I am just in the final stages of editing photos for my pre-paid Photopass CD.
This was pre-purchased in May 2009 for our recent visit in August. It clearly states International shipping $0.00, however, online checkout request $17 for shipping. I sent Disney an email to query this and got the following reply...

Thank you for your recent visit to DisneyPhotoPass.com.

As of February 24,2009 , shipping is no longer included in the Pre-Purchase PhotoCD offer.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

New shipping rule applied in February......CD ordered 3 months later in May, yet still showing FREE shipping

Anyone else has similar problems? :confused3

We had the shipping added, but then we decided to order a couple of extra items anyway and the shipping didn't go up. We knew some people seemed to have been charged it and others had got it for free, so we weren't too surprised.

But if you had only heard of people getting free shipping then I'm not surprised you were miffed!

This is catching a lot of people out because the $0.00 shipping when you pre-pay refers to shipping of the code not the CD that you are actually ordering. The small print on the order page does state:

Coupon codes do not include cost of shipping, sales tax (if applicable), or additional Photo Book pages.

Not so bad for me(although I still didn't see it on their site) as its our 1st year doing photopass and had read about the fee but for people like Nigel its his third year of doing it so thought it was included as in past years. Not clear enough for my liking.

ps. totally fed up of editing pics, over 2,000 and still not done, have til Friday to complete.

Yup, I had to pay shipping on a prepaid one and that was in 2008. Still saves money but it is a lot of money to ship one or two CDs.

We now have over 2,000,

:scared1: I have limited ours to 1 overlay per photo , so just sent for around 740

I bet the refresh rate of the website is slow when you are near the end of the pictures :lmao:
As I got to end the last few of our 300+ pics it was taking an age for the pics to refresh along the bottom of the page :surfweb:

Worst was the MK folder, a lot of pics taken there. So slow I couldn't do it on shop connection, still slow at home but managed.

Ironically, my DTD folder has the most photos in so far - 181 straight photos, none edited yet. The BBB was empty, even on party day, so the Photopass photographers were going crazy with the few of us that were actually there. Had to have been at least half empty, and as soon as our appointment was over, they had about another hour before ANY appointments! :scared1:

Thankfully, I've been editing our photos while we've been on holiday, so while I still have quite a few to do, a lot have already been done! Definitely makes things easier if you can do as you go!

Like Nigel we limited it to one border per pic otherwise it would of taken until next year to do them! started with 460 pics and ended up with 920. As we speak Wendy is stil putting them into the albums!. We had to pay the 17 dollars postage aswell, but couldnt fault the service ordered the disc last friday at about 4.pm it was delivered monday morning 9.00 am.

Hi Nigel hows it going mate - did you enjoy the cruise?

We always get our pics developed on line, we use mypix the service and qaulity is always good only thing is obviuosly being on line you have to upload all the pics in the first place - it took me 2 full days at work to get them uploaded. Price wise if you buy as individual prints they are about 10 or 11 pence each but you can buy a bulk pack which makes them a bit cheaper and they very often send e mails with half price offers etc. We bought 600 prints for about £35 quid but they were on buy one get one free so 1200 prints for about £35.
Just checked and 6 x 4 prints are on half price at the moment 5 pence each think you will struggle to find much cheaper than that:thumbsup2 although if they are cheaper anywhere our great freindly travel agent Wayne Egg travel will know, dont know if you noticed but he loves a bargain:rotfl2:

No problem, I haven't printed pics off for about 5 years but I know some still do. Only view pics on PC.
