I am home again with DD, not sure if much will get done.

Should do:

Make bed
Apply lotion to poison ivy
take clothes off the line
hang sheets out on the line
take something out of the freezer for dinner
apply lotion to poison ivy
throw another load of laundry into the wash, out on the line
make a pasta salad for dinnerr
Take DD down to the beach or spend the afternoon in our pool
apply more lotion to poison ivy

I normally don't get poison ivy, maybe a little pin prick of a bit once in a blue moon, but Friday I was helping DH unload wood and now I have two spots on the inside of my arm. It wasn't bothering me earlier but now it is itching. That will teach me to help DH!

Scream!!! and tell DH he is no longer allowed to drive my car. He drove to the grocery store (the one *I* never go to!) on Thursday and someone backed up into the car and cracked the lower bumper. Thankfully they missed the backing sensor so that still works.
Then tonight he was coming back from the casino with dinner and got run off the road by a jerk trying to pass an ambulance!!! DH hit the curb and scrubbed up one of the wheel rims. ERGH!!!!!

Finish Lisa and MomE's t-shirts and maybe take a drive to Lisa's and drop them off. Sounds like she could use some company.

Drive to Manchester and buy up all the Mickey/Minnie park bench embellies for "U"

Work on 5A for the parks group

try to clean a room, I've just about given up on the house. No one helped me this weekend and I'm mad.

go to Mohegan Sun and get the powder I use for Disney

Lisa - Eep about the Poison Ivy - does taking Benedryl do anything? I've never had it.

Buffy - That's awful about the car, I hope your DH is okay. And you're going to drive all the way up to Manchester, New Hampshire, to get stickers? Is there some super-special store that has awesome deals I don't know about? Or is it just the no taxes?



My to-do today:

1) Up early
2) Breakfast
3) Put a load of laundry in wash
3) Work on a scrappy surprise for a DIS'er I'm meeting at the Dessert party, because she deserves it for all the awesome things she's planning for her nieces
4) Finish up Bus pieces for Toppers n' Tags
4) Get ready for BFF to come over
5) Show BFF scrapbooking stuff (she actually asked! I'm amazed... when I try to show Lou (DBF), he rolls his eyes.. at least he was impressed with Tn'T Tom Sawyer photomat)
6) Go into Boston to go on Codzilla for friend's birthday (for free, since Lou works on it )
7) Wander around Boston until it starts to rain
8) Pick up friend's sister and Lou when he gets off work, and all go to Indian restaurant for BFF's birthday.
9) Home, more swap stuff if I can

Nan--I still don't know how you get it all done!!

I've gotten in a pretty good routine this week, so I'm hoping to keep it up today!

1. Up
2. Caffeinate--where would we be without this??
3. Dust living room area
4. Fix pics for DH to take to his dad
5. Take last load out of dryer
6. DS up
7. Take DS to mom's
8. Take cards to work
9. Work--I can see the light at the end of the schedule changes!! Hopefully, it's not a train. . .
10. Pick up DS
11. Work at home on work
12. Walk with DH & DS & Lucy
13. P365 pic
14. Green Giant bag frozen meal for dinner--we're going to try to start fixing "real" meals now that DS is ready for big boy food (the GG meal doesn't count as "real". . .it would be real meals after this week).
15. Fold 2 loads of laundry & put away
16. Wash 2 loads of laundry
17. Go to sleep sort of early!

Buffy~ I'd be tellin' him NO MORE DRIVING MY CAR!!! Passing an ambulance? passing an ambulance.. seriously.... those are the people who ****** because it takes the ambulance longer to get to them in their need...but I bet the reason for the little extra length of time is b/c on another individual impeding the progress of the ambulance getting to the scene... Did DH get his license #? I'd be turning his $$$ in! Jerk!

DH is fine, just PO'ed about the car. $350 for a new wheel so I'm going to see if we can get this one smoothed out and repainted.

Manchester CT. It's the biggest shopping area around here, remember I live in the middle of no where so I have to drive for-ev-ah to get anywhere.

nope, he was to busy trying not to hit anything else. This stretch of road is "downtown" so on street parking and buildings this close to the road. Worse then your Main Street.

Buffy - EEK! No scratching the new car!!

So far behind today -

but did get truck to Ford for new idle air intake valve so that is good new. I guess??

Took advantage of Grandma actually watching the girls so I got address changed for our parcel. Wish I knew what the "street" address was going to be. But I guess thats another department....

Hoping DD2 will nap today - then off to AT& T store to use cell phone insurance and get a new Blackberry. My Blackberry, like me, does not like McD's Sweet Tea. Can't text - keyboard is dead.

Nan - still formulating the 4H questions - big budget crisis in CA - maybe you have heard?? 4H is under the guidance of the Univ of Calif in our county but UC is planning on cutting ALL funding for UC Cooperative Extension in Madera County. So it appears unless they can reach a funding agreement with our County Board of Supervisors - who have a huge budget deficit to also work with - our 4H program will be no more. So very, very sad about this. Slowing killing a way of life IMHO. Meetings continue this week. And my FIL is UC's County Supervisor so if this falls through = early retirement.
