The Daily Grind -- 9/4/09

Debbie is off having fun the beach for the weekend so I'll get this started for today.

My list is very similar to yesterday since I didn't get much done yesterday.

To do:
Make DH's lunch
DS up and off to school
Clean living room, dining room, bathrooms, and kitchen
Go pickup cj & Chicago photos from Walgreens
Go to library
Go grocery shopping
Work on cj's and swaps
Still waiting impatiently for what part DS will be doing in the plays. They are finishing the callback auditions today (I hope!).

verify pricing for project awaiting reply...may end up another route
take DS13 to school for NJHS meeting
DD to catch bus (not happy)... only 90 days til driver's license..she'll survive!
power nap til 9AM

empty dishwasher
get ready
pick up kdg. child
grocery
figure out pizzafari elements (think I have idea)
pull more papers and swap items and put w/ photos
make list of missing photos from 2008 trip
complete challenge 27 & post photo on challenge thread
lunch
elem homework duty
older kids' homework duty
get ready for FB game tonight (our team/fans are supposed to be on the highlights for one of the local channels!!!)
get everything ready for PJ's state preview meet tomorrow
bed early as we can (probably after halftime) bus leaves tomorrow @ 6:45am!


I think that is it for now, time to rattle my sleepy heads, they don't want to get up this morning! This is the last call today!

Second call they were up and movin'.. actually, DS13 (who I believe is hitting a growth spurt) was already on the couch! I think some of it now is the cooler weather and the warm blankets!

Nope, I won't be on tv..but our cheerblock will be... they are deciding today @ noon the theme and than it's a free for all w/ everyone trying to get the appropriate clothes to wear.. many a days we have made urgent runs to good will to get "themed" clothing! LOL

Have a great weekend everyone. I'm planning on having a great weekend with TONS of pictures of the beach and boys, I hate the travel part I always panic over the drive (no matter whos driving) so I'll be in a better frame of mind come 5pm when we should be pulling in.

Nancy glad they're at second call mine flew out of bed cause they knew if they didn't!!! Levi then decided to drag his behind I've told him he misses the bus he's riding his bike (he'd make it there about 3rd period cause it's 7 miles)
Jennifer I'm sure they will have a great day and leave you a mess.

Packing up the laptop now will try to check in later tonight

well we missed the bus this am. she said yesterday that she would be there at 8:40 everyday! today she was there at 8:20!

so we are off to a rocky start already!

i'm at work. for my last 1/2 day of the summer. back to winter hours next week. UGH!

Volunteer to go home with DD when her party meter runs out. I am so darn tired. I stayed up way too late watching Project Runway then Runway models. Like I care who is fighting in the Runway model house.

Ash~ that's a good thing..that she feels comfortable to walk to her class by herself.. I know it's hard...but it lets you know that she is maturing and is comfortable enough to tell you!!! I do so remember those days...I miss them..but I know my girl has a good head on her shoulders...and I know yours does too...

Holly, 20 minutes early.. uh, NOPE! That would result in a call to the transporation department and a meeting w/ everyone... If ours gets here 5 minutes early, she will blow the horn.. if the kids give her a wave; she knows I've got them.. if they open the door and asked her to hold on one minute as they grab bags she waits.. now that is the big kid route.. the morning route w/ the little ones.. He just blows right past if the kids aren't out.. We have a mtg. w/ him set up in a few weeks because come winter they will be inside, I will be on the front porch and he will stop or there WILL BE problems, big problems!! *of course he tried this last year w/ the big kids and I knocked him down a peg.. if we are waiting inside the door, peeking out, the least you can do is stop because you see the door open... *

Well, since you asked, sure! Here's us pre and post Kali River Rapids, and here's a few of Lou at American Idol (since that was the big thing of the trip). I don't have any of him actually performing yet, but when some Dis people who were there upload photos for me, I'll share those too.

And it was reallyyyyy hot at the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom - the days we went to Hollywood Studios and Epcot weren't as bad.

It was humid though - those shorts you see in Kali River? Took two days to dry. I had to buy new shorts about 10 minutes after we got off the ride, that's how bad it was.

In other news, my ABC swap came today!!!!
