It was Epcot morning emh, we arrived for 8.20. Immediately headed to Test Track to get a fastpass and while waiting went on the green version of Mission Space, was a bit apprehensive as I've read of people still ill even on this version! Need not have worried we were all OK! Went and did the character meet after this.

Went and had a little look around Mouse Gear and came out $85 lighter!
We also noticed this in the sky in the process of being written. We read 'Jesus loves ....' we assume it was going to say 'you' but a cloud got in the way and the beginning was starting to disappear!

Time to head for Worldshowcase now. Headed right as it was time for some comedians in UK, they were about to start and were about 5 minutes into their routine when it started to drizzle, and I mean drizzle not a downpour, they packed up and went inside! We had a lunchtime ADR for Le Cellier which was about 45 minutes later but thought we would be cheeky and see if they could squeeze us in early.

After a very pleasant 5 minutes talking to the young man who seated us we were taken inside. I didn't need to take much of a look at the menu I was determined to try the cheddar cheese soup. John also had a bowl and Glen had a Chicken Chipotle Sausage starter, after tasting our soup he said he'd have rather have had that!

We didn't have a dessert, just too full up.

Gradually made our way around the world seeing various things on the way. In no particular order here are the pics.

It pays to seek out the characters in Epcot WS, they have the time to talk to you, we had quite a conversation with these two about when they came over to UK last October, I told Jasmine I hoped she wore more clothes than that. In the spirit of their characters I asked if they flew over on their carpet (the daft things you do in Disney!!!!) the kids weren't with us, they were having a difficult moment outside, they were both being irritable so we left them to it while we went and had a look around.

Saw the globe being lead out onto the lake ready for Illuminations.

Had to go on the 3 Caballeros for Ashley (its his favourite and we did it about 5 times this holiday, slightly less than last holiday!). A thunderstorm was brewing so we headed back for a couple of hours before coming back at 8pm to see Illuminations.

Great family pictures with the characters! They are almost as good as the ones John and you take.

Another lovely day! I'm really enjoying your trip report. :thumbsup2

Did you manage to meet a lot of characters in the World Showcase?

I'm really enjoying your report. :goodvibes

Was Mission Space really not that bad? I have been too scared to do it.

Yes loads, I didn't put all of the pics up, we met Princess Aurora, Belle, Jasmine and Aladdin, Donald, there must have been others just can't think at the moment!!!! In the past Chip and Dale were there, Marie the cat, they seem to have a character at almost every 'land' around the WS.

Go for it, it is a lovely ride, it blasts you into space and you can see the earth from up there its lovely, I could have sat there all day looking at the view! There really isn't anything to it. I wanted to do it again but we never got around to it.

Thank you everybody for your kind comments.

EPCOT offers lots of great photo opportunities and through the years I've seen some beautiful pictures. Yours rival the best. Thank you for sharing them.

We'll have to take your word for it that the boys had a difficult patch that afternoon, because it only looked like everyone was having a wonderful time in the pictures.

Some of your pics - especially the night time ones - are pretty amazing.
Yet another good day it seems.

Thank you, what lovely comments.

The boys were being difficult, Glen had walked off in a temper at one point I had to call (or yell) him back, I used to work in a school playground and have not lost the ability to yell long distances:rotfl2:Ashley just refuses to walk with us when he has a moment so you can imagine its hard with both of them getting further apart! Doesn't happen very often at the same time thank goodness, they soon calmed down, as soon as we got to Germany we had a toblerone each and Ashley had a bag of Haribos, bit of a treat soon turns things around.

What lovely pictures. :)

Sounds like another great day. :)

Even my rollercoaster loving husband, who's motto when it comes to coasters is 'The bigger and scarier the better' wouldn't go on the Orange Mission:Space. He said something about not liking being spun round, and didn't want to force me onto the scary version.
