July 26, 2011 – 7 Night Alaska ~ Bears, Whales, Eagles and Ducks. Oh My!

Lisa, you are correct. I checked last week and was matching to flights that worked for me.

Hi everyone. Lisa yikes that was a trek with the Boston leg. Of course that caught my attention.

We took 10 days for that trip. Cape Brenton was the most beautiful place I havce ever seen! We drove a day and stayed at a B&B a day. We had lots of time to talk about life and just about everything else. Pretty incredible we still got along after only knowing each other 4 months.

While trying to fall asleep last night I thought about past cruises and that in Alaska we probably won't be as interested in ice cream sodas. I know that there is hot chocolate at the drink station. Wonder how that would be if we added some vanilla soft serve to it?

Oh! I think that would be fine!!

GIT = Geezer In Training :)

I think that it started on the WB PC repo last year when PJ...who is all of in her 20s...hung out with the older members of the group who called themselves the Geezers of the group.

Well I think my parents (Herb and Ruth) are going to be the true old geezers of the group. They will both be 67 at the time of the cruise. As a GIT training if I see any of you OG wondering about lost I will be more than happy to deliver you back to your rooms!

Ah Lisa, you are so sweet! You never knew me in my twenties, lol.

Speak for yourself Lisa!

Ice cream is ALWAYS in season!

Yep, 35, doing 36 in the middle of the atlantic, can't wait.

Hi everyone....thought I would stop in and say Hi pirate: looks like our threads are off and running:thumbsup2 I'm a GIT also...but dont tell my DH that he will use it every chance he gets:lmao: happy posting and will stop in soon again to say Hi.....

welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard!

I can't believe only ONE new passenger today?

Welcome aboard! I can't believe none of the prices for any of the cruises increased today. After the past 2 years that was refreshing but it would have been nice to get that benefit back then for the PC & TA.

Oh, and WELCOME, Tink!! :dance3:

Thank you. :flower3:

I was really pleased that there was still room for us on one of the Alaska cruises, let alone the fact that the prices had stayed the same! By the time our TA got to our request for the WBPC Repo in 2008, the ship was already full! Luckily we got onboard at exactly one year out, but of course, the cost was much higher than if we'd booked on Day 1.

Were you on our thread for the May 2008 WB Repo? Obviously you were on the ship, but I just don't remember . . .

Yes, I was, but I have not posted on the "Ship of Thieves - Remember the Magic" threads very often. :)

The WBPC Repo was our very first cruise, so we were not involved in many of the Dis events since we didn't really know what to expect of cruising. We did go to the pyjama breakfast though!

I am thinking we should do a flannel pj breakfast on this cruise. I am over Palo brunch and I am thinking a group breakfast in Tritons would be fun.
