Good morning, everyone!! YIPPEE for Tuesday (better than Monday, definitely!!)

I got a lot accomplished yesterday. I'm hoping to do the same today! I need a productive week over the next 2 weeks!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Clean kitchen & dining
4. DS up
5. Take DS to Mom's
6. Take other stuff to mom's
7. Send cards with DH to mail
8. Take other cards to work
9. Work--again, need to get LOTS done!!
10. Pick up DS
11. Play with DS!!!!
12. Fold laundry & put away
13. Wash 3 loads of clothes--HOW do we make so much laundry??
14. Lean Cuisine for dinner, DH is late
15. Walk with DS
16. Watch "Cake Boss" from last night
17. P365 pic
18. Go to sleep sort of early!!

Good Morning!

My list for today:

Laundry (as always!)
Sort scout t-shirts and take to meeting tonight
Help new scout treasurer with problem of more reimbursements needed than money collected
Find the frame on the wall that's clattering!!!! I have a wall covered in photo frames in my dining room. One of them is now clattering everytime the a/c comes on and it's driving me batty!!!!!! I need to find it and put little felt pieces on the bottom corners.
Set up boxes for sorting color swap and prepare for swapping out
Take DS to Verizon to get his cell phone fixed (AGAIN!)
Make sure DS gets to school on time to help teachers with their classrooms
Nag DH until he takes paperwork to credit union
Work on swaps

It's Tuesday! It's supposed to be super hot, Morgan and I are camping out (indoors!) until around 2:00 and then we'll head to the pool and cool down.

I'm working on swaps until then, hope to get A LOT accomplished between now and then (note to self, go get the Cricut out of the car!).

I have the Color swap groups all cut out, I just need to adhere and embellish.

I have to finish my last two spots in the Cruise swap - I may use Stephanie's idea and scrap the SCAL idea on one of them and make a paper doll with a decapitated Mickey .

I have to do my Epcot page for the General Disney swap (this can be finished tomorrow/Thursday morning, since I'm meeting Buffy on Thursday afternoon to hand off this swap).

I have to cut another 'd' for Nan out of Cardinal (Nan, did you find the Cardinal?).

Got a call and email that the water company is stopping handing out "free" water as of 8:00 pm tonight. They still haven't fixed the problem, but they are not going to hand out any more water? They recommend boiling the water before use and consumption. Sorry, I'm not consuming any boiled poopy water. Just isn't happening! Oh, and I'm not naive enough to believe that this is "free" water, they'll just raise our rates.

I'm tired just reading Nan's list. She really makes me look like a slacker mom.

I got a lot done yesterday- DD's closet looks pitiful. We cleaned out the clothes and she has none left. Except for the new clothes we just bought for school. Keep in mind, we just did a big clean out at the beginning of the summer.

Jennifer - Then go at 7:00 (or sometime before 8 when they'll still have water) and tell them that you're taking enough to last until they fix it, and take a lot of flats of it. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to provide an alternate or a "bandaid-solution" until they get everything right again. I can't believe it's taking so long.... (There's always the mall..... )

UpAt 7:30!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. I thought it was 11 because of how the light was coming in.
Install A/C in parents' room (not even mine..) My dad threw his back out, so I had to do it.

This heat is killing me. It was 94 on my shaded porch yesterday, could someone please take this heat south I live in the north for a reason. It's so hot and sticky the hay won't even dry. I may complain about the cold but I'll take it any day.
I've had my 3 days of summer it can go back to the low 80's now or even the 70's.
How are all the Ma and CT folks fairing? Jennifer your camped out indoors SMART woman.
As of last night there is a chance of this breaking tonight I haven't looked at the weather this am. Off to do that now.

I can't take the cold, which is why I'm in Texas! Although at the moment, the heat is out of control- we are setting all kinds of records for temps. We have been above 100 for the last 59 days. We stay inside until it 'cools' down to the mid-90's around 8:30 in the evenings! And to add insult to injury, central Texas (where I am) is experiencing a drought like we haven't seen in 25 years.

I think their idea of a bandaid solution is "boil the water". That completely skeeves me out. It's bad enough I have to shower in it!

We found a friend who would like to go to the pool. So, we'll go there around 2. At least we'll be cool

I've got all the pieces cut of my decapitated Mickey pirate. Soooo much easier than what I wanted to do in SCAL. Hopefully, they are okay. I will put them together today, along with my new Minnie mermaid and mail to Michelle tomorrow! Yay!

-Decided what to do about Disney trip - feel like chucking everything and driving down right now.

-Bag stuff for Goodwill
-Truck to dealer for repair
-4H forms to fair office - they are due today!!
-Call insurance company - gotta figure out lab bills for DH bone marrow biopsy Doctor used his favorite lab - which was not in network so we are looking at a $1300 bill for the one biopsy review. Want to know what ins. would have paid if in network and try to negotiate with lab.
-Draft letter to old Country Club to see if they is any way to get out of that membership - we moved 2.5 hours away - its stupid to keep paying them.

OK better get a move on!

Ummm, how can they stop supplying the water? Don't the rates pay for clean potable water? Sucks to be them, but they haven't fixed the problem in days...they won't be fufilling their part if they stop giving the potable water for "free"...right? I mean, aren't you already paying? Somewhere there has to be fine print that has some kind of guarantee. How long do they expect you to boil anyway, I thought 24 hrs was enough.
