Umm, Ok I have never heard of anybody brushing their teeth in the shower. Interesting.

In the shower? That kind of skeeves me out. I've never heard of anyone brushing their teeth in the shower before.

I mean just the logistics of it kind of throw me. Where would you keep your toothbrush and the toothpaste?

Sink....but only the bathroom sink. I've seen people here at work us the break room/kitchen sink....... My mom would have jerked a knot in our tail if we spit in the kitchen sink.

Always the sink. Sorry, but I think brushing your teeth in the shower is gross. My brother and I always had that fight, because he likes to brush them in the shower and keep the brush and paste in there as well. I was always moving them back!:rotfl:

MTE!

Also...how would you NOT get toothpaste spit on your feet? :crazy2:

My shower is just a shower, though, not a bathtub, so maybe in a tub, you could avoid the spit getting on you if you stood "upstream"??

Exactly! And what about the flying soap? Wouldn't your toothbrush get a layer of soap scum? Yuk!

Spit away from yourself??? :lmao:

OK, I have to admit, when I met DH he introduced me to tooth brushing in the shower. I thought it was the most disgusting thing ever - wouldn't the brush get moldy or something???? DH, however, is the biggest clean freek EVER, so I figured it was OK, and now almost 10 years later, I'm still doing it, and I've survived to tell the tale!!! :rotfl:
Yeah, I use the sink at times too, but every single morning, we brush our teeth in the shower.

To answer your question....... We have a shower that has shelves pretty high up, and they are just UNDER the shower head, and thats where the toothbrush and paste is kept. I've never tasted soap on the brush..... I don't know, I kind of think its a good thing because (the way I do it) I think I'm actually saving water. I brush while I'm doing other things, so its like killing two birds with one stone.

Sink.

I've never really heard of shower-teeth-brushing before.

Not so sure I'd be into using warm/hot water for teeth brushing.
:sad2:

Neither had I, 'til I met my fiance...^_^

LOL, I get that part, but in my shower, I'm standing directly over the drain. So even if I spit away from me, it would still swirl around my feet before going down the drain. Even if I moved away from the drain, it's not really big enough to escape the water running around your feet on its way to the drain, plus then I wouldn't be under the water and I'd get cold - lol.

I'm thinking it would not be so gross in a tub, as the drain is at the end, away from where one would stand.

Makes sense. I turn off the water while I brush.

My DH is tall so he gets shampoo pretty high up there when he is rinsing.

Sink. Turn the water off while you're brushing to save water.

Brushing in the shower is a major water waster.

See, I thought that too, HOWEVER...... I do other things while I brush my teeth. For example, my hair is really curly, so I have to leave the conditioner in there for a while. Thats when I brush my teeth. I would be just standing there no matter what - now I'm doing something else.

And to the person whos skeeved out about spitting in the shower (Sorry, I forget who it was!!) So what - your still IN THE SHOWER!!!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sink, I wasn't aware there would even be a choice :confused3

In the bathroom sink.

I think it's just a waste of water to brush your teeth in the shower.

I think shaving in the shower, for both men and women, is also a waste of water.

Unless you shut the shower off to brush your teeth and shave, but I doubt that anyone does that.
