Hi Matey! You saw the one I started... I tried to change the title to B2B, but couldn't figure out how to do it!

Anyway... YES! we are hoping to do this cruise!

Come on DCL, PLEASE put the prices out there for us to plan!

We were on the Magic 7-day Western when the news came out. Hoping we can book on DVC points on 9-28.

Hi Bonzie1,

Did you see the press release on DCL site? They're teasing $939 pp for a standard inside (so Cat 12???). I'm guessing a Deluxe Oceanview would be $500-$700 pp more. http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/whats-new/disney-wonder-bound-for-alaska-in-2011/

Have you heard or seen anything on the Disney Dream's maiden voyage? We know it's coming to the Caribbean and Captain Tom will be in command. During the Castaway Club gathering onboard, we heard Feb 2011 for the launch in Germany. I spoke to Captain Tom after and asked if the first itinerary was Trans-Atlantic or Caribbean. He wouldn't say. He just said to be ready for an announcement. That was a couple days before they announced Alaska for the Wonder, but I'm not finding anything on the inaugural cruise for the Dream.

My wife (LuvBaloo) and I are hoping to do this one. As well as the one bringing her up to Canada on April 27 and make it a B2B.

Guess we'll find out on the 28th as we can't book early either.

Hey Ken...

Remember I told you I'd follow you anywhere???

I'm here... :rotfl:

Had to follow DH onto this thread too!

I'm really hoping we can get onto these cruises.:goodvibes

Hey Shannon!!! :yay: :yay:

I don't think these first 2 cruises are going to be tough to get on... most kids will still be in school...

Hi Mateys!
We're hoping to do the 4/27 and 5/3 B2B. We'll see... have been pestering DVC and DCL for points/prices.
I don't see why they make these big announcments and then are not prepared with proper info.... Are we really expected to call and book without knowing what we're getting into beforehand?? :confused3 Obviously YES! It will make booking day a hundred times more difficult if we only find out the prices when on the phone! COME ON DCL!!!!
Okay.. stepping down off my soapbox.....
:rolleyes1

I agree they should be putting some more information out ahead of time. Unfortunately, they will still get sales with little information, so they have no motivation to change how they do things.

Hopefully I'll do better booking this cruise than I did the last WB PC cruise.
DH and I got up early to be online right on time. We got on a couple minutes too early, and ended up accidentally booking a transatlantic repo. :scared1: Then spent 2 hours on the phone to fix the mistake. Oh well, it got fixed, we got on the right cruise and now its time for another one :goodvibes

HI Leslie!!

Say Hi to Stefan Logan from a BC Lions fan. Hope he brings you much success.

I see my better half has already mentioned our thoughts on the bookings. Which is pretty much the same as yours.

I'm curious why the Alaska one is $300 more expensive for the basic price point than the ones out of LA for the Mexico cruises?? I thought Alaskan cruises were usually cheaper ones....

Ohhhhh that's like expecting to log on at 90 days and being able to get in and get Palo... :lmao:

So true, however, for us anyway, things have always seem to work out by booking time. Patience.:goodvibes

The deposit is $600 per person per cruise!:scared1:Maybe they are trying to weed out the people that will double book or cancel.:confused3
