Just had a horrible thought

At the Saratoga do you get air conditioning????

Whilst we are there we will probably need to use the washer/dryer in the room, is the cost of using it included, or do we have to pre pay???

No idea about washers but yes you get Aircon.
In 16 years never stayed anywhere in Florida without Aircon, even the £15/night rooms have it.

As far as I am aware all villas at DVC resorts come with their own washer and drier, we certainly had one at the Boardwalk, the only thing I am not sure about is if you get these with a studio.
You get a small supply of detergent too.

Aircon is there too - I would imagine every motel, hotel or anywhere have air conditioning.

Da,da,daaaaahhhhh! DVC owner at SSR to the rescue!

All rooms have air con (Though I can't vouch for the treehouse villas I assume they do too) and all rooms except Studio rooms have a washer and dryer you can use for free (Well, the cost is part of the room rate, but there's nothing extra to pay).

If you are in a studio, there is also a laundry room on site that to my knowledge is a standard "put the quarter's in the slot" type machine. I believe you need to use your room key to access the laundry room.

Two bed villa, those are nice, you'll really like it. Make sure to make use of the whirlpool bath, it's great afte a long day at the parks...

You learn somthin' new every day. Never stayed in a studio in SSR so didn't know they were free, just that the studios didn't have washers/dryers.

Hmmm, two bedroom suite.... *drool*

Actually I'm doing my first Studio in AKL next March so I get my first experience of the communal Laundry room then...

Same at OKW I presume? Never knew that, we paid nightly rate so not DVC members. Mousekeeping left us a box of power for washing but never used it, if DW had known they were free she might have thrown a load in.

Although we loved our stay at OKW I did find info they give you for the resort is not good, Only used the bus service once to get to Hoop but had to ask how it worked, no info about it. Even CM didn't know things, for eg I had read on here you could get a bus back direct to OKW from Hoop, CM told me not possible, would have to get back same way as we went( 1hr 15mins) In reality there was a bus just for Port Orleans resorts & OKW back in 20 mins. Prices for rentals, would be good to have in room, not have to go find out, lots of other stuff, no info.
