Glad that Z2H now posts her schedule on the Daily Grind threads - I usually read about it here first! (Sigh.)

Has everyone heard the news she told me yesterday about the great new changes coming to WDW Fantasyland in 2012? (Doubling in size, etc....) Here's a link to learn more. There will be lots more fun stuff to scrap (and I'll be able to finally *really* use the TinkerBell & Friends cart I bought!)

I am up and downstairs and am planning to be a little more active everyday this week...

Up and caffienate
Kids off to school
Doctor's appointment
maybe go out for a late breakfast with dh (still not driving so dh is my chauffer today)
Address and mail off thank you notes
Package to AWM
Package to MUK
Tidy back parlour
Tidy kitchen
Dust first floor
Get DS to vacum first floor
Ice and rest foot

I think I should stop here...I've learned the hard way not to overdo things...

Oooh, that Fantasyland rehab looks AWESOME! I hope we can go in 2012!

Okay, I need to breathe...I won't go into deets, because I wouldn't be able to keep my language clean, but suffice it to say that my DH is making me crazy! OMG, he never ever ever listens to me and he's being a PIMA about helping out so I can work 3 days a week instead of 4 (and save $ on gas, etc.). I can't do it all on my own!

It looks awesome- I can't wait to see it as each section comes online- I forsee lots of trips with DH for class.

We have now decided to heck w/ a graduation party for DD...we are going to throw her party @ WDW!!!

DD is on board; DH not so much.. yet!

4H meeting at 7
Dinner - I think roasted chicken. Wish I could make beer butt chicken!

Meetings this week - Mon, Tues, Wed. Gotta get in some riding lessons. DD has a horse show this weekend and did not ride last week at all due to County Fair.

Gotta remember to drop off my mail in drivers license renewal.

i know this feeling! when we were having bus issues i could have decked my dh! i feel your pain!

that fantasyland land thing looks awesome. i so need to be there in 2012!

Holly it's all in the eggs too the fresher the better and that's hard unless you buy from a farmer. You can usually mask it with mustard (yellow or spicy brown). and sometimes even down to the mayo used we hate miracle whip and use only hellmans even then the green stripe (reduced fat maybe?) isn't as good as the real or light.
you'll get there there are somethings Toms mom made that I'd love and don't have the recipie it was all in her head.

thursday was eggsalad day for mom and bubba. he tells me all the time that i just don't make it like her!
i hope he always remembers that they had thursdays & eggsalad!

time to start a new tradition that's special to you and him. That way eggsalad is special to Nene. He's also still young and taste buds change all the time at that age (eric ate ham salad for months then decided he hated it) last year.
Hang in there alot of it is him expressing how much he misses her, expressions are so hard at that age. We know we want to stomp and cry and act like little kids cause it's not fair they just have a mess of feelings inside they don't know what to do with.

DH's mom showed me how to make a few of her recipes... I never got the one for what DH calls lemon butter, serve it with fish. Well, I've tried everything, and asked everyone, looked in really old recipe books...nope, it's not "Mom's Lemon Butter"

She did show me how to make her mom's creamed chipped beef though. When her brother would visit, and when he was living with us, DUnc96, I would make it for him. It was a blast from HIS past and he loved it!! He would sit and smile... Food memories are very strong, that man was 96 and it took him back to his mom's kitchen

that's my mom's mac and cheese. nobody makes it like her. i try. my bil and sil LOVE my mom's mac and cheese. some people just have the knack to make certain things. i can't make my mil's meat pie. i've tried and tried. i gave up on that one!
