I think I am going to book Cypress Pointe Grande Villas this weekend if I can just pluck up the courage to - as I'm terribly indecisive.

I can get it on Alpharooms with 5% cashback for £344 (price includes cashback discount)

Our dates are Wednesday 7th July - 14th July 2010.

2 Adults + 3 Children (16,10,5)

I want to book 7 nights as I think I will book one night onsite at Universal.

Would really really appreciate some help in chasing down the best price for this resort as I think the price here will only go one way - up.

Cheers everyone :goodvibes

Just searched a few of my usual sites, nothing any cheaper on them. Looks about best deal just now but some sites anre not quoting next July yet, others that are quoting are expensive. £50/night is not cheap for but not OTT, I usually book hotels in the New year for August, always seem to get good prices around then. If its exactly what you want then might be worth paying the few £ more and booking now. I would wait but its a lot easier being a family with 1 child, a lot more choice.

Thanks Wayne, your a star! Travel Republic and Alpharooms both have this listed around the same price. Who do they both book through and is there one more "safer" than the other?

ack!!! just seen Extended Stay Deluxe I-Drive for £216 (inc. free transport to parks + breakfast) - told you I was indecisive.

Never used Travel republic but its been going over 20 years, I know many used them no problem.
Alpharooms 10 years old, used them a few times for both Florida and California.
Both ABTA, I would not hesitate to use either, pay by credit card to be 100% safe.

Never stayed at either place but I know Cypress Pointe gets good reviews from most people, dont know anything about Extended stay but don't think it will be in same league as CP.

just to say thankyou very much for the information - I booked Cypress Pointe Resort for our 2nd week next July £360 via travelrepublic. I would have been kicking myself I hadn't booked and the price had went up.

Anyway just to say I really appreciated the time taken to reassure me :)

Have a lovely weekend to you both.
