Well it's T-minus 13 days and counting so I figured I would start our next PTR...plus I just finished our last TR (FROM JUNE!!)
My mom and I are very lucky, not only to work together and travel frequently, but to have the BEST Disney Obsessed boss ever!!! When we found out there was a conference on the same topic as a new project we have...AND it was in Orlando...well who could turn us down!
The WHO:
Me! I am rapidly approaching my 30th birthday and will no longer be announcing my age in my TR's! I'm a frequent flier to Disney, a former Cast Member and Disney specialized travel agent. I am also a Bride-to-Be (the real mission of our trip!).
My fav's:
Magic Kingdom...holds a special place in my heart. I was a CM on Main St.
World Showcase (especially Bellini's from Italy!)
Rock n' Roller Coaster
The Grand Floridian
The Mom:
Disney obsessed as well...to bad she didn't catch the fever when I was a kid!! Mom and I have been doing Disney since I was 18. Dad doesn't really care for Disney and brother would rather be traveling the world. So Mom and I try to make it to Disney or NYC at least once a year! Last year we did both!
Mom's Fav's:
Chocolate Croissant's from Sunshine Seasons
Soarin'
World Showcase
Buzz Light Year (MK)...except she won't play the game, she just likes to spin!
The Fiance:
Eric... Eric's first trip as an adult, and second trip EVER was this past June. I knew he would have a good time but never knew HOW good of a time he would have. He absolutely fell in love and can't wait to go back!! He has insisted we go at least twice a year!!
Eric's Fav's:
Animal Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and more Animal Kingdom!
Anything with Animatronics
Whispering Canyon Cafe's Skillet
The WHY:
The conference of course! Did I mention though...that it's perfect timing for our wedding planning session with Disney's Fairytale Weddings? It was perfect actually. And because it's a company sponsored trip...during free dining, all we had to pay for was Eric's airfare and park ticket!! We are staying at Disney's All-Star Music resorts with free dining and 7-day base tickets.
The WHEN:
September 28-October 4, 2010
Monday- Arrive at MCO around 4 p.m., check-in and ADRs at the Turf Club.
Tuesday- I think I am most excited about this day!!
8 a.m. is my hair and make-up trial with Janet from On Site Beauty http://www.onsitebeauty.com/
11:00 a.m. we are meeting Randy Chapman for engagement pictures at Disneys Boardwalk
1:00 p.m. Planning session with Disneys Fairytale Weddings!!
We have no dinner plans since we are doing a tasting. We will probably head to EPCOT and snack around the world
Wednesday- Conference till 3. Head to MK and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern
Thursday- Conference till 4:30 p.m. Dinner at Raglan Road
Friday- Conference till noon. Dinner at Mama Melroses (moms fav!)
Saturday- Animal Kingdom. Dinner at California Grill
Sunday- EPCOT and then head to the airport
This is the first trip we have taken with Mom and Eric. I actually think they will get along really well.
I also have to mention I am so proud of my mom for quitting smoking!! One of the problems we have had in the past at Disney is always stopping for a smoke break. Not only do we not have to worry about that but she is getting healthier!!
