So I sent a check to get my shirts on 8/31. It was just confirmed delivered TODAY! What a pita! I hope she has enough time to get the shirts done. I asked for 7, and that is a lot of work! I am so excited to see them.

So OT- I think I may have to quit my new job. I need a babysitter 2 days and 2 night this week. My mom is doing it this week, but if I had to PAY someone, it would cost me over $380 easy. She is upset that she has to do it this much this week, and I don't blame her. Usually it is 2 nights, and every other week it is 2 nights and 2 days. If I hire a w/e sitter it will cost me about $200 for all three kids. It is really not financially feasible for me to work if we have to pay that much for childcare. I am trying to swing it. but IDK what I can do.

Now my throat hurts...

Terry is on hold with our Dr office after hours trying to get me an appointment... I looked up the symptoms for swine flu and I have a few of them, but not all of them... No fever, vomiting or diarrhea... I am hoping that means I don't have it, but I am not taking any chances with us flying out in 6 days... Hopefully the Drs office won't be dumb and say oh we'll get back to you, swear... Then never call us back like they are known to do... I had to get all ghetto on them yesterday and had planned on continuing this morning trying to get Terry his hiccup medication... Yup, you heard that right, Terry has hiccup medication... He has an overactive diaphragm and it can cause hiccups that hang around for several days at a time with out medication, and they actually get very painful and of course annoying... It feels like someone is punching him in the chest every 5 to 10 seconds...

Anywho... Hopefully they will get me in, otherwise I will head down to Salem Hospital Urgent Care this evening and get looked at...

And of course, today is the kids first day of school... And I am going to miss it... Tailor has her getting to know you day today, and Alec has his first day of 5th grade...

My son is home with swine flu; I hope you don't have it! Everyone's symptoms are varying; some just have a fever and sore throat (like my son), some have the whole shebang. They're considering 100 degrees a fever for H1N1.

Hopefully you just caught a bug that'll pass quickly!

Do you know how long he is contagious after he got on the meds? I am totally paranoid that they are not got to let me fly on Tuesday...

Oh My Terry and Toni!! Only 6 days!!! YAY!! Toni ~ I hope you are feeling better! I can't wait to read about your trip when you get back! I am going to do a TR, but it will be an overview of our trip...I didn't take any notes!?!?! But oh well...it was our first trip....who had time for note taking!!!

All they have said is to let him stay home for 24 hours after the fever breaks and he feels completely better. He'll be out of school for the whole of this week. Everything they told me seems to center around his fever, so I'm hoping you have a seasonal cold or something!

Oh...didn't your pre trip somehow get moved to a different board at one point? I just noticed my pre trip was moved over to 'completed' and I can't update it! Just PMed the mods to move it back!

Yay!!! For the documents!! So glad you finally got them!!!

Sure hope you are feeling better soon!!! I can tell from what you are saying, it does not sound like you have the swine flu to me!!! My brother came home from college in April and was diagnosed with it shortly after he got home!!! Fever is one of the main indicators along with restpitory issues. Think you just have a cold, cause I have one too. Honestly, when my brother had it, he could not even pick his head up off the pillow, that is how sick he was!!! He was extremely sick for a good month! And as another poster said, after 24 hours of the fever breaking you are no longer contagious.

Try to get some rest and relax!!! You're going to Disney in 6 days!!! Woo Hoo!!1

I went to the doctor and I will be fine, just a virus... I actually feel fine right now, a little warm but no fever...

I also was able to get Terry the medicine he needs for his hiccups so we don't have to worry about that while we are gone...

Tailor had a great first day of kindergarten today... I didn't even cry...

We are trying to get things around the house done since we are leaving our house in just 5 short days...

6 days! for you guys I think I will be getting excited for my trip after this weekend.

Glad you got your documents and that you don't have Swine flu! How's the weather looking for the trip? I was actually watching the weather channel last night at like almost 11:30 pm.
I got my son all packed except for his shoes, now I just need to do mine! I am wayyy ahead of schedule in that area so thats good. Now I just need to get REALLY excited about the trip.

Oh yeah and on the 20th (HS day) I will definatley be wearing a SF 49ers drawstring backpack with the number 21 and the name Gore on it. I think I should be easy to spot.

Ah!!! Tailor started kindergarten today??? They grow up so fast!!! Devon started 2nd grade today!!! I think I was more nervous then he was!!! Apparently he had a good day though! So that's a good sign!!!

So green with envy that you leave in 5 days and I still have 12!!! BOO!!! I want to go now!!! Patience has never been my strong suit!!
