I realise that every holiday booked is going to be different.. but a relative of mine is going on a coach trip, ferry and being taken to a hotel in paris. They are going to be reliant on the coach to take them from their hotel and to return them. Basically, they are going to get One day, sunday (bank holiday weekend). It is a couple and a daughter I think she is 3yrs and i think they have some other friends going too.

Q1 - if any of you have done or know of similar, what time do you think they will take people back from park to hotel, would they be sympathetic to the parade times?

Also, would you expect that the coach gets them to the park for 10am?

Q2 Also - their little girl thinks she is definitely going to see mickey, I suggested that to ensure this happens, they should think about eating at cafe mickey. I have a menu from last month for child is is 14.50Euro but i cant remember how much the adult set meal is for? Can you help please as I dont want to tell them a figure and its wrong as they are on a budget.

Q3 - rides. i went last month, yes it was the start of french school hols and near bastille day.. but i was not prepared to wait 40mins for any of the rides, personally, I dont think any of them are particularly worth the wait. so luckily made use of early morning hours. unfortunately, the family going at bank hol will not have EMH - can you think of any rides that might be quicker- i thought caseys train was fairly quick (unless we were lucky.)

I know this is a bit of an all-rounder question but they did just ask me what i thought and I want to help them to make the most of their day.

Actually the main thing I need help with is - does anyone know the current set meal price for Cafe Mickey? I know the kids is 14.50E

Some of these answers would be a bit of a guess but...

1) I'd imagine that they would take about an hour from the Hotel to DLRP...so I'd would think they would leave at around 9am and arrive at DLRP for opening at 10am. I'd imagine that they would leave the park at around 7 or 8pm.

2) Do you know how strict of a budget they are actually on? It may be better to suggest that they actually wait at the 'meet n greet' for Mickey on Main Street USA instead as Cafe Mickey would take a large chunk of any budget for them. I'm not sure on the price of Cafe Mickey's set Menu...I think its 35 euros however if they wanted to they could just have a pizza there and they would still see the characters.

3) Well it will be busy...Sunday's seem less busy than Saturday's at DLRP but as it's a bank holiday weekend I'd imagine that the same won't be true...the good part is that it's at the end of the Summer Holidays and hopefully most people will have already had thier holidays :thumbsup2
Personally I think you were lucky. Casey Jnr usually has longer waits whenever we are there...maybe suggest the Molly Brown, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Caves in Adventureland, Fastpass for Buzz Lightyear's Lazer Blaster and Peter Pan in the Disneyland Park and then some of the shows in the Walt Disney Studios as they 'should' have shorter wait times.

Adult set menu at Cafe Mickey was €30.00 a head when we were there at the end of July.

To meet Mickey you could try Woodys Roundup in Frontierland where he is often on a meet and greet with some other characters - we got Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Woody and Jessie all at once after queuing 30 mins.

WDS is a good call on a busy day - I went there on Bastille Day, with very little queues.

If the coach leaves before the parade in DLP, catch the Stars n Cars parade in WDS instead.

Weve ALWAYS met Mickey he does a meet and greet every day in the main park so she should get to see him.

Hi,

It is a nice post.

Charleston is located in US state of West Virginia. Charleston has plenty of indoor and outdoor activities that you can partake and enjoy. Nature lovers can come to appreciate the stunning landcape of the Kanawha Valley. Summer is here and as the temperature rise, cool down at the Waves of Fun in Putnam County. The whole family is sure to have a whale of a time at this water park. The kids are sure to enjoy the thrills of the water slides, twisting and turning from great heights and into the water.
