Had breakfast in the lounge before getting to the parks for 9am.

Couldn't help but take pics of the pool everytime we passed it!

Entered a very quiet US and made our way to ET (what is with the giving your names in?) Went to Men in Black (trouble with the lockers again) then I went on Simpsons ride with Glen again, we had a back row this time and have to say it was much easier on the neck!

When we came out of here John and Ashley had met Bart and Lisa so we all went over to have a picture taken.

Had a bit of a wander round takings photos on the way.

Went on Jaws again to get some better photos as we now knew when the action would happen! Went in Earthquake as well. It was very warm (I would guess 92 degrees as everytime we noticed the forecast in the paper or the lifeguards blackboards it said 92 degrees!)
We passed the new ride being tried (RRR) then went to see Donkey and Shrek.

Donkey was hilarious, Shrek was OK.

Imagine Donkey's accent - conversation went:-

"Where you all from"
"Central England"
"You know the Queen?"
"Yes"
"Next time you see her, say Donkey says 'hi Lizzy".

Strolled over to Citywalk for a browse around the shops and caught our first experience of heavy Florida rain. After a while caught the boat back to HRH and spent the rest of the afternoon being amused by the DJ organising games in and around the pool. Only on holiday would we be doing the YMCA dance in water! There were hula hoop competitions for girls (who lasted ages) boys (didn't last as long) mums (a few minutes) lastly dads (who were just so funny it still makes me smile now).

Unfortunately we had to leave the fun of the pool to get ready for Blue Man Group show. We had seats 2nd row back of the section behind the poncho section. John and Glen had the wheelchair gap in front of them which wasn't filled, so they had a clear view.

Naughty I know, but you have to have a memory and no-one knew it had been taken

Meeting them afterwards.

One of the highlights of Glen's holiday so he asked for a poster.

Went to IOA to do some of the things not yet done. Glen and I went on Dr. Doom's Fearfall and generally had a walk around while Ashley and John went on Bilge Rat Barges.

We made our way over to Citywalk to see it in the dark, we like to see everywhere during the day and at night too, looks lovely with all the lights on. By the time we got back to HRH the music was still being played. I went and settled our bill with my Fairfx card before getting a coffee and heading to our room. There was no food left in the lounge so didn't get a bedtime snack! The only time we found food was at breakfast time, we never did get our timings right for the lounge food

great day, you all look so colourful,:) the last picture of son is a great picture.

At the end of the ET ride, ET says good bye to you by name, did you miss it? My DD loved it.

I must have missed it, just thought it seemed to hold up the queue on entering. Really should pay more attention:rotfl:

You didn't really miss much to be honest, it amused my DD. I imagine a few people must miss it.

You do have to listen really, really hard to hear your name sometimes.

What did you think of Blue Man Group?

Sounds like another great day :thumbsup2
Like Wickesy, I'd like to know whether you enjoyed the Blue Man Group!

Ilove the end of E.T it can't pronounce Eloise:rotfl:
We really want to stay at the Hard Rock next time we visit just for the FOTL access.
You all look like your having a great time.

Yes, we did enjoy it a lot but I found it a bit noisy to be honest, its strange but Ashley sometimes over reacts to quieter things than this but this didn't bother him:confused I can't really tell you much about the show without spoiling it but I would definitely go again. Glen said it was one of the highlights of his holiday. Parts of it were very clever, parts very funny and parts made you squirm!

Another fab day, I can't wait to try the Simpsons ride.

DD doesn't like the "blue mans" as she calls them! She saw them on Ceebeebies one day and they comppletly freaked her out so when she sees a poster of them in Orlando thae first thing she says is " I don't like them" :)

A great day by the looks of it.
When we went to see the BMG we enjoyed it so much we got tickets for their UK tour, and we are going to see them again in October at US. I would say a BMG show is one of the hardest things to try and explain to someone - and I have tried a few times.
We also love Donkey and make a visit to him everytime. One of the funniest things you are likely to see all holiday in my opinion.

Biggest smiles I've seen so far in your report seem to be thanks to the Simpsons and the Blue Men, so that was money well spent. You all certainly coordinated your clothes well with Bart and Lisa, made you look like one big happy family.

Well we are the Simpsons!!!! But it was by chance! A lot of times this holiday things worked well, we were either in the right place at the right time or unfortunately one day we were in the wrong place at the wrong time, will tell all later.

I also enjoyed the picture of you guys with cousin Bart and cousin Lisa, but the picture of Glen with the park in the background at twilight was the best. Glad to hear BMG went over so well with Ashley and Glen. Since the blue men don't talk, you never have to worry about bad language and I love the music with the tubes.

Visual comedy works well with Ash, he can understand that sort, I'm surprised the noise didn't bother him.

I was unsure about the Blue Man Group, but think that we will add this one to the list :thumbsup2

We enjoyed it, wouldn't hesitate in going back, if the kids enjoyed it it must be good! If you are brave enough to wait until you are there the tickets were going really cheaply. They were advertising the same day performance for $25 for children (didn't say how much for adults but assumed they had been reduced a lot).
