellier I would say to get on as early as the online system allows you to. I was able to get on at 3am at my 90 day mark .. but only for about 15 minutes .. then the system was down until a little after 6am. I was able though, in those 15 minutes, to secure Le Cellier for the date and time I wanted!

Thanks so much! I meant to say I would be using online check in, not calling. I guess I will get up really early and try to log on, I usually get up between 5am, and 6am, so it won't be that bad I guess.

I think I am going to use Les Chef's as a backup for Le Cellier. Do I you think I need back ups for all of my ADRs.

Congrats on your ADRs

Are you willing to take a chance that you won't get what you want? That is the million dollar question. I did, got everything I wanted and since then have fine tuned what my ADR's (with little problems). Would I have forever kicked myself in the shins if I didn't get what I wanted because I couldn't get my bum out of bed - absolutely! Just depends on how important it is to you.

I booked my ADRs today for our trip in 90 days (starting New Year's day). The online system was down so I called at 7 on the dot and got everything, including Le Cellier. I called back a few times later in the day to tweak things, and one of the times I called the cm mentioned that there were openings at Le Cellier in case we were interested. So don't give up hope! If you are interested in a Fantasmic package, though, I think those are even harder to get.

Wow thanks for all the advice. I will be up at 3am on Tuesday for sure, trying for those coveted Le Cellier ADRs !

I have been practicing booking and canceling ADRs using the online system, and it is not too hard. I was up at 7:30 this morning, and had a 1:10pm Le Cellier for two days before our trip, that I booked and then canceled, so there is HOPE!

And don't forget that if you don't get exactly what you want, you can go into the online reservation system at any time before your trip to see if something has opened up! :goodvibes

Best of luck....:goodvibesI got up at 245am and still had a hell of a time getting anything I wanted..But that would be because I spent over an hour just trying toget past the stupid "E" error code message..Still couldn't get Coral Reef for 12/12 and had to lie and change my party of 3 into a party of 4 to get Garden Grill for my daughters birthday...I am so glad I changed my trip from Sept to December to avoid the free dining...LOL:rotfl:

I got up at 2:50am on Friday to book NYE & I was able to get right into dining reservations at 3:00 exactly & I got what I wanted. However, I read some posts, that not long after 3:00 there were some high volume messages & people were having trouble. Since it's Le Cellier you want, I would suggest getting on right at 3am & work fast! :goodvibes

Sure...6am eastern
If the dis'er is on the west coast, they would need to be up at 3am
so ya, some Diser's would have to be up at 3am if they want to get ADR's at opening that day.

I was up at 4am this morning and booked our first reservation online. I was not able to get Crystal Palace for dinner but Chef Mickey's is a pretty good second choice in my opinion. I was surprised to see CRT was still available for an early dinner at 5:40.
We are a party of 8 and that may have limited our choices.

I was able to book my ressies for 3am EST so that would make PST 12am. GOOD LUCK!!! I would make La Cellier the first ressie to try to get! Sending some pixie dust your way pixiedust: Hope you get everything u want!

I am in the EST time zone and I was on at 3am and was able to book, so that would mean 12am for West Coast people

Exactly! My post was right below yours & as you can see I am from Mass & was able to book at 3am EST as well. ;)

I think that's because Crystal Palace will be down for refurb in Jan/Feb ... (not sure the exact dates)

Just want to echo was everyone else has said...get up and make your reservations as early as possible because I just made our reservations last week for our trip in December and I had to find a plan B for almost everything I was making reservations for.
