Well it's T-minus 13 days and counting so I figured I would start our next PTR...plus I just finished our last TR (FROM JUNE!!)

My mom and I are very lucky, not only to work together and travel frequently, but to have the BEST Disney Obsessed boss ever!!! When we found out there was a conference on the same topic as a new project we have...AND it was in Orlando...well who could turn us down!

The WHO:
Me! I am rapidly approaching my 30th birthday and will no longer be announcing my age in my TR's! I'm a frequent flier to Disney, a former Cast Member and Disney specialized travel agent. I am also a Bride-to-Be (the real mission of our trip!).

My fav's:
Magic Kingdom...holds a special place in my heart. I was a CM on Main St.
World Showcase (especially Bellini's from Italy!)
Rock n' Roller Coaster
The Grand Floridian

The Mom:
Disney obsessed as well...to bad she didn't catch the fever when I was a kid!! Mom and I have been doing Disney since I was 18. Dad doesn't really care for Disney and brother would rather be traveling the world. So Mom and I try to make it to Disney or NYC at least once a year! Last year we did both!

Mom's Fav's:
Chocolate Croissant's from Sunshine Seasons
Soarin'
World Showcase
Buzz Light Year (MK)...except she won't play the game, she just likes to spin!:lmao:

The Fiance:
Eric...:lovestruc Eric's first trip as an adult, and second trip EVER was this past June. I knew he would have a good time but never knew HOW good of a time he would have. He absolutely fell in love and can't wait to go back!! He has insisted we go at least twice a year!!
ry%3D400

Eric's Fav's:
Animal Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and more Animal Kingdom!
Anything with Animatronics
Whispering Canyon Cafe's Skillet:rotfl:

The WHY:
The conference of course! Did I mention though...that it's perfect timing for our wedding planning session with Disney's Fairytale Weddings?:lovestruc It was perfect actually. And because it's a company sponsored trip...during free dining, all we had to pay for was Eric's airfare and park ticket!! We are staying at Disney's All-Star Music resorts with free dining and 7-day base tickets.

The WHEN:
September 28-October 4, 2010

Monday- Arrive at MCO around 4 p.m., check-in and ADR’s at the Turf Club.
Tuesday- I think I am most excited about this day!!
8 a.m. is my hair and make-up trial with Janet from On Site Beauty http://www.onsitebeauty.com/
11:00 a.m. we are meeting Randy Chapman for engagement pictures at Disney’s Boardwalk
1:00 p.m. Planning session with Disney’s Fairytale Weddings!!
We have no dinner plans since we are doing a tasting. We will probably head to EPCOT and snack around the world
Wednesday- Conference till 3. Head to MK and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern
Thursday- Conference till 4:30 p.m. Dinner at Raglan Road
Friday- Conference till noon. Dinner at Mama Melroses (mom’s fav!)
Saturday- Animal Kingdom. Dinner at California Grill
Sunday- EPCOT and then head to the airport 

This is the first trip we have taken with Mom and Eric. I actually think they will get along really well.

I also have to mention…I am so proud of my mom for quitting smoking!! One of the problems we have had in the past at Disney is always stopping for a smoke break. Not only do we not have to worry about that but she is getting healthier!!

So what will Eric do while you and your mom are at the conference?

Eric goes to college and is taking a few online classes. The workload is very heavy so it actually works out this way. He will do homework while we are at the conference and then we will all hit the parks at night!

Good plan. :)

So if you have read any of my other posts you'd know that my brother has spent the last year in S. Korea teaching English. He is home now...probably temporary as he is now looking at going to Saudia Arabia to teach:sad2:

So anyway, we had talked about him coming to Florida with us but weren't sure if he would have a job by now or have left the country again. But I brought up the trip yesterday and he said he would like to come! WHOHOOO!!

I couldn't get him on the same flight as we are but he arrives within 20 minutes. The only bummer is he misses out on our last day....which we are really only there till about noon anyway. We added him to our reservation so we all have free dining!! The only thing is our ADR's but I figure they are for 3 anyway...they would probably seat us at a 4-top so we should be safe! Plus there is always F&W Festival if we can't find somewhere to eat :rotfl:

The Baby Brother:
Almost 27...worldly traveler! It's funny, he actually did the CP with me back in 2001 but got homesick (there was a girl...) and left after just 2 months. Now, we can't get him to even stay in the country! He's lives in Australia, Ireland, Morocco and S. Korea. Next up...Saudia Araba or China.:headache: My brother is one of the smartest people I know...he loves to make his own wine and read classic literature. My brother is also known as Big Mike...he's a very large guy with a lot of tattoos:upsidedow

Favs:
Not sure he has any...nothing he HAS to do. He always has a good time when we go though:thumbsup2

How exciting! I'm glad he's going along. My brother hasn't been to a Disney park since we were younger. He really isn't a fan and doesn't understand why my husband and I love Disneyland/WDW so much.

Since your brother is on your reservation, does that mean all four of you are sharing one room?

Now your brother gets to go too!:sad1::sad1::sad1::sad1:

It's a VERY good thing my friend from home is coming out that week or I would just be sad all week long!

Gasp! This is where you have been hiding! I was wondering why I had nothing to read in your PJ this morning... turns out you were over here! :rotfl: This will be a fun trip for sure!

Yea...haven't had many updates lately. 9 days and counting!!!

Eeek! How are the sleeping arrangements going to go? Can you get a rollaway bed or something? Are the beds there Full or Queens?

It's not a big deal really. We are going to get my brother an air mattress, my mom has one bed and Eric and I have the other. My brother is a MAJOR night owl...doesn't usually go to bed until 5 or 6 in the morning. That actually works out since Wed, Thur, Fri we are going to be gone at the conference and he has all day to sleep (in a bed). We aren't in the room that much anyway.

So what did you decide to wear for you pictures? What is Eric wearing? How long does it take to get the photos back? I hope you post some!!

Will your mom and brother go to the parks while you guys are doing all of your planning stuff?

Also, I forgot to say it before - congrats to your mom for quitting smoking! My dad quit a while back. Now I just wish my mom would quit too.

I am wearing a teal sundress with matching shoes and Eric is wearing a red polo with Khaki shorts. I think the colors go well with the Boardwalk and Randy said to wear solid colors.

My mom and brother probably won't go anywhere since we will only be with Randy for an hour. Plus we don't have park hoppers and we aren't quite sure where we are going that night.

My brother is still a smoker and I wish he would quit too!
