If you faxed IC earlier this year with a request for a 2011 cruise, check your CC accounts upcoming cruises section. I don't know if It's because I included a Reservation # for transfer and/or because my gold status but it is showing that I'm booked on the Wonder's PC Repo.

Unfortunately, I'm still going to have to call on monday because after seeing the Dates for the repo, we are no longer interested and plan on booking an Alaska itinerary. After seeing the price they are asking for that Cat. T :scared1:, I think we would have changed our minds anyway.

What have you heard about pricing? As far as I knew none was being released till 9/21. Enquiring minds want to know! :lmao:

This is what is showing in my DCL Castaway Club account. Bolded items edited out by me. :)

What's Cat. T?
Did they change the categories when I wasn't paying attention?

OMG! $19 K!!! I'm glad you got it. I wouldn't pay that much, but then, that's why I don't book the Walt Suite! Thanks for sharing.

This is a cat 3?????? I truly thought it must be the cat 1!

Okay, that's outrageous, even if you were booking the Walt Suite.

I know!! Especially for a Cat. T (former Cat. 3). By digging around I found the pp. rate breakdown. It may give folks some idea on what to expect for Wonder PC Repo pricing.

Price Breakdown
Stateroom
Guest 1 $6,199.00
Guest 2 $6,199.00
Guest 3 $2,019.00
Guest 4 $1,899.00
Guest 5 $1,899.00
Government Taxes & Fees (Cruise) $920.90
Total $19,135.90

My girls ages at time of the cruise will be 14, 9 and 7

I'm not paying that!! :scared1: I'm shocked by the prices. We had already decided the dates didn't work for our girls schedule so we are planning on Alaska.

I don't even want to imagine what the Cat. R's will cost, recently they have been almost 50% more that Cat. Ts.

Go on the cruise .... or buy a car ..... or pay for a couple of years of college tuition .... WOW that price is crazy :scared1:

It's cool that you can see that. I faxed a letter to IC for a secret veranda on a non-special cruise. But their reply didn't have a reservation number so I can't find anything on the website.

I faxed IC, and when I check my CC account it shows that my honeymoon in 2001 is listed as:

05/17/01 - 05/20/01 15-Night Panama Canal Westbound Cruise Port Canaveral, Florida Disney Wonder

:confused3 I was on the Wonder then, but i'm pretty sure it was the Bahamas, and not a 15 night cruise.

I know the ship can travel fast, but a PC in 3 days :confused3

I am taking it as a good sign we are on the waiting list - though with those prices :scared1: we will be looking elsewhere for our travel plans that year.

Its doing the same thing for me. It shows the october 06 western I was on as a 15 PC WB. I didn't request Panama. Maybe it just means IC is messing around with our accounts?

Hi. Thanks for posting this.

We faxed IC too for this cruise (like you, we are rethinking because of the dates).

I checked my upcoming cruises, and alas, nothing listed for us though. Can I ask you what CC level you are? We are lowly silver.

To be honest, I don't think that $12.4K for 2 adults isn't THAT bad for Disney in a suite for 15 nights. The per-diem rate is certainly less than the 5-nighter we have scheduled. Notice I said that bad for DCL. :lmao:

Now I will be curious to see what they charge for 4/17/11 .. the 10-night MR cruise.

We are Gold.

Like you, my DH didn't think the price was too bad. He figured that the per diem rate pp for our family of 5 was around $250 pp per day. He pointed out that for that rate you get room ( a very nice room), all meals, entertainment and child care. Of course, I had to point out we could get all that at half the price on another line. LOL

Now, I'm really anxious to see the Alaska prices on Monday. We would love to get the same Midship Cat. T.

Just for a point of comparison, we were on the EB Repo last year and our boys were 15, 15 & 11. We had two CAT 8s and paid around $160 per person per day not including air, insurance or transfers. In 2005, the EB Repo pp price for two CAT 8s was $115 no air, insurance or transfers. I thought the increase from 2005 to 2008 was pretty high but it looks like 2011 might really be a whopper!!! :scared1:

This actually sounds about right to me. For an 11-night Med in April 2010 in a cat 3, I was quoted just over $11K for two adults. $1500 more for three additional days on a highly sought after cruise is in line with standard pricing in my opinion.
