Yes, our trip is really soon, I can hardly believe it. We've been planning for almost a year so it doesn't seem real that it is finally almost here. I guess I'll believe it when I'm on the plane on Wednesday!

I don't think I'm going to do a trip report. Going with my 2 best friends and their kids and not sure how comfortable they would be with me posting pics of their kids, you know what I mean? I'd love to do one just to have a memory of our trip, but I think I may do a scrapbook (maybe even the Disney Photopass book -- depends on how lazy I'm feeling ) instead.

I just looked back at your trip report from last fall and we just missed each other then too -- I was there Halloween week last year. Hopefully you can get to the F&W festival soon when you're all feeling a little bit better

The Flower & Garden Festival is also a great time to go -- I have been in April the past 2 years and the weather has been great and Epcot is just beautiful. I think October and April are my 2 favorite times to be at the world. Of course I have yet to be down there in December to see the holiday decorations.

So glad to hear you got the smaller boot! Hopefully your foot is feeling a lot better soon.

And I love your countdown calendar. Looks like a fun thing to do with Henry each morning!

When you get back-feel free to post any highlights here of pictures you do want to share! I hope it's a WONDERFUL trip...I'm sure it will be! Wednesday will be here before you know it.

April sounds like a perfect month for Disney. Up here it still cold and snowy, so escaping somewhere it's beautiful, warm, and flowers are everywhere would be a perfect time for us. I'm going to keep that in mind-thank you for the tip!

My foot has been feeling really good this past weekend, I didn't wear the large boot at all! I'm still a bit sore, but nothing even close to what I was two weeks ago.

Isn't the last few weeks such a mixed bag... it drags by yet it flies by. We've had the "pile" sitting in the dining room for a couple of weeks now and last night as I folded laundry I pulled out all of Junior's stuff... that means it's getting awfully close!!!

I am so happy about the smaller boot! For the past two days, I have looked at the big boot with a smile, knowing I don't have to wear it.

I'm off to post pictures of our Single Digit Disney Party we had tonight - I didn't dare post the pictures of the pizza on Facebook. Some of my friends are already considering committing me due to my love of Disney. Those pictures would seal the deal.

YAY for being put in the smaller boot! I hope things continue to progress so you can walk without problems at Disney. As for the Target travel aisle..that thing is addictive plus I can never walk out of Target with what I went in to get. I also end up getting 50 million other things also! LOL.

The countdown calendar is great! They are so much fun to do. I just wish I had my own. Although 2 months from today I leave to go visit DH so I guess I have one going.

I totally understand! Since I am finally active on Facebook again (I have had an account for a long time, but never logged in), all these people are commenting about things on my profile. I had two people at church come up to me and ask about Disney World last night! One family is going in April and they haven't gone since the parents were little, so I get to help plan their trip!!!!!!!!!!! But, I have to remind myself to be careful how liberal I am with my small addiction here...otherwise I might end up in the padded cell next to yours!

I have that problem with Target too. Those big box type of stores just suck ya in!

Today marks 20 days until our trip. We are THISCLOSE to the teens!



And it is time for....

THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY, WE'LL BE.....

This is our first full day. We flew in late last night. In Florida it's currently 9:13. AK opened 13 minutes ago.

As you all know, I've never seen this-or any opening show-I snagged this pic from a site via Google Image Search. I puffy heart Google.

We plan to just have a relaxed morning this day because we got to bed so late. Henry most likely woke up 1-2 hours ago,

This picture is when Henry was 5 months old.

and we should be all ready for the day and at least on our way to breakfast, if not eating at this moment, which will be at CSR's Pepper Market.

Then we might explore CSR a bit and eventually head to AK!


Earlier this week was a near-by small town's yearly festival...the Corn Carnival. A celebration of CORN! I have no idea how it came about, but it really is a great time each year - and free corn on the cob is served, ya can't beat that.

Henry LOVED every ride we went on, a very good sign for next month.

The carousel was probably his least favorite - he liked it but...

He LOVED the cars oh so much more!

His cousin is riding along with him. Both red heads!

But his ABSOLUTE FAVORITE was the slide

He was nervous the first ride down...

But immediately asked for "more, more"

So, up I went - and down we came!

"More, more!"

"More, more!"

But we were out of tickets. Mental note for next year: Buy a whole book of tickets for Henry!

Joe and I were happy that he liked the most thrilling ride the best. Goofy's Barnstormer just might be happening in our near future... Though Barnstormer is a tad bit more thrilling than the slide...



And I have to say, it's now 8:58 am. It did not take me that long to write this - work interrupted DIS time...again!

I know! It's hard to believe! We have a busy couple weeks coming up too, so hopefully that will make time go by even faster.

It's really fun looking back at old pictures of Henry. He seems so teeny--but he really wasn't, he's always been big! I can't believe he's going to be TWO in 19 days. :frown:

Work is better today than it was a couple days ago. Now another Client has a big issue, we got one resolved, and onto the next!
