Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Question, sorry if this has already been asked but I could not find it anywhere.

If I book online I can get the print out of all my ressies, however, if I book by phone, can I then retrieve those confirm numbers on line too?:confused3

Yes. I booked half online and half by phone and I was able to pull them all up on the same screen. Then I emailed the whole list to myself (there is an option to do so on this "confirmation" screen.

You just have pull up each reservation separately, but they will all appear on the same screen at the end. Also, you need the confirmation number for each along with the phone number it was booked under. (So make sure you write down the confirmation numbers the CM gives you.) I had a slight problem with this as the Disney computers keep reverting back to a phone number I had over 7 years ago (despite my changing it several times with them). Anyway, I now remember that number like it is still mine. So if the system can't find your reservation(s), try old phone numbers you might have given them a long time ago, it might work!!! :rotfl:

Good Morning!

After I set up my ADR's this morning - I was on the confirmation screen (there were confirm numbers and I put down my CC already) my window closed out when I went to print. The website is not working very well...is there a way to get my confirmation numbers???

Does anyone know what number I call to complain to Disney about not adding Bay Lake Towers to the list? I can't even get my reservation to come up because they don't have it as a selection.

7) Once you do this, then open up multiple tabs on your internet browser. Sometimes referred to as tabbed browsing. I personally have Windows IE, and I am sorry, but I know nothing about any other type of browser. I only know that mine allows for tabbed browsing. Open tabs equal to the number of restaurants you want to make adr's for. (I opened up 9 tabs). For each tab, go to the restaurant you want.

This was why I suggested waking up so early. For me personally, it took me a while to get each tab to the restaurant I wanted.

8) If you still have time before 6 am on the atomic clock, go ahead and enter times and party size. When it comes time to refresh, you may have to re-enter the information, you may not. It depends on your computer. But if you don't have to re-enter, it may save you time to do it now.

9) At 6 am on the dot, make sure you are on the tab with the restaurant of your first choice - that is the one that you absolutely, positively must have. Refresh that page, and click on the calendar. The calendar should (I repeat should) open up the first date of your stay, and 10 days after that. You will know if it has done this, by scrolling over the calendar days, and seeing that it will allow you to click on those 10 days.

10) Click on the date you want to make the adr, enter the time, and the party size. Then click on check availability button at the bottom of the page. The computer will tell you it is checking, then produce answers for you. At the very top of the page, if the restaurant you want is available, it will show you what times are available. If the time you wanted is not available, it will give you some close times. If there is no availability at all, it will tell you so. It will also give you some other choices. Make your selection, and add it to your cart. You will then see that the "item" is in your cart.

11) Go ahead and do the same for all the other tabs you want.

Thanks for the info. That helped a lot! I'm clear on everything except one thing - When I open new tabs, select a different restaurant for each tab, select a time, and then place it in my cart, the restaurant from a previous tab doesn't show up. Is that right or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for all of the info - I'm new at the online ressies! :flower3:

I'm in the same boat and getting pretty po'd about it!! Good luck to you - I'm going to call them also.

So, is anyone getting up at stupid o'clock to test out if yesterday's reports that the online system opened earlier than 6am are true or just a glitch created by the updates?

I was playing around with ADR's and noticed the December calendar is only up to December 4th, shouldn't December 5th be available for booking ???

I am. I only have one more day of ADRs to get and I am desperate for O'Hana for breakfast and Crystal Palace for a late lunch/early dinner on our last day in the World! :surfweb:

I know my question has been asked before but I can't find it and my window opens up tomorrow.

I have played around with the online ressies and found, for the most part, that they are pretty easy to navigate but here is my question. How does it link to your reservation. I played around with it while I was logged in but nowhere did I see that I was able to do the 90+10. How do I do this?
Thanks

Above the place where you pick your date & time it says "Update Your Profile" and there is a link you can click on to link your resort reservation using your confirmation number.

Thanks so much:goodvibes. I just did this so I am guessing as soon as the 90 day window pops up it the + 10 will pop up as well?

Does anyone know if you make a ressie with your travel agent (in my case AAA) that you cannot use your reservation number on the Disney site to pull your info up? Everytime I put in my reservation number to test out the online dining system I get a message that it is unavailable at this time.

I'm afraid I'll have to wait to make my ADR's by phone--is that true?

I thought I read somewhere that the confirmation number from your travel agent is different from your Disney confirmation number. I would call your agent and ask.

Ack! Is anybody else having trouble booking using Safari or Firefox tonight? My window opens in less than 3 hours and Safari won't load the booking system at all, while Firefox gives me Error # E02020305001 when I try to associate my resort reservation number!

I had no problems playing around with the system today on my work PC using Google Chrome. Unfortunately, they don't make it for the Mac yet... :sad2:

ETA: Just tried this in Internet Exploder on a friend's PC and it wouldn't work for him either. Maybe it's Disney's problem...

I read on the previous post that you have entered your res. well before your 90 days and it tells you "sorry your to early." Is this what it's saying.

I am also well before my 90 days and tried to book bogusly, just to get a feel for the system........I am getting the dreaded error code. So scared at this point.

I thought maybe i was getting the error code because i was to early, that is until I read your post.
