Going to waterpark later in day - is it worth it?

We are planning a day at BB the day after we arrive (8/21) and we are usually at parks at rope drop. Since we will be very tired and the kids may want to try out Stormalong Bay prior to going. Would going to BB later be worth it and what time is a good time to get there (when do the people who were there at rope drop start leaving?).

Thanks!

We did both of our waterpark days as late afternoon/early evening last August and it worked well. We found that the later it got the quieter the park became, we managed to find beds etc and to eat without any waits. Hope it works for you too.

I was curious about this too. We dont want to do commando park tourning this time, so we figured 1/2 day at MK and 1/2 day at TL, but didnt know if it would be worth it.
Sounds like it may work.:surfweb:

Going to the water parks later in the day sort of fits our routine. We are pretty much local, so we dont do "commando," but instead we will get up hit a few rides in the morning, head back to the resort around lunch for a nap, and then pop into a wp around 2. Makes for a good day if you ask me:thumbsup2

I see people starting to leave TL about 11:30 or so in the morning, and by 1:00 we definitely have more people heading out than heading in. Due to the crowds decreasing is one of the reasons we have a specially priced "Florida Resident After 2:00 Annual Pass" available.

OP here, Sounds like this may be an option for us. I know this is a long shot but is there a discounted ticket for arriving later in the day?

Thanks.
