Club 33 - So close....yet so far!

So I was out with a friend last night and talking about DL. She tells me that one of her good friends was able to go to "some private club - Club 22...or something like that" through a CM that they both know. So of course, I freak out and tell her I have been dying to go there. She called the CM for me to see if there was any way he can get DH and I in....

So all last night I had some hope that we might actually be getting to go to Club 33, but my friend sent me an email this morning, that the CM no longer has a connection anymore. I am so disappointed!!! Just wanted to share because I know you all would understand......

Bummer!!! I have a co-worker who knows a CM who was going to try to get us in but nope, he can't do it either. I'm sad.... We can be sad together.

They've made a lot of changes with getting people into Club 33. As a member we have to pay a $100 cancellation fee for no shows now and cancellations. Also if we let a guest come in that is disruptive they have the right to cancel our membership. Also if someone uses the complementary ticket to get into the park and then does not show up for the meal, not only do we have to pay a $100 no show fee but also pay for their admission tickets. So we never get reservations for friends of friends anymore.

I can understand that, I think there would be very few people I would be making reservations for!

Don't give up hope hon. I dreamt of going for so long, then out of the blue we got the offer to go and we'll be there in 3 weeks. Keep the faith! It will happen. Let me know if you want me to bring you back something.

Thank you for the kind words! You are so thoughtful to offer, thank you zeitzeuge! I think I will hold out the hope of going and actually being able to get something while I am there, but again, thanks so much.
